Sun west mines has a ton of land just up the road from me.. been here almost 30 years and didn't know this area was there 😐
@@travsteelman sun west has 2300 plus acres of land they mine limestone but they are building a big canal to the Gulf of Mexico but money has run out
@@tapptom interesting. I know gary grubbs used to own it and he sold some of the land to pasco county and they built sunwest park.. there's been talk of a housing development back there for years but I've only seen signs for "sunwest villas" or something like that. There's still a functioning lime rock mine there but there's ALOT of unused land around it.
@@travsteelman I don’t think you will see houses built there for many years to come. The economy not just in the USA but world wide is entering a serious downturn now for years. It’s not gonna get better until the system changes!
@@tapptom agreed.. I think that's the hold up on alot of housing complexes around here.. waiting for the cost of materials to go down and whatnot
