Today we'll try one of the "less spicy" editions of the viral Korean Buldak Ramen. Is this Cheese flavor actually mild, or is it more spicy than it's marketed to be?

  • I just had this one.. and I came here just to say that it's spicy as hellll.. being an Indian my spice tolerance is next level but this one tore me up.. along with it I also had 2x spicy buldak and trust me when I say this 2x spicy buldak was less spicy than cheese buldak.. I know it's hard to believe but it is what it is 😵‍💫🥵

  • I love buldak but i find the cup kinda confusing the place where your poke wholes to drain the water it doesn't work i tried using a knife chopsticks and ended up making a large cut in the top with the knife and ended up taping it and closing the lid and draining it anyone know how to poke the wholes please tell me

  • After the hot sauce and the powder I mix it up with milk or cream and some extra shredded cheese and it's so good! Rich and flavour full. I'm normally not into spicy food but I can handle it till Carbonara 😍

  • I read the comments and everyone is saying its spicy even if u add a bit, heres a tiny tip so you can mainly taste cheese instead of the spice. You can add a quarter of the packet, or half. If you have any yellow cheese you can add it for the cheese pull and more cheese taste!

  • Try 2x or 3x spicy. I had a phase where I was ridiculously obsessed and ate Buldak Ramen every meal of the day. Sometimes started with 3x spicy in the morning. You do get quite intense stomach aches after some time, though. Eating the really spicy ones just once is okay to handle, but eating nothing but that? I had some horrible, painful nights. 😂

  • I have a pretty good tolerance of spice I usally add the full packet if tried the black one not the 2x but just the black one and I can eat that it’s just it’s very spicy . Yesterday I bought the cheese one because I was curious about it and I checked online to see if it was spicy

  • The first Buldak ramen I tried was really spicy, it was pretty plain and I could only taste the spice, which was not that enjoyable. The cheese ones are very good though if you don't add all of the sauce.

    • It’s not true. Each pack has its own level. Therefore, there are also other varieties on the original black packaging on the packs.

  • I love this brand, but it’s easier when you add the full powder packet, and only 1/2, or maybe 1/3 of the sauce packet. My favorite is the carbo.

It upsets my stomach, and it leads to me not enjoying my food. Why does it feel like you’re offended that my spice tolerance is too low to tolerate the whole packet?

    • @@BlueberryBumblebees Because that’s nonsense for me and not understandable. If you will train, because you learn to eat spicy. Then you take weaker versions first. But then only close 1/3? How long do you want to train until you get to the 3x spicy with the full pack. That doesn't sound like you really want to practice handling the heat. But only to eat a bit of hotness that I can tolerate. But if you say exactly the opposite of that. Then that triggers me. For someone who really loves spiciness and has been building their tolerance for half a decade.

For people who don't have a high tolerance, they'd rather build up slowly. This stuff is pretty spicy for most people, so half the packet is still pretty hot.

  • i highly recommend you try the carbo flavor, its the least spiciest, its creamy and its really tasty. cooking it on the stove enhances the flavor, aswell as adding milk, veggies, sausage and egg! :)

    • The directions say to drain all the water out after you've let the noodles soak in boiling water (covered for 4 minutes I believe). This is so that the spicy sauce can cling to the noodles 👍
