  • When you’re eating spicy food warm water really helps!❤ one time I was eating a chilli and my tongue started burning and my grandpa told me to drink some warm water. (It really really helps if you swivel it in your mouth for a while!❤)

  • 7:04 erica, water makes spice worse because capsaicin (chili pepper extract) is not soluble in water, so it doesn't dissolve or wash away when you drink water. instead, the water can actually spread the capsaicin around your mouth and throat, making the burning sensation more intense and most likely more painful.
