TEST NOTES: - The standard drops (back, corner, and face) are conducted from 1m onto a concrete block. - The "bonus" drops are meant to test impact and shock resistance, therefore are conducted from 1.45m onto a smooth steel surface. - The bonus "bonus" round is conducted from 1.45m onto a concrete block. - The footage of the Note 20 Ultra was from our previous drop test.

@@user-km2yr7oj6q the notch is a preference and in fact, I love the notch. 60Hz yea, but it has more colors and higher brightness which means better HDR. Expandable storage has never been a thing on iPhones and never will be. And what do you use expandable storage for? I’m really curious if you even use it. And what’s wrong with iOS? At least I can use the same phone for 6 years and still be on the latest software if you catch my drift.

I know they are durable but i'm still putting on a case! lol
Nobody wants ugly scuffs on their phone's frame. A case is a must but a screen protector is not needed.
I just use a ring instead of a case, don’t want to hide the beauty of my phone.
He said get a case from i blason , and its about the victus and ceramic shield not the back
Same here case and screen protector because I don't want to have to replace my $1400 Note 20 Ultra and $1200 iPhone 12 Pro Max
For Samsung it's necessary just for the functionality of the phone. My fat hands cant operate the damn thing without a case, soooo many accidental touches
Real life test, phone slides of a couch and drops on a wooden floor, front and back glass cracks. The odds.
Now we speaking truth
@@lazertag720 i’m assuming because it’s hotter, they don’t use the phones normally & heat them up before the test so i’m guessing that a hotter phone is more likely to crack.

@@bajwaxsaab6678 these last words that's what she want to hear.
@@Mlordy No I really don't think that's it, phones stay at around 20-25°C (god knows what that is in Fahrenheit) and in your hand they can get up to 35-40°C, 40°C only while doing something processor intensive. We're talkin about materials that start to get malleable at hundreds of degrees or more (depending on the material) so that temperature change will not affect its structure much at all. And by the way materials become more brittle and prone to cracking or breaking as the temperature goes down, so having your phone in your hand for a while before it fell would actually help, not by much, but it certainly wouldn't be worse.

It’s amazing how those huge phones can survive those drops. They are heavy and basically full glass. Few years later phones shattered like crazy. Yes, the “scratch resistance” is lower, but I can easily trade that for the increase drop resistance. You can always use screen protector and chance them often to get rid of scratches. It is much easier to do than repair the whole display which could shatter even under the protector back in the day.
