  • The problem with putting your notches on the bottom logs is this gives the water a place to pool up and cause rot that's why the notches are usually on the log above and rolled over to sit on the log below.

    • Well before men had tarps sod roofs keep family's dry for hundreds of years. Although that's not how to build a sod roof the way they did in reality. Split shakes made of pine are better and then clY tiles.

  • I have to admire the Russian males.... They R actually men that can do things even with cheap chinese tools too!!! Hats off nobody in America wants war with Russia... I would rather hang out & help these guys.... Somebody pick out a real Russian woodsman quick so I can send some Russian woodsman a Christmas gift....   • А зимой тоже на улице планируете раздеваться (а особенно одеваться)? Надо было хоть полметра на предбанник отвести. И, кстати, не забудьте и крышу бани изнутри продихлофосить - вы не везде сняли кору с жердей потолка, там живности будет зимовать тьма. Разогреете потом потолок - попадает на голову :)
