The 2023 US Open main draw runs from August 28 - September 10 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 143rd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and Poland's Iga Swiatek claimed the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first US Open title, with Alcaraz winning his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek winning her third Grand Slam title. LOL, It goes to show that whoever edited this wanted Siegemund to win. If no score was shown on the bottom you would've thought Gauff lost the match.
These highlights I thought coco lost it was literally like all of siegmunds winning shots
The highlights do not reflect the outcome. Whoever did the highlights should work on their biases
Siegemund is clearly a very talented player, but this highlight reel shows none of her foul play. Constantly taking longer than allowed with her serves and only receiving one time violation, sitting down when not allowed to and never being reprimanded by the umpire. She clearly knew there was no way she was beating Gauff through skill alone.

Siegemund was enjoying the crowd when she was ahead. Look at her at 7:48 & 10:10, as she was winning. But during her post-game interview, she claimed the crowd was so mean and nasty to her. But she was the one who turned on everybody when she lost! And listen at 5:20/15:34 how supportive the crowd was, and there were many more times throughout!
Both phenomenal athletes but Coco clearly played stronger and had better sportsmanship about the rules.

The commentator chirping for the German Player seemed to quiet down once Gauff got back into the match. That commentator is American, interesting. We don't root for the USA anymore.

I often wonder about Mary Carillo and Lindsey Davenport is no better...Carillo is the most biased commentator of them all...she had a problem with Serena and now the same with Coco...I always wonder how many grand slams she won if any.

BIASED Highlights...German Made?
Yeah she won, but a three-setter in R1 does not bode well for going deep / winning the title. There's still not enough depth and pace on Coco's shots. She kept hitting right into LS' strike zone instead of forcing her farther back. She also moved way too early and ended up in no person's land which allowed for easy wrong footing and passing shots. This should've been a two set victory. We'll see how her run goes... EDIT: She problem solved, got her forehand back, and retrieved very well in order to win her first Grand Slam!

@@mrsa6925 What? Child, please. Coco, still had the same issues when she dropped the first set in the final. Her shots weren't deep enough and she wasn't accelerating on her forehand. Then she problem solved. I stand by my comment. Someone posted a reply before you, but then they deleted it.
