The only positive was the active pressing of the Everton players high up in the beginning of the match when Chelsea were about to take their goal kicks. Otherwise Everton's performance was unacceptable, you could say it was dreadful. We must have much more pace and intensity, and win more 50-50 balls. Most of all we must be miles better with our end product in the final third, with our passing and crosses, and getting more bodies in the box. In the next games the true mentality of our players will be seen: hopefully the real fighting spirit will manifest itself in these positive aspects mentioned above and not in frustration that easily brings silly yellow and even red cards. The next weeks will be the real test of the character of everybody!

As a Chelsea fan, I was shocked at how poor Everton were, I expected after losing points to Burnley and Sheff Utd, that this would maybe be a draw or at least a tight game, you should be worried for the rest of the season, you were not up for it and Luton, Sheff Utd, Notts Forest, and Burnley look like they at least have some fight in them.

Our defence have been our best performers this season & have actually been let down by our attacking players not doing the business at the other end. When have you ever seen a team in a relegation battle having the 4th best defensive record in any league? I’m hoping defensively it was a one off & our attacking players need to get the finger out. If Beto scores at the other end & we go 1 up it actually could have been a different game. Need a major reaction on Sunday. They owe the fans big time

After this season i don't think anyone will be making a case for dyche being one of our better managers, but he for sure isn't the worst. This side is gutless and is underperforming their gd by a ridiculous amount. That isn't dyche's fault. Unfortunately I think going down will be best for us (unless we get new competent owners) because we just can't compete at this level and won't be able to for the foreseeable future. We've shot ourselves in the foot with this stadium. Hopefully it pays dividends in the future. regardless, im confident dyche will be able to keep us up. I just don't think our future looks pretty either way

Chelsea have an amazing squad who clicked last night. We have a crap squad that couldn’t get near them skill wise. Dyche you can’t keep setting us up to be hard to beat because once we go behind we have nothing.
