Fascinating Interaction between Two of Africa's big cats. A male Leopard fights off 2 male Cheetah in a head to head over food. The cheetah had made a kill in the bushes to the right hand side. The Leopard came in and fought them both off to steal the kill for himself.
There must be a cheetah cub needing protection. A cheetah has no chance against a leopard. Even lions worry about the strength and sharpness of leopard claws.
Their kill was stolen. All big cats steal from cheetahs. A group of adults will stand their ground against most single predators - or at least try to. Like they’re doing here.
Mostly the sharpness of claws, a Lion's strength is in a league of its own compare to leopards.
When someone else wears the same outfit as you.
😂😂😂😂
From 1:31 You can tell the cheetah is like: This fat brother's strange
Yeah, he is the 'cheetah' that eats at McDonalds, all the time. 😜😜😂😂🤣🤣
Don’t underestimate a brave group of cheetahs!
Such an incredible interaction, sighting and footage
it was orgasmic in nature for me!

That's not a leopard fighting off 2 cheetah's more likely 2 cheetah's keeping leopard distracted so it doesn't find their cubs hiding somewhere nearby
Found the cheetah and leopard expert.
@@MrPancakeRepairman Davlin seems right to some point : these cheetahs are trying to catch the attention of this leopard... Dangerous game since the latter could easily kill the former...
Read the description, it explains that the cheetahs had made a kill and the leopard was running them off of it. The cheetahs were not giving up too easily, but I’m sure they lost because they are such lightweights compared to a leopard.
Cheetahs are no match for leopards unless it's a running race haha
True, but a group of cheetahs is not worth engaging for a leopard. Aside from speed, bravery is their best asset.

they are so similar so they must confuse each other from time to time, thinking they belong to their kind
No they don't. They may seem similar to you, but not to each other.
@@pedroferreiradoamaral7248 exactly what I was going to say, no confusing on their part although the cheetahs were a little brazen I thought
They are very distinguishable by scent... even if they somehow pass the test for same species, they likely wouldn't pass as a pack member and they would chase each other still.
@@SamSung-jv3jm they also don't pass the visual test for same species because they are not. Leopards never live in groups (packs) beyond mothers rearing their cubs. Cheetahs also don't live in groups beyond mothers and cubs and some very small coalitions between males (mostly brothers).

The only reason the cheetah doesn't fled, was they must have had cups hidden, others they would run and never looked back, thanx for correction it was because of their meal... 👌
If you believe the poster person, the 2 male (!) cheetahs had a kill in the bushes and the leopard came and took it.Quite common with all predators.
@@ianrutherford878 ok i beleive it i didnt watched, but i knew something made them come back👌
The way they defend their kills is actually quite brave. One-on-one they are no match for a leopard, but in groups they will stand their ground. Or try to
I think it was the same cheetah that was chased off the first time circled back around. She must have cubs hiding near by or she would of left the area
Ah yes didn't cross my mind it was the same cheetah but with Cubs.
If you look closely one cheetah has collar other does not
Yeah he must be good at taking collars on and off 🤷🏽
Young male Leo
was it a hide and seek game between cheetah and leopard?
Leopard Must've had Cubs eh? Cheetahs looked hungry. I know cheetahs are skinny but those were hungry. Might've been a kill there somewhere?
Read the description
Then word "fight" doesn't belong in the title, don't you think? Try "chase"
Cheetahs so fast it just looks like 2 instead of the one lol
I feel like their are more playing then trying to eat.
Cheetahs looked in need of a good meal 😪
They're skinny to run fast. Just how they're built this wasn't a leopard fighting off tho this leopard was actively hunting these cheetah and likely looking for cubs nearby but the adults are too fast to be caught most of the time and the young are very well hidden
@@theswiftphil8789 i suggest you read the description first before making up stories lol
@@user-uz6io5uf4w buddy if you think even 3 cheetah would ever attack a leopard... you some kinda special needs kid in the biology world. Cheetahs fear and retreat from every other predator in their habitat. This is in part why cheetahs are on a severe decline in population... they can't make kills without being bullies out of it by much bigger stronger predators like leopards lion and hyena. Kinda depresses me yall miss basic facts and favor with the non English speakers inaccurate video thumbnail. Watch the video do these cheetah ever "fight" the leopard? No... they run from it throughout every second of this video... how about use some basic observation before making shit up?
@@theswiftphil8789 why u mad tho? Aww...they’re only playin. 🥰🥰🥰
Poor cheetah, nature forced it to give up lot of strength and ammunition just for extra speed. Escaping cat.
It's a teenage leopard
and those are cheetah cubs
That looks more like a leopard trying to kill 2 cheetah while they run away likely worried for eachother or possible cubs getting caught and killed
The video description says it was over a kill that the cheetahs had made and the leopard was intent on stealing.
Not really… at all.. the cheetahs are very clearly challenging this leopard. He’s in their territory or after their kill.
@@LtotheF where's the attack? Where's the submissive behavior from the leopard? These cheetahs didn't go within 30 feet of this cat are you sped?
Where was the fight? All I see is a bunch of growing and chasing-off.
One lion & all the kids would be gone.keep having your games while you can.
One tiger and lion is gone
Then the ol tiga gates unleash the most powerful predatory creature of the modern earths landmass... siberican tiger... and the lions entire pride has no hope. Tigers much bigger nearly 40% bigger than a lion, stronger and more developed muscles, faster so lions cant run either, and is just a better fighter/killer overall ots a solo hunter so the most efficient kill is what its brains wired to search and locate.
@Levent A. Ok sir 😄. But can you tell me where do you get these types of fact ?
@Levent A.please give me the link.
@Levent A. lions are brave because they live in family . Tigers are not because they live alone .
i think cheetahs can also fight but is to risk against the more agressive leopard
I often wonder if scavengers have learned by now that vehicles (or rather "the big weird things with the awkward pink monkeys inside" as they see it) mean something's going on and free food. I really hope those cheetah bros won't starve to death. Their biodiversity is already pretty terrible, probably the worst of all the large cats.
I wish the cheetah was built like homotherium. Optimal combination of speed and strength. It would then have been able to hold its own.
I didn't know leopards were this slow
The cheetah does pretty well with that unmatched turn of speed. In this video it is just mocking the leopard, no mean runner itself
@@riazhassan6570 Sure, but my point is extremes or specialized attributes are evolutionary dead ends. In the cheetahs case, it's speed comes at the expense of strength and grappling power. In smilodon's case its the total opposite. Unbelievable strength and power but a very slow animal. There is a optimal balance which leopards / jaguars have. Especially jaguars.
@@z1az285 Agreed. Lions and tigers are no slouches, but these two are special-highly efficient hunters; speed, strength, stealth, flexibility, intelligence, sharp reflexes, deadly weaponry, adaptability. The cougar is not far behind. The caracal and lynx stand out among the smaller ones, truly amazing, but then all cats are. We don’t really know enough about extinct species to make comparisons. I always wondered how smilodon went about its business with those enormous fangs, but it must have been reasonably efficient. The bigger the prey, the bigger and heavier the predator, but bigness comes with penalties
Some predators seem to be designed for different niches among prey. Lugging around huge muscles and a lot of weight, as with Bengal or Siberian tigers, some of which are enormous, would be an unnecessary wastage for hunting small animals, but they also go for big prey, other predators, or outsize deer like the nilgai, or whopping bovines like the gaur. Sumatran tigers are relatively small for some reason. The most effective generalists among cats are probably the leopard and jaguar, as you observe
Cheetah my fav cat for speed ! Leopard my fav super smart skilled hunter !
And the last, Lion is your favourite animal for clubbing on a single opponent.
That's not "fight off". It's "chased off"
So the cheetah is basically jumped by all the other cats:(
Not something unusual, cheetahs are born for different things

The leopard knows he can't chased the cheetah's so he run a bit to scared them.
What is the difference between leopard and cheetah, because both look alike.
@@FearHooman Keep mouth shot,don't insult me.🖕🖕🖕🖕
You can tell the difference by looking closely at their body. Cheetahs have black spots all over their body. Leopards skin pattern is different. Futhermore, Cheetahs are slimmer in stature than Leopard. Google a picture of a Cheetah and Leopard and look closely at the pattern of the black dots on their skin and that is how to tell the difference.

I don't Think it would be that easy, another cheetah could attack him from behind
Poor Cheetahs don't stand a chance against 1 Leopard.
They're a weaker cat geared tl chasing faster animals. When running fast even animals larger than cheetahs are easily toppled so they don't need the strength in their hunting
❤️😎😻👍
The footage is good, not AMAZING. I wish KZheadrs would stop diluting the meaning of descriptive words like "Amazing" to try to get more views. There is nothing amazing about a Cheetah running from a Leopard, if they didn't they'd be easily killed! Now if a Leopard ran from a Cheetah, that would be "Amazing"
What is a cheetah doing in the forest? he needs an open landscape
Dragged his kill out of sight. Unfortunately got found
The cheetahs must have cubs near. They rarely try and go after bigger cats. As its very risky. Leopard must have stumbled near the den. He or she looks confused as to what's going on and why these small leopard looking cats keeps pestering him or her.
That's very unlikely because cheetah moms are solitary.
@@raczrobert9826 yes, very unlikely. Cheetahs are solitary unless it's a band of brothers. But females are strictly solitary.

That leopard stole whatever kill the cheetah's were feasting on ... Cheetah's want it back but leopard went back inside bushes to devour the catch.
Where is the fight, poor video 👎👎
Cheetah is not a big cat. It does not belong to genus Panthera
So what's your point? They don't roar, so they aren't technically a big cat. Size wise, they are as big as leopards, maybe 10 pounds less, but not much. Cougars aren't big cats either since they don't roar. And they are bigger than leopards on average.
The simple fact is cheetahs are not built to fight especially against other top predator cats. They did not take on the leopard directly because that would have not ended well for them at all. Same reason leopards do not take on lions because they are over matched. These animals are not like stupid humans.
Click of camera makes the whole process un natural and video becomes joke
Must be young male Cheetahs. Older male Cheetahs don't hang together.
