  • Adding onto the Coachella vs Super Bowl thing. Most of the people going to the Super Bowl are likely older who have good jobs vs most of the non- creator demographic of Coachella being in our 20s and just trying to survive and don’t have money to throw into a festival. I’m from Chicago so we have lalapaloza and basically everyone there is 18-30

  • Laura, girl, before I start I have to say that I love you and I’ve been a subscriber for many years so please don’t take what I say next as shade. I have a genuine, legit suggestion. Why don’t you guys move the monitor right next to the wide shot camera so that when you keep looking at yourself it looks like you’re looking at us? Honestly you look at the monitor to look at you more than you look at Manny and I KNOW you’ve always done it and its not new and it’s amazing that you’re confident and feeling yourself but it would be nice to see you not doing it every few seconds. The audience may feel even more connected if you moved the monitor. It is a little distracting. All that aside, this is my fave podcast and I cannot miss an episode!! You guys do an amazing job and I’m so glad you have continued. Just you and Manny eps (or Tyler) are the besttttt!!! Love ya Fool fam ❤

    • My niece is 4 years younger & although I didn't actually raise her (it was the early 90s so I pretty much did) the longest we've ever gone w/o talking would b during a fight where we both had feelings hurt. I can't imagine going almost 2 months w/o hearing from her! I definitely would b calling 4 a wellness check, busting down doors, ect

  • I think the demographic is also different for Coachella & SB. Coachella is “younger” people I believe whereas for SB atleast from what I saw it was a lot of older people like maybe 40+ so usually more established & financially stable but I could be wrong either way those tickets were alllll crazy lol

  • Masseter Botox for grinding and clenching has been a lifesaver for me. I also wear my mouth guard because you will still clench and grind some. Just not as rough lol

    • @@user-qb2veYeah I mean within 48 hours the muscle is definitely not as active. You’ll notice less tension within the first week. And an added benefit is it will slim your face since most people who clench and grind have larger masseters that bulge out! The downside is it takes about 60 units since it’s a large muscle. Here in TX my first round was $600 and should last about 4-6 months.

  • Omg I completed my Invisalign treatment in September, and since then, I've only been wearing retainers at night. Unfortunately, I've been clenching my jaw so intensely that I've already gone through two retainer trays because I've completely destroyed them.

  • Hey Manny! Dental professional here 🙋‍♀️🦷 I definitely do not recommend veneers on the bottom, especially if you grind/clinch! You would just grind them right off or grind them away anyways so that doesn’t make sense that they were trying to sell you on that but of course that’s the thing… Just trying to get some more money out of you. Definitely go with a top and bottom custom fit retainer that way you can keep those pretty teeth straight. You can definitely do a night guard as well, they are a lot thicker and more durable I just personally like the retainers better because they’re not as bulky in your mouth while sleeping. If you do go with a night guard(occlusal guard) definitely don’t go with an OTC one get a custom fit one from your dentist. Lastly, as a girly who had Invisalign myself for 2 to 3 years(on and off because I hated wearing mine too Laura lol) I have also wore holes in my retainers like you Manny right where my canines sit due to clenching/gringing at night due to anxiety🙃🥲 it’s actually very common and a normal thing. Just make sure you get new ones to protect those pearly whites! Hope this helps, love y’all and the podcast! 🩷
