  • Straight vinegar removes scale. If you don't want to remove your shower head wind a rubber band on the pipe, pour vinegar into a sturdy plastic bag then secure with rubber band. Presto. A lot easier than taking your plumbing apart.

  • About the bugs in flour...flour has bug eggs in it. When you buy flour, put it in the freezer for 3 days. The eggs will freeze and not hatch out.😊

    • We put everything in ziplocks so if there are bugs, we haven't seen them. However, if you get bugs in your kitchen, they will invade anything anything made of flour and it takes years to get rid of them.

    • @@nancy6713 When you buy flour and don't put it in the freezer for 3 days the eggs will hatch out and then you will have bugs in it. Freezing kills the eggs so you won't get bugs. The only canisters I will use have tight snap on lids like Tupperware or Rubbermaid.

  • Growing a garlic bulb is easier with baby food jars. The opening is the perfect size and you don't have to use toothpicks. Also take the outer skin off for more shoots to form. Eating the garlic greens like chives in the mild form. Enjoy 😊

  • I like the tomatoe paste wrapped up individually 🤔👍. I usually scoop into a plastic ziploc then make it as flat as possible, then when I need some I have to cut chunks off. But wrapping individually T-spoonful at a time ....AWESOME. 😊👏🏻

  • Favorite Hack is using the "Shaving Cream" on the toilet. I didn't know what to do with my husband's can of shaving cream.   • The cabinet beside the refrigerator might be a Fire Hazard. A few inches should be left on each side and the back of big appliances, in order that air can circulating around the big appliances, so they do not overheat. Also, refrigerator coils should be cleaned by a professional; should you hear a ticking sound, you are past the time for cleaning and it should be done, immediately. I learned the hard way, when my double-door refrigerator stopped working.

  • I’m not sure about the first one with the handle being balanced on some glasses and lighting from both ends as I wouldn’t think that would be very safe and I think you would need to have place underneath to catch the wax. I like the idea, but I think it needs to be fought about a bit more regarding the safety of it..

  • The tires in #7 might get you in trouble. I read one woman that with 1 tire made into a flower bed, they fined her and had her remove it. I can't remember which state. I like what he did but check your area if it will do what they did to her.

  • That one about using Bay Leaves to keep out insects. The eggs of the insects are already in the stored food (how do you think that they get in to closed containers?) So, Bay Leaves do what? Do they repel bugs from getting in ? But what do they do when the food already has them from the store (like in your example of an air and insect tight closure on the jar - it seems insect tight)?
