It still exist but in baseball. The city is on a rapid decline. 1. Twenty teenagers smoking weed after school with no fear of getting caught by the police. 2. Illegal weed spots. 3. Illegal E-Bike all over the streets and sidewall. 5. Stores closing because of shoplifters. 6. No punishment in segration for teenagers on Rikers Island. Yet, if I go over 25 MPH I gets a ticket while an E-Bike zooms past me and I am the trying to get to work to pay for Insurance, Registration and Vehicle Inspection.
In an effort to be more fair, criminal justice laws have been changed over the last 10 years or so. Unfortunately, the changes have resulted in more crime, assault, and more deaths. The lenient laws are going to have to change back. Just a shame all the way around. Apparently, some people can’t be redeemed.

These animals are 'vey' aware that you can beat up cops and you'll be out in a matter of hours. The video of the 2 officers making an arrest on a dispute were jumped by a group of these low-life's beating on the cops who were on the ground attempting to put cuffs on this guy, then were attacked by a mob of thugs, punching and kicking them. One guy just nonchalantly walked over to one of the officers during this melee and I watched as he kicked one officer in the head. The few that were caught and arrested were released just hours later, smiling at the reporters and giving them the double finger. And these were ILLEGAL immigrants btw. These animals are emboldened because they know they'll be out the same day. Numerous Officers have been assaulted, actually beaten up. If they aren't even safe what chance do the rest of us have of not eventually becoming a victim?
