My buddy and I built a civic like that with the Type R motor and the 5 lug conversion - car wasn't fast in a straight line, but it was almost literally a go-kart for the street. So fun. The best part of the video is watching you spend time with your son - time flies as a parent and all these little things you do with them you forget about, but they are monumental to them. God Bless from the USA!

I’ve had a b18c1 fully rebuilt and in 300 miles was leaking from valve cover and idles too high. This was at a very famous shop for JDM cars not a cheap shop. Also my paint looks like shit when I paid for that too and car has been in garage for 10 years never driven. Absolutely amazing attention to detail and thank you so much for sharing. • Absolutely awesome! I have the utmost respect for what this bloke has done - how the hell does he remember where everything needs to go back?! Such intelligence. I couldn’t think of anything worse to do - I’d end up with a thousand bits and pieces with no idea where they had to fit.

  • My God, that's beautiful! My first car was a 92 Civic HB... always regretted selling that car, especially since it was in immaculate condition and unlike most examples still out there. Great restoration and tasteful choice of parts and upgrades 👍

  • Holy cow, that was seriously impressive from start to finish. Undoubtedly, that would've taken ages to strip apart and finish it. It's really commendable what you've done with this '90's classic. I can remember when they were such a huge deal with all the civic models, everyone wanted to have one (even me, but I wasn't as fortunate...but I did have my own Japanese car at the time from a different company). I'm really glad that you went with the colours that you chose because those were all quite popular back in the day (tho probably a slight variation of the hue of blue, but that's just me being either nit picky or forgetful of the times). Thank you for bringing that CR-X back to life....and even better with the DOHC engine upgrade as well as the coil upgrades.
