    • yeah Angela Lee just ran out of heart and fighting spirit on that one. The Lee family better do a better job of cherry picking opponents and the timing of when and where the fights occur. Also maybe take some matches in a roped ring rather than a cage depending on the opponent. Take a page out of the coward blueprint of a Sugar Ray Leonard type career. I'd personally rather see an honorable fighter give it their all as we see here and lose than what I consider to be corruption.

      @jtoddjb@jtoddjb2 жыл бұрын
    • Coward blueprint of Sugar Ray ??? Man what are you talking about? His fights didn't look like he was a coward to me.

      @johnryan9626@johnryan96262 жыл бұрын
    • @@johnryan9626 No the fights certainly were not. However the opponent, the timing of when that opponent would be most vulnerable, the ring size, the location, even the judges and refs, were all carefully selected to get a fight with the popular Ray Leonard. Me and a lot of other fight fans from the 80's have always felt Leonard laid out a very cowardly career and only made moves when he was sure to win. Such as dodging Marvin Hagler for years claiming a retina problem and even going so as to pretend to become Hagler's friend to gain inside information on when he should be able to fight him which is exactly what he did. Look into what led up to the Hagler fight, and definitely the timing of the "no mas" fight (2nd Duran fight) as just some examples of what I've considered to be a "cowardly blueprint" that a lot of fighters followed after

What about Masvidal hitting Askren a few times after Askren was clearly knocked out from the knee strike, should Masvidal been DQed?
