That is sooo true. Like when every fiesta, almost every house has a karaoke. Not to mention beer pubs/gardens, but if they don't have karaoke, they probably have live band and everybody sings... :)

I think Filipino singers are the most educated when it comes to their vocals. It's sounds like so perfect.
The difference I have found among all the singers from the Philippines is whether they are singing solo, duets, or group, they seem to have a culture of total commitment to the song, music and lyrics. The competition is fierce as is the judgment, apparently. The question seems to be, “Did I feel that?”
Katrina's runs are magical and her voice cuts through like sunshine breaking through the clouds on a rainy day!😁❤

Among established Filipino singers here really has no "ego" among each other. We're just like "if you have it (good voice) use it, share it, show it. Singing here for us is "universal" wether you have a good voice or not if you like to sing do it.

I think what allot of people forget when listening to Filipino singers is that English is their second language in which makes what they're doing so much more remarkable. I have seen many of them perform songs in their first language and it is even more amazing.
They give justice to the song! Waaaaay more better than the original! Insanely powerful voice!

Bugoy note is a mix with emotion and cry note! Almost a pain you kept but it escape from the cracks n it shows..and the down riff was almost catching it in the wave and instead of something painful it ride off in the horizon on a sunset..

It's in the genes of being a Filipino coz I also sing to but the tone is smooth. When I was a child my mom would sing random and I'll join her to sing too and the whole family joined some of them recorded this and post it in Facebook and it went viral so fast that the neighbours would ask questions for some reason in my thoughts: wtf is going on making them sing is just commonly necessary.

Katrina's version is the most beautiful cover that I've heard. Very similar to Mariah's voice. I've watched this a couple of times. The birit was not used here just to show that she can sing high notes instead she sang beautifully with the appropriate birit in the song showing off her vocal prowess and her talent as a singer. Very beautiful ❤ it.

Proud to be filipino here. In every filipino family, it is impossible that no one can sing.... It is just natural talent for us... but not all is modified or developed... maybe because of lack of training opportunities.
