Fighter in the Red Corners amount of take down is so IMPRESSIVE. And her ground game and control of her position is crazy mind blowing. I've never seen a fighter in women's division so good both at defense and offense. So sad she lost.
Her control was crap.
I think she lost to a man. No way that dude who won , is a real biological born female . Either that , or she started taking testosterone . Let's face it , with the exception of the UFC which has banned transgenders , from competing in female divisions . The trans have pretty much open season , in the many of the other MMA organizations. And don't get me started on some of the overseas kickboxing / mui Thai competitors. I've lost count at how many transgender males , I've seen competing in female divisions . Just so disgusting and unfair . The other ( real female ), was winning I thought and in control , especially with those throws and submission attempts .
She was excellent at the takedowns, looks like Judoka. However, she did not have the capability to finish when she clearly had about 3 submission oportunities, lack of Jiu Jitsu training maybe. I did think she was going to win and after the staredown I was on her side.
She had Rousey’s style. Limited boxing skills with a strong judo background.
That’s really not how it works, she didn’t tap out, as the other girl thy got tossed around like a efffn rag doll. She was in desperation throughout the whole match, in worse situations and the ref didn’t stop it. Favoritism with the ref or bought out.
Such a bummer Zouak couldn’t finish. Those Judo throws were so clean. It’s been a while since there’s been a good successful Judoka in MMA.
She is reminiscent of Rhonda Rousey. Even her striking was like that of rousey.

@@henryrodgers1752 She's got the same background (elite Judo) ... and the same flaws (crappy boxing). But no doubt she's a fighter : she's really going at it and I love it. I don't know where she's at right now. Hope she learnt not to rush in every situation.

Yes, I tried to convince others the same. They didn't know how difficult it was to flip someone about a dozen times and the brunette took the the butch down several times. The judges should be fired !!!

When this fight popped up on my feed I was going to watch the first minute and ended up watching it twice. One of the best fights I've seen in a long time.
There was more back and forth between these two female fighters then I've seen in most male fights in the same weight class. Awesome job ladies! After watching this I'm checking out more of the female fights. Far more exciting than I anticipated!

Giving up full mount was a critical mistake. She dominated the fight. Sad to see her lose but props to the winner.
Yeah I still give the fight to her even though she lost. I also think the ref jumped the gun a bit prematurely. Zouak won that fight hands down. Gotta give Lino her props too. She escaped from multiple arm bars that most wouldn't have been able to.

I agree. When you have the mount you must keep it or advance to take the back. The armbar is an inferior position if you don't have it locked down. I would keep the mount and submit from there or ground and pound. The dude showed heart and stayed in there until he got the win.
Absolutely. She could have maintained that mount position and either finished from there or just stayed there till the bell. That arm bar attempt was an unnecessary risk especially given that Lino had already been in an arm bar and showed the flexibility to handle it.
What a performance by both the boy and the girl!

Zouak is an actual martial artist. Doesnt need all those flashy muscles which do nothing against actual fighters. Technique > Muscles.
What a fantastic fight! Love to see the Sportsmanship between the contestants after the fight. I hate unnecessary drama in sporting contests... Just strap up and go do your thing, whether it is in the ring, on the court, or on the field. PROVE you deserve to be called the best, in front of the general public. This is where Honor and Respect are built.
It's a girl fight, either would be totally outclassed vs a man or even teen boys. No honor and respect in any or this - not what women are designed for.

Zouk dominated this fight and should have won, but she burnt herself out throwing Lina around so much. Credit to Lina for hanging in there.

These ladies both have heart. And I appreciate the sportswomanship displayed by both fighters.
That ending was called early. She was actively defending herself, not helpless, and was in no apparent danger. None of the blows she was taking were landing flush, at least from the camera angle. She could have continued to defend herself for quite some time, unless Lino had somehow disabled her defensive elbows or had made some shots count. Mostly, the blows LOOKED like a lot, but landed mostly on her arms, not her head.

What fight were you watching? Slow down the speed. The punches we were able to see (once the camera angle changed) were mostly head strikes. Like they said: if you want trauma, that's on you
Zouak was out of gas at the start of round two. Then she was flat on her belly and taking a barrage of head-shots with over a minute forty left in the round. It was a good stop.
I agree 100 percent. She wasn’t hurt. That’s a tough judo girl. She was gonna post up and shake the other girl off. Second round was 10-8 in my book.
Fantastic fight from two beautiful, talented, gutsy fighters.
There was no loser here. Just endurance, heart, skill, and freak luck. Easily one of the best fights in a long time. Warriors both.

She was laying on her right arm. The right side of her head was getting pounded. She was barely blocking the left side it was a good stoppage or she would of been out cold a few more shots

That judo throw landed every single time
Problem is she didn’t know what to do after that. Had dominate position and power. On coaches really that they didn’t come up with good plan for after takedowns. Punches and arm bar attempts were weak. Shoulda just went for chokes or let her up and keep slamming down over and over.

She who, state their name or description. The butch hair blond cut looking one should have lost. It's hard to do that. She the brunette flipped the blonde at least 12 times and took the blonde down several times. The blonde had no real style or technique. Most judges look for those amazing flips and grappling that the brunette did.

@@theTrend7 Really , given how butch they look . And how many transgendered now competing in female sports and MMA . And you're not even curious to entertain the possibility , that it might not be a real biologically born female . There was a male ( transgendered to female ,) competing in female divisions , in the UFC about 10 years or so ago now . They were dominating for awhile as well. One of his opponents , a highly regarded female fighter , was knocked unconscious and sent to hospital . Exclaiming days later , that she had never been hit so hard in her life . The transgender was eventually defeated in a epic fight , by one of the top females who seemed out to send her own message of solidarity , with all true females . And this set the transgender competitor on a up and down roller coaster , bitching at everyone in the business . Eventually, the UFC did the right thing and created separate divisions , for transgenders . You should be able to find these videos on here , if you do a search .

I think the Stoppage was premature... could've given her longer considering, she wasn't out and was still responding, the lioness really won that fight if not for giving her back up on the ground ,congrats
the result was kind of a bummer, but I don't think she could get away from the last pounding so I think it was a good call for the ref stopping it
I agree. The ref was within the rules to stop it but those punches were really weak and weren’t doing anything so it could’ve went a little longer. It’s not like it needed to be stopped to protect the fighter.
She needed to get back to her back then work to escape from mount.

The victory was a 1000% deserved... No flips, techniques and other tricks worked, meaning that the amount of work put into the bout by Lino eclipses Zouak's significantly. In other words - "Your Judo is no good here!". Hat's off to Lino! Deserved win, hands down!

One of the best women’s mma fights I’ve ever watched.
I expected red to get flattened bc she kept walking into punches, but she shocked me with those take downs. More punching power, and this fight was over within the first 30 seconds. Arms wide open, she ate 2 punches that could've been bad @ around 15 & 28 seconds.

Was really rooting against Lino from her face off performance, but she earned that victory and showed sportsmanship during and after, so, redeemed. Zouka had amazing techniques but illustrated the risks of fully committing to an uncertain submission. Great fight, respect to both.

If Zouak improves her boxing game, both offensive and defensive, she'll be unstoppable.
The winner actually took an ass whooping and got schooled. She won by a technical position. Fight stopped. She has good sportsmanship and respect though.

@@tiffb8221 I meant in relation to the big butt on the other one🤣🤣🤣🤣. Seriously both were bad and this was a heck of a fight. Could’ve went either way but the one couldn’t finish once she slammed the other. If she’d have had some better submissions or ground and pound she’d have stopped it early

The grappler lady was hurt with anything. She got any attempted takedown but couldn't finish. The striker had zero grappling, but knew a little more what to do. Props to both, I hope they improve a lot and get higher places.

The short-haired girl is lucky. The long-haired girl was clearly the better fighter. Good contact and was concentrating on the opponent. It sucks that she missed out on seeing the reverse to the grapple.

She loses the whole fight.....until she gets her opponent in a terrible position for the win. Not very often do u see the person that is on the receiving end of about 10 takedowns win the fight.
