  • I cannot begin to express the joy I had in watching this video. I used to own one of these Honda's. I purchased one when I lived in LA 1991. When I purchased this car it was just a few years old, but it looked brand, spankin' news. Man, how I loved that car! When I moved back to NY, I drove it across the country in just 4-days! But, sadly enough, that's when I lost the car. It started with one break in, then another break in, then it was vandalized and I finally just sold it because I didn't want to keep dumping money into repairs and glass replacements. Still, of all the cars that I owned, this one was one of my favorites. So, watching this restoration video was especially enjoyable for me! You do fantastic work, my friend.

  • There's just something about these late 80s to late 90s Honda's that seems magical. Engineered with such attention to detail, yet simplistic enough to take apart. Every part had a purpose and was designed to be as easy to remove as it is to put on. That being said, your work and car is gorgeous. A true craftsman and artist.

  • I had a 91. Boosted the D series. Blew it up. Swapped in a JDM GSR and that thing bone stock, gutted interior ran a 13.3 1/4 which was pretty fricken fast for like 2004. Then I spent way too much money building up a GSR stroker block sleeved and decked to 2.1L aiming for 280-300whp NA. Basically built it, got it running. Drove it on a base tune for a week. Parked for winter. Decided I was gonna do the body work over winter, stripped the car down to bare metal. Got a new project. Parked the car outside like an idiot and left it for 2 years due to no time. Completely rusted out. Scrapped the shell. Sold the motor and parted it out. I miss that car. Most fun I've ever had driving around. It's like a little go-kart.

  • Wow, it came out amazing, not to mention going by the OEM+ route is in my opinion the best way to go when it comes to these 90's cars. Always had a soft spot for these generation of CRX's and Second Generation Eclipses since i was a kid, yet i always remember this gen's CRX everywhere back in highscool. In my opinion, 90's cars has always had a special charm that hasn't been able to be replicated with today's cars.

  • Wow. Unbelievable. Simply amazing. Only thing missing is aftermarket JDM wheels. I remember in high school that a couple of young pretty boy drug dealers had this car dropped on gold Daytons with the boom in the back. I love to restore old things, especially auto-related, so this was so satisfying to watch!!!

  • Beautiful work, CRXSeth! Friday the 13th, 1987, my "Future Ex-Wife to Be" dreamed about a car wreck early that morning and told me all the details about it. We drove around that day in our silver and grey CRX and we took the "shortcut to Mom's house" and while getting on the highway, WHAM! we got hit from behind and everything she explained about the dream happened in exact detail. It was a great little car but talk about a totaled car and my totaled spine! I've owned 13 Hondas and have a EBP 1999 Civic Si with 371K on the odometer. Excellent video editing and wonderful job on the CRX! Drive it until the wheels fall off!!
