That yarn they used to make the blanket out of is roving. I highly advise people NOT to use roving cause your blanket won’t last. It isn’t washable either. They make chunky size 7 yarn now that you can buy at your local hobby store that works a lot better and will be washable!
I totally agree! Also, you can use strips of fabric to the same effect. Cut strips 6 inches wide and sew together, end to end. Then make into a long tube, if you desire, or just use as they are. If cotton or cotton mix, do the tube to keep it from unraveling, if fleece or similar fabric, leave alone. It will curl on its own. The last step is the same. You can repurpose towels, old wool or acrylic blankets, whatever you like. And more colors can add interest! Experiment! Old jeans done this way make a lovely rug for cold feet when you wake up. Play with colors and textures while keeping cloth out of the landfill.

I really liked that mat before they covered with stones.
Me too!
Ikr?!
Who here watching these videos but never actually does any of the hacks😁
Of course me
This is so me! Once I went so far as to buy some stuff they used in the video... I still have some really strong glue i dont know what to use for 😂
I don’t do the hacks because they’re a load of bullshit. I watch it to take the mick out of it
It's me here
@@theprofessorjw8174 I always feel a little sad when I see a comment from someone who is going to try a hack. RIP, hack trier.
Love the marshmallow thing ,looks delicious and cute ☺️
I love these ideas. I make many of the things you show us. Thanks for all the ideas I’ve gotten from you over the years.
1:55 I love this walk blanket rack/holder.
Wow... That comforter made of shawl... Awesome. I tried doing bedroom mat with same method .. it came great
They had me on board until they suggested drinking banana broth...
Yeah, that's actually kinda gross and the peel has all this pesticides on it. I don't care if it's labeled organic, they still use something on em.
Im afraid thats called homemade tea.
@@1lillbluepikmin At 00:52 in the video, she shows how to make flavored Banana water ("tea") with Cinnamon that's made in a coffee pot that supposedly helps you sleep. :)
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was ok with banana peels cuz I grow them... but the plates with the tattoos.... naah
8:58 as a guitarist that hurt :((
I understand your pain😰
IM A GUITARIST.I feel pain
Broken guitar then break it even more and never use it again there all better
I literally screamed I can’t even begin to describe this pain
As a not so guitarist that hurts
Can’t use that lip balm in AZ unless you keep it at home!😅
Omg I luv the marshmallow flower thingy!!! Ima make that for my dad! Thx for telling me this trick, blossom! :D
Serena Wong Tell is when your in the hospital xx Most of these hacks seem like they’ll end up with you in the hospital 😂
These hacks are fakes Some(little) are real
Just so everyone knows, the gaps under the doors inside your house are there so your furnace has somewhere to draw air in from. Also to circulate warm air through each room. It's really not a good idea to block them off. Maybe your bathroom while you're taking a shower but it's not good to leave these in place permanently.
I think as long as you don't block them all off you're fine; we have a legit version of the hack for our pantry door only
Good for winter for front/back doors.
I have a closet that is on outside wall and is cold! Shoving a towel underneath helps. This would be better
I only have one door, which opens out into a very busy hallway. The noise can be too much due to a large gap. I currently have a beanbag stopper that works great for blocking sound, but is difficult to keep in place. I'm thinking filling these tubes with beans may be the answer!
@@MommaOsoIrish67 try swimming pool spaghettis

🤣🤣🤣🤣
@Hanna Liljedahl nobody does that.
@Hanna Liljedahl No, you don't.
@Hanna Liljedahl If you really do, what is your reasoning for doing so? It's certainly not beneficial to you in any way.
@@Avaddon911 some people do
The under door draft stopper out of gift wrap roll tubes and tights, that one got me. Wow! Great idea!
That had better been a VERY sturdy bookcase that was turned into seating.
like you could find a stack of perfect wooden crates like that by the curb lmao, Those are expensive to buy and if you did find some curbside they'd be broken, stained or filthy
Thanks for sharing, a lot of great tips. Please keep sharing and ignore the trolls!
Don't be rude...its distasteful...no name calling..people are entitled to their own opinion even when others do not agree.
This is so much more crafty than any art class I’ve sat through!
I know a lot of people hate these and think they're useless, but I find some of it satisfying
If someone breaks your guitar, you'd be too busy trying not to kill something to make shelves
😆, yep.

Walmart, home Depot, Michaels, etc
@@MLG_Kitten Not where I'm at, don't see it

No one going to talk about the tattoo plates and how its not food safe? No? Okay.
They put mod podge on it... I'm pretty certain mod podge is food safe. Or at least there are versions that are. I get what you mean though.
My question is how is the tattoo going so say when u do the dishes??
@@elizabethperkins8436 there are type sof mod podge that are dishwasher safe so you could probably use one of those.
Yes you can't eat on them
@@delilahduckett7448 The mod podge they js food safe and dishwasher safe so, yeah you can.
3:24 when you’re sleeping over at a friends house and they don’t give you a blanket
That make sense.
Those blankets collect all the lint, loose hair/fur, dirt ect. And fall apart in the wash never make to the dryer.

Sadly you can't eat off the plate with MOD PODGE because moisture makes it wet again. If it was for decorative purposes only that would be fine.
It's supposedly non toxic but I agree and wouldn't eat off of it either. After the 4 weeks it takes to cure, it's recommended that an acrylic sealer be used over the modge podge as well but still, I definitely wouldn't use it on anything I planned on eating off of. Maybe as a decorative plate if there were saran wrap on it but I seriously doubt it'd be dishwasher safe 😂
They do make a 'dishwasher safe' modpodge, but I have never tried it.
Actually, mod podge makes a food safe sealer/adhesive now, and they've always made a sealer for projects... It just took me forever to hear about it and then find it! Lol!
I've been trying to find those hold flower decal things.. I love them.. any ideas anyone?
0:55 Ugh I can't sleep it's 12 a.m. now *make this drink* Now it's 3 a.m. yay I'm sleepy

Lol! Glad I'm not the only one!
So we cleaning shoes with bread now? You didn't even specify what kind of stain was on the shoe or what material the shoes was.
Stated suede shoe. White bread.
@@shawnaginther1987 what kind of stain was it though?
@@youmakemehappy7 just dirt. For mud you need to wait until it dries then use a suede cleaner and suede brush. Use a light coloured bristle suede brush for light coloured suede and a metal suede brush for dark suedes.
Also, what kind of bread!?! Was it Wonder Bread? Bimbo? Iron Kids Bread?!
@@shawnaginther1987 I ordered the Salami on rye.

Yeah, then for added thrills they put glue onto fairy lights.
0:27 that is actually a pretty genious idea. Used it and it worked perfect. And no im not some diy idiot, im a gennuine real life guy who has built his own home from scratch and i finds this idea to be really genious and smart!
Vytautas Poška: You spelled genius wrong.
@@arshia4353 Sorry, coming from Slavic country, we are used to saying words that use sequential letter duos, I guess you can call it that. Basically, You can't say letter I and U immediate after each other, you have to add a letter O in between to have a fluent sounding transition. That is why sometimes when I write anything in English I interpret some English words with those letter duos, just because I am so used to it. I sincerely apologize if that somehow hurt you.
Vytautas Poška- Actually, I’m sorry. I didn’t know. Thank you for telling me!

2:48 what they did was scrape off dirt using bread. BRUH
Like they could have just used a brush. 🤦🏼♀️ (Scrub brush or toothbrush)
They used stale bread means the bread no longer eligible to eat
@@DrTNVanna you can toast stale bread, make French toast, crumble it to make breadcrumb coating, etc. There is too much food being wasted as it is without s eating it in shoes.

Thanks a lot! :D Your tricks are very useful! :3 But please don't use bread for shoe cleaning! DX Not cool!!!! :-(

How long do u bake the rossettes for...
When you have the mod podge with the tattoo......what happens when food touches it? The food has mod podge stuck to it.....even when it’s dry
My thoughts exactly Doesn't seem safe - unless those plates are purely used for decor, I don't think it's a good idea to use them with food
Mod podge makes a sealer that 8s food safe and does harden.
Nice sharing
y'all can we talk abt the video effects? they're so good
This video is freaking awesome. On my way to recreate some of these ideas. Thx for the actual "hacks"
I wonder who came up with the stale bread to clean the shoe. Aw shucks my shoe has a spot...look there's some stale bread. I'll use that to wipe off my shoe..😳
I felt a little sick when I saw someone cleaning shoes with bread. My granny, who survived the Blockade, would have hated these people. Bread was a sacred thing for people like her. If you haven't eaten the bread, make croutons, if the bread is stale, give it to people who have chickens, pigs. It was not accepted in my family to throw away bread. But to use it on shoes, it's just beastly. So, I wondered who came up with this idea, but for another reason. 😐
