  • Really good review. Only that you're showing us the space in the second and third row and how much space there is when you move the second row forward but you make no reference to your height so it's a bit difficult to guage the kind of space you're talking about. That is the one point reviewers always reference their own height and now I see why.

  • GWM should make the 20 inch wheels an option. After market wheels may affect the warranty ? Look forward to your driving video.

    • Thank you for your feedback. Non-genuine wheels will usually only affect warranty for items directly impacted by their fitment. Agree, 20” wheels could look awesome.

    • I doubt putting a 20" wheel on it will effect the warranty. I'm looking at buying one of these and a 20" wheel and AT tyre upgrade will be one of the first things I will do.

  • The only problem is the seat you need to fold to get in the third row is on the drivers side. You will be getting into the third row into traffic.

  • I wonder if the spare is matching mag. Shame the reverse mirror isn't connected to a camera also. Maybe throw a tape around the boot for rough guide on dimensions (5 seat config) to see what size fridge/drawers might fit Look forward to your fuel use stats

  • I think it is underpowered for a large 4WD, that would also be used for towing. Overseas model have a larger engine.

    • We are yet to do a towing test, however compared to the diesel Prado it probably won’t be much different. The instant torque of the electric motors from the hybrid system definitely change the feel

  • 7 years warranty unlimited kms and 7 years roadside assist with 7 years capped priced servicing PLUS 8 years battery warranty unlimited kms is soo hard to say no to!
