I remember drawing this concept in 4th grade. Can't believe they actually made it
Better pay you royalties for digging that drawing out of the dump
A masterpiece of childhood engineering!😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
13:18 "Taking pictures with a DS, Now thats class"
Whether or not a future GT-R can resemble anything like this, I'm a huge fan of this concept for what it is. The slab/monolithic look, a throwback to the 80s Silhouette GT-R to me looks amazing. The time and money spent on so much of the finer exterior and interior details is just amazing to me especially knowing that very little if anything of those details will make it into a production car anytime soon but this is the point of a concept.
I really love concept cars, too and far too many cool ones have never been made for actual road-going production. I hope they make this, but with an internal combustion engine or as a hybrid(which is seemingly the way super and hyper cars are/have been going, not fully electric. Also, sorry to be “that guy”, but the Skyline Super Silhouette was not a GT-R. The Skyline GT-R skipped from 1973 to 1989 and as amazing as the SS was, it wasn’t a Skyline GT-R. Sorry, as a fanatic, little details like that get me, I hope the minor correction isn’t taken personally, it wasn’t meant as such. Cheers!
Larry Chen is photographing icons while becoming photography icon 👌🏾
Alot of people in comments dont understand concept cars, they've always been crazy and over the top, thats the point of them
Sadly the point concept cars often made only made reality more disappointing and sad.
@@apophisstr6719 i mean, do you think regulators will let the colorful ideas of designers really fly? No. They concerned more on safety crap, and we can't grudge against them.
Huge thanks to Nissan for allowing Larry to capture the beauty of Hyperforce and Dino had an amazing video as well
That rolling art starts new beginnings for future Nissans. Great imagination. ❤
I hope they keep the rear design and some of the interior if this ever goes into production
If it ever goes into production it's going to have to come with a team of Japanese guys to push it around for you. 😂
This was a fantastic shoot. Damn son, you are one great photographer! Keep up the amazing work.
When a GTR makes sweet love to a Cybertruck.
Alright, now put this and the Hyundai N74 next to each other for a cyberpunky shoot😍
I'm sad for the future. Didn't think I was going to be a back in my day old man, but here we are.
Hey Larry!!! my man! glad to see you welcoming the new GTR!
Dino I appreciate you so much, please collaborate more with Larry, you guys have great chemistry as a duo.
Ty for featuring this car❤❤❤
Awesome shots, truly awesome 🙏
Datsun/Nissan “fan boy” myself. Thanks for the video. Cool pics and cool cars👍👍👍
You must drive a Rouge.
@@LARSENBISQUITS easier to be nice. Give it a try.
I was like, it's cool and all, but when I saw the inside, I was so blown away. Thank you all for showing such a wonderful machine.
Larry has the best Hagerty content.
Nice work man 👌🫡
Sick sick sick!
That is awesome concept
Those handheld light shots look so dope
Wow. Some of the most beautiful photography I've ever seen. Some of the pictures, if it weren't for the fact you were showing you taking them, I would have thought were 100% renders. So perfect. Wow.
beauty of a car
What in the world is that!
Daddy chill~
I always love how Larry takes his shoes off to sit in cars that’s always been a thing I loved about his reviews was the respect to the manufacturer, owner, & the builder involved in his videos
S13 Silvia was Art Force. Now this is Hyper Force. Go Nissan.
Man, the whole concept of light painting is so amazing to me 😍
As a photographer believe me this is a very old technique. Lots of "in camera" fancy stuff can be done with long exposures.
gorgeous! looks like it would be right at home in Cyberpunk
Make it exactly like this. Don't change a thing! 😍
Sick shoot! Not as wild about the blue/red light painting photos, but what a wild vehicle.
Looks so good! This is what EV's should be. And that interior is amazing
11:36 for being such a young guy, I’m impressed you even know that quote from the 80s!
I can’t wait until this drops in GT7 or GT8 😮
its got a nod to Boosozuku car culture too by the looks of its front end, its staggeringly beautiful. in a very industrial built for purpose shape
I thought that was a rendering until I moused over the thumbnail and it moved.... Thumbnail got me in, good job editor!
Great shots. Looks cyberpunk AF.
1:36 NAILED the soundtrack. As ALWAYS! Perfect 80s esk terminator computer robot sound. Love your vids. 1:50 is spooky good retro sound
I want the opposite type of car. A Nismo Nissan Note 4 banger that does +30mpg with a turbo, manual transmission, updated independent suspension.
I'd like new body on frame compact suv with VQ38DD engine that, just like Xterra before - be cheaper alternative to Wrangler, FJ Crusier and now also to Bronco.
During the lightpainting Larry was doing some Light-Fu. 😁🤟
I really like it, Tech-zu-zoku
Finally! Something that rivals the origami ugliness of Elon's cybertruck. 😅
The badge is so sick
The details on this thing are just beyond insanity
Masterpiece:the car the photographer Japanese perfection. End the last was so historical moment like grandma and her beautiful granddaughter
Larry, you and your team do an incredible job, every time. From one artist to another, your butt-kisses are well-deserved! Awesome piece!
Larry, you should do a tutorial on how to do light painting photography. Especially - how do you delete the guy running with the light?? Great photography man!
Check out night photography light painting.
I really like the rear, but the front and side are really awkward IMO. Still, as you say, it’s a concept so doesn’t matter.
Its concept car extreme, any production version would dial everything back from 11.
Wow !!
Larry wielding a double lightsaber looked a bit odd but when I saw the final result I was mesmerized
All cars will be this crazy in 10-15 years, trust me
Looks like Reds car from Motorcity after he starts working for Kane
It looks like the PlayStation 1 version of a GTR
Love the design. Shows the future design direction at Nissan.
God I hope it doesn't
When you said 'Love' did you actually mean 'vomited inside my mouth'?
They got big inspiration from the Cyber truck.
@@StoryDrivenThomas for real, they got inspiration from a block of metal
@@StoryDrivenThomas nissan r31 súper silhouette.
crazy how hideos this car is from some angles and how cool it is from others
Larry, amazing! The outcome resembles Demon Slayer Tanjiro water breathing.
Nissan hired the Cybertruck designer?
My thoughts exactly, Elon must be proud 👏
Pedestrian impact rules mean that front end will never be allowed its like a cow catcher on a train lol
Moving Sculpture 100%
Clicked for the GTR stayed for the Larry
Looks more like a Mitsubishi Starion to me! It's the windows. 😅
There’s a lot of Starion in that, not just the windows. Good catch.
GTR and Cybertruck had a baby
Love the back, love the side, not a huge fan of the Audi Quarto style front bumper...
🔥🔥🔥
That's thermal runaway
Even though im disappointed with Nissan keeping remastering of the R35 im glad they made something where looking forward to than other R35
Futuristic car for the most advanced country in the world!
larryyy hahhaha larrry dont get me going again, how many times do you say oh my god in 1 or every video please stop. long time viewer and fan watching...
Park it next to your cyber truck. I guess origami has taken the world!
The people who write that they are inspired by the cybertruck, do not know anything about the Nissan racing models, you can literally see the influence of the Nissan R31 Super Silhouette, the gold letters on the sides refer to the RS turbo that the R31 had. the sides, and the elongated front is inspired by the front of the R31 Super Silhouette.
Cool Mizutani
Brought to mind the movie Tron.
Im so sad, i didnt get to take a pic with you larry that night... i saw you in one of my videos after looking through the footage :(
The nose shape is nice just don’t care for how long it sticks out and so low. You wonder how they will hold up. Maybe air shocks to raise the front during driving.
Incredible
For the old moter heads...i have a 1965 ford fairlane sport coup 289 4br. With original wire wheel hub caps dad bought new in 65..oil pump went out and was parked..what do ya think?? Never get money back if i reatore it but tough to let go..
I like it. It has Cyberpunk 2077 vibes.
looks like cybertrucks sportcar brother...definitely Elon vibes here.
it would make a great snowplow
So The Batman will be driving a Nissan Skyline GTR I see!
The movie Tron come to life
I want those tow trucks in the US too
Really great shots you should’ve put that light bar underneath the car!
This guy is so CYBERPUNK.
Cool scene but I'm not a fan of low-poly design. It's on the same end of the spectrum as the Cybertruck and that's not a good thing.
9:56 Okay, so I am not the only one.
It feels like the graphics are still rendering
No doubt another well done video, you are a master of your craft. I'm sure the tech is amazeballs, but I'm dropping at 2 minutes and moving on because that thing is hideous.
Why does the front remind me of the rally quattro from Audi?
Love GTR's but they are getting way too BIG. This thing is damn near the size of an SUV. Wish they could make something along the R32 size again. Best GTR ever made....
Gets in the car: This is the future. I truly hope not.
Your loss
This will definitely appear in Batman
"the pictures don't do it justice" bad choice of words from the photographer!
well they dont
No thx it’s ugly
Looks like a dustbuster on wheels. LOL
Man, no photochop here.
Would be disappointed if this isn't in a new Bond or MI movie.
The sports car version of the CyberTruck, which isn't a compliment. I get the Blade Runner Mad Max aesthetic but I am hoping that a 5 year old's drawing of a car isn't what the future holds for car design. There has always been a Manga other worldly component to Japanese car design but I would much rather it follow Japanese love for nature rather than this post apocalyptic war machine look. The interior, on the other hand, is slick.
livin' the dream bruh. absolutely wild skills on the shoot. 🤌🏽👌🏽🔰
Looks like something right out of Akira. I love it.
neat
