@@effwee13 Both parents are famous artists in Kazachstan. He is practising since he is 5. His teacher said he started composing own songs in grade 4. Yes permanent practise and he likes what he does. Most of these prodigys are pushed to do it and do something else when they become adult. Yes, you need the physical possibility but to become that good it needs years of hard work and passion.

Lol Dimash isn't just 1% talent. He was born with VERY high levels of talent. There's no way you can achieve that level with just hard work alone. You need to be born with talent as well.

Er hat die größte Range der Welt (offiziell mehr als 6 Oktaven, inoffiziell wahrscheinlich noch mehr), aber es ist nicht nur seine Range, die ihn einzigartig macht. Es ist auch die Schönheit seiner Stimme, die Art wie er singt, seine unglaubliche Bühnenpräsenz und vieles mehr. Er selbst sagt, dass seine Range eigentlich eher unwichtig ist, weshalb er auch nicht gerne darüber redet. Ihm geht es nur darum, mit seinen Liedern, die Wirkung auf sein Publikum erzielen zu können, die er erzielen möchte. Für ihn ist seine Range, nur deshalb wichtig und notwendig. Das war bei weitem noch nicht alles was Dimash mit seiner Stimme anstellen kann und auch noch nicht seine ganze Range. Es ist einfach unfassbar was er für eine Stimme hat. Von Performance und Gefühlen mal gar nicht zu reden. Er hat es mehr als einmal geschafft mich in ein heulendes etwas zu verwandeln und gleichzeitig mich mit seiner Stimme auch wieder aufzufangen. Wow. Your reaction and analysis was as "Virtuoso" as Dimash's performance. Very few reactors, even the "Vocal Coaches" explain as well and as much as you did. Dimash is definitely special. He is 26 years old and has trained in "Classical" and "Contemporary" music since he was 5 years old. It shows. But as you said, he was born with a "God" given talent also. Thanks, really enjoyed and appreciated your response. Dimash has been singing SOS professionally since at least 2012 - age 17. Each performance is different. His contest performance in 2017 (age 22) literally made him an overnight pop star in China, with millions of hits. Most of his performances are live, without production on the voice. You may be entertained to listen to some of the older performances, and see the incredible changes in his voice.... especially around 2015/16. He's been formally studying voice since age 5.

You won't be listening to his music on the radio or seeing him often on Western television, but this artist's fan base is larger and more loyal than some of the most famous and international pop stars. People will fight you online if you pronounce the wrong name, your fans will spend hours watching your videos, opening fan clubs around the world and leaving long comments on KZhead with the story of each song. They are obstinate and well prepared. My question was necessary at this point. What made these people so close to him, and what does he have that other artists don't? He doesn't need paid advertising because his fans will do it for free. They genuinely love this artist so much that they want to make him known at all costs. Some claim he provides them to overcome depression, others say he has changed their lives with his music, some fans even believe he is an angel or a superhuman. If you send in that Michael Jackson had some diehard fans, Dimash fans, who call themselves Dears, are clearly above them all. As soon as I heard his voice, I was immediately impressed in 2017. No wonder his fans are obsessed, his voice is incredible and, at first glance, he also seemed like a very humble person. The 26-year-old Kazakhstan artist reached stardom for the first time after participating in some national competitions and spreading his fame abroad, taking second place in the Chinese program - I Am A Singer 2017-. In this show, he was the youngest participant to compete against established and professional Chinese artists. One of the songs I heard him sing was a popular "S.O.S d'un terrien en détresse". A French song by Daniel Balavoine. I was immediately impressed by his incredible technique and delivery. His vocal training is formally classic, but he can sing pop songs extremely well. Your choice of original songs and covers is never obvious and always leaves the listener in awe. What shocks me the most is the use of the vocal fry technique. He manages to hit super low notes and jump to highs so perfectly, without ever failing. Above all, the most impressive feature of his voice is the use of the "whistle". I never heard a man use this technique before Dimash. Sorry Mariah, but her whistles are incredible. You just need to listen to his songs for yourself, because it is impossible to explain this talent with words. His vocal range is incredible. Its length is 6 octaves and 5 semitones, ranging from a low A1 to an incredible D8. Observing this, the highest note male record is an F # 8 and Dimash is only 3 semitones from him, I wonder if one day he would try to beat the record. Another thing that caught my attention, was the perfect pitch always impeccable . He is probably the only singer who has never been challenged on any score, which is why many people have given the nickname "Alien". But impeccable technique and interpretation are not Dimash's only qualities. We learned about his humanity at the -Best show in the world-, a reality show competition, where he competed in 2019. The American show increased the popularity of the Kazakh singer abroad, so much so that one of his songs, in Kazakh language, debuted on MTV USA in October 2020. The love for his country and his honesty are always visible in all his performances. Each of his concerts always includes cultural aspects related to his country, such as the use of private instruments for accompaniment or traditional clothing and singing styles. I think the choice to sing in your native language was anything but casual. I believe that one of his goals is to increase the popularity and recognition of his country. After gathering my thoughts, I realized that I was right about my assumptions. Your last Instagram post just mentioned: It is necessary to understand that I have become who I am now, mainly thanks to Kazakhstan. Because I grew up in Kazakhstan, I ate Kazakh dishes, I studied with a Kazakh vocal educator, I was raised in a Kazakh family. And the main stimulus that moves me is my nation and my country! After all, I think we have now answered my previous question. What made this artist so close to his fans? And what does he have that others don't? An incredible voice is not enough today. Social media has brought artists closer to their audience, who want to make sure that whoever is following is someone to relate to. Artists like Dimash tend to gain millions of followers around the world, not only for their talent, which is definitely the main reason, but also for their humility and the way they interact with others. When people feel closer to an artist, they tend to want to know more about him. Dimash is talented enough, mysterious enough and, at the same time, so realistic that he could easily be your next-door neighbor. In a world where talent and simplicity often go hand in hand, Dimash is a real pleasure for everyone. I can’t get over your legit explanation of what his voice was doing. At times people have been mean to Dimash for his pronunciation or his drama that he brings. But, Dimash is always the student and gets better on his singing languages and his 4 spoken languages. You were so fair to him. You saw right away his talent. It took you a matter of seconds to know he had training. He’s in his doctorate at the university in Khazakastan when he isn’t giving concerts and making music. Congratulations on your reaction, Dimash is a very humble and simple boy, for what i have read and seen he highly appreciates his roots and exposes them when he can in his presentations. He is very respectful of everyone and kind. He was competing in The World´s Best in 2019 but he retired. This caused annoyance in Rupaul but Dimash was more concerned with leaving the little ones that competed with him frustrated and seeing the level and quality that he has, he would very likely have won. By the way the prize was of 1,000,000.00 dollars.

Wow, endlich mal noch eine deutsche Reaktion zu Dimash😍 Ich bin seit Jahren absoluter Fan und habe ihn live 2019 in Düsseldorf gesehen. Da bleibt einem wirklich der Atem weg. Er ist live noch besser. Kaum zu glauben aber wahr. Er absoluter Ausnahmesänger und dazu noch ein sehr sympathischer junger Mann. Ach, ich wollte 2020 so gerne sein Solokonzert sehen, aber das ist mittlerweile auf April 2022 verschoben. Hoffen wir mal das bis dahin besuchen dürfen. Er ist einfach unglaublich ! Ich verstehe nicht warum er so unbekannt ist in der Welt der Musik. Er hätte soviel mehr Aufmerksamkeit verdient.

Ich bin sehr begeistert, dass auch mal eine Reaktion auf deutsch zu finden ist, das ist leider noch viel zu selten. Ja, Dimash hat von Gott gegebene Fähigkeiten, das sieht er übrigens ebenso. Er sieht es als Geschenk an, welches er nutzt um Menschen Freude zu bringen. Er wird oft gefragt in Bezug auf seinen Stimmumfang, aber er wiegelt immer ab, dass sei nicht wichtig. Seine Stimme ist nur sein Instrument und sein Wunsch ist es seine Zuhörer in bessere Welten zu entführen. Ich finde er macht das ganz großartig. Diese Mischung aus verschiedenen Musikstilen, Gesangsstilen innerhalb eines Liedes, das ist auch ein Dimash Spezial, was ich als sein Fan sehr liebe. Es macht jedes Lied einzigartig und spannend. Ich würde mich wirklich sehr freuen, wenn hier noch mehr Reaktionen auf Lieder von ihm kommen würden. Er hat wirklich viel, einige Cover, aber inzwischen auch ein großes Angebot von Originalen, die er teils selber bzw. die für ihn geschrieben wurden. Eines der Lieder, das ich auch sehr gerne habe, Olympico (Ogni Pietra) ist sehr operatic und sehr intensiv, wie ich finde: kzhead.info/sun/l8-Jg5qsb2anmmw/bejne.html Sinful Passion ist auch ein sehr schönes Beispiel wie sehr er verschiedene Stile mischt. Er singt in sehr vielen verschiedenen Sprachen. Eigentlich spricht er Kasachisch und Russisch, das sind seine beiden Hauptsprachen. Er ist am Englisch lernen und versuchte sich auch in Mandarin. Dies singt er sehr gut, aber er gibt an, das diese Sprache sehr schwer für ihn zu lernen ist.

What you think is whistle register is not for Dimash yet. He get's into HIS whistle register above about F#6 and can reach all the way up to D8 (so far). When utilizing vocal fry he can dip into the 1st octave giving him a usable range of about 7 octaves and all of those moments were recorded in live performances not just studio recordings. The more you listen to Dimash the more you will be shocked.

Wonderful reaction! I hope you do many more of Dimash. You will continue to be astonished, believe me. He will be 27 years old in a couple of weeks and started his music schooling when he was only five years old, at which time it was discovered he had perfect pitch. He plays many instruments, including piano and dombra (a Kazakh instrument that looks somewhat like a mandolin and is taught to all Kazakh children from a young age) and both of his parents are singers. He was offered a position in the Astana opera, but chose to follow his own path so he could sing many different genres of music, not just opera. I will be looking forward to your next reaction, which I would suggest is Olympico aka Ogni Pietra, performed at his Arnau concert. Thank you and greetings from Las Vegas, USA!
