🥒 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.
If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

Australian aboriginals had tools, weapons, medicine, nomadic housing, art and many other things far beyond fire. There's probably a good chance that aboriginal society discovered fire before people with light skin even existed.

  • Amazing work, Sonny! I really love the way you explore dietary variations across countries, and how major food producers play a role in the supply chain, plus what they think about their relative industry. The way you respect, but curiously inspect cultural differences is what makes your show stand out. The way you joke around makes the content much more palatable and enjoyable to consume! PS: The farmer and his wife seem to be such genuinely happy, humble and energetic people! There aren’t much people like that out there :) Again, BEFRS is the best 👍

  • Just stumbled across your channel. Love your content. I would love to be able to travel the world and do what you do. Have always loved trying street food when I've been able to travel. New subscriber here. I love that you are non judgemental about why different cultures eat what they eat. Not everyone can be lucky enough to choose. Vegan, vegetarian is easy when you can afford to choose that.

  • Emu have such a vast array of useful resources. I used to work at a copper wire plant. The very fine copper dust and sludge that the machines produce would cause you to get copper rash. Emu oil is what was given to you by the onsite doctors to draw out the copper and help with itching.
