As a casual gamer who also needs my keyboard to be usable for work, I got the Deathstalker V2 Pro TKL. The white colorway is gorgeous and the typing experience is great. The stabilizers can use some lubing though as that rattle can be quite annoying.
Our man, frankp!! Huge thanks for bringing up the amazing content and ranking ZX75 on the God Tier line! Cheers to Frankp!
Id love to buy one, however unfortunately you guys seem to not offer german keyboard layouts. Maybe that would be something for the future? For now wooting does this and thats why they win for me
Great short review and comparison, thanks.
As someone who used laptops exclusively for PC gaming the K100 Air is the perfect keyboard for me on my desktop. The low profile is the closest think I've used to a laptop keyboard. Most other keyboards felt big and clunky to me
Can we get a mice one ?
We need that fr
@boardzy
Fax
We need that for headsets but you have to consider more factors when ranking headsets
Yeah man
Frank I’m loving your content keep up the amazing show. Your setup inspires me.
Somethings you determine their value on their current offerings and some based on their past offerings (Logitech F tier price change, vs Asus Falchion old v vs new v). Consistency is key.
this is the one i was looking for pal. 6 months is kinda meh, but you answered every question i had and covered the main layout of my choices.
As someone who bought the Hyperx Origins Core Aqua only becuase of your recommendation and still uses it to this day I coudn't be more gratefull. Love the content Frank 🙌
I bought the Mountain Everest Max on your previous review, and it has become my daily driver. Also, Mountain is still creating add-ons for the Everest Keyboard, such as more macro pads, and from ordering to receiving my product from Austria to Canada took only 7 or 8 days. However, it is still quite expensive and that review which influenced my purchase was two years ago, so I am in full agreement with your ranking.
i shot for the Everest Max (cherry red) during black friday last year. it was for $215 AUD, about half the price as its usually $445-ish. absolute steal! problem is modding the thing is like disarming a bomb... the tolerances are super tight and many daughter boards connected to the main pcb which is why it is modular. out of the box, it sounds like sh!t compared to my brother's custom keyboard.
Really enjoyed this video format! Especially the trash talk, lol
digging this new style of video instead of reviews which I like those as well but this is a good fresh take!
Exactly what I was looking for not even joking THANK YOU!!!
I was looking for a keyboard and then this video came out, great timing and even better content. Thank you so much for this Frank ! Keep up the awesome videos.
Hey! I have a wild question for the considering the context of the video. Are you planning on reviewing the RODE Streamer X? I just got it and find the hardware very cool, but the software is very much lacking. I'd love to know your opinion!
You should review the Rosewill K81 Neon RGB it's a very underrated keyboard. Super sturdy construction and amazing lighting. I'm gonna switch the keys with PBT key caps though.
If you had to choose between the Wooting and the iQunix, which would it be? Does one edge out the other? (Great overview of all these keyboards)
I have to say if you want a full sized Keyboard The corsair K100($218) and Razer Black widow v4 ($229) both felt and worked better for me then the Asus Claymore($217). I dont see a full sized keyboard being a problem like Mr. Frank here. If youre looking at raw performace those boards are no doubt A to A+.
Insane thank you so much for this, helpful!
I use GMMK 2 full size at work and another GMMK 2 65% for gaming. I just play Rust, so no need for all the special features of custom key stroke distances and that stuff. Yet it is a good mechanical board you can customize to get that good thoc feeling. Added a wrist rest to help with the higher profile.
Id like to see you review the Nuphy Field 75 Just got mine and im really impressed.
Your thoughts on the Corsair K70 MAX with the MGX switches?
Feeling good watching this tier list after I already order the Wooting 60he 😁
Where would you put the HiGround Basecamp keyboard? I just bought the Amethyst one with the TTC White Flame switches and it should be here in a couple days
That keycap set on your wooting is fire. Love my wooting. Hoping they come out with a TKL
What about the Dygma Raise ? Did you tried it ?
I think it would be cool if you can review other companies such as that of Fantech and Royal Kludge with their keyboards.
Razer DeathStalker V2 Pro one of the best purchases iv ever made. Yes its pricey but it has everything i wanted. Wireless, very good battery, good switches, its full sized.
I'm pretty casual and I've been using the Nuphy Air 75 and absolutely love it! The most satisfying keyboard I've ever used
Keep making the tier lists!
What is the model of your headset when you were filming? It has great mic. wow
I have a DeathStalker v2 TKL for the usual desktop stuff and plan on getting a wooting alongside for the gaming stuff so i think I am covered in the best way possible imho
Appreciate Frank’s input - but how does GMMK and Keychron make A tier with +6ms latency? Wooting and Steelseries deserve S tier. K100 OPX and k70 Champion TKL OPX A tier in my personal opinion. Gaming pov not a typist although I can hit a solid 130wpm with the OPX. Corsair would be S tier if ICUE didn’t suck - and k100 specifically if the cable wasn’t so bulky and the ICUE wheel wasn’t so limited in use. I’d prefer to just lose the wheel all together tbh.
good job on the tier list👍 btw i have a suggestion, a ''Gaming Keyboard Tier List! (Top 30+ Ranked)'' without price in mind could be handy for some people because prices could change.
I have a G915, i love it, but hate that it's low profile lol I bought my wife the G715. I have been using it and I love, just wish it was a full size keyboard lol. I need a keyboard that is full size like the G915 but has the chunkyness of the G715. Any suggestions?
Curious where you would have put the Logitech g915 if you had included it.
Are there any stock gaming keyboards with tactile switches that are really quiet? Thanks for help!
Looking to upgrade my Rocket Aimo 100, I'm looking at the SteelSeries Apex Pro (Full size which has the USB passthrough). How would you rate that at today's prices (£160). Not that I am also running on Mac OS which is software supported by SteelSeries so taking that into account on keyboard choice.
When are you going to review them headphones? Also I see you swapped the pads already, what are those!
Almost everyone who I've seen review the Wooting has said how meh it was and needed to be modded a lot to make better. interesting you put it up there but have the Azoth in A-tier..?
You jave the zx75 as S tier but how does that one compare to the iqunix OG80? Is the OG80 just as good as the zx75 or is it not as good?
Where will you put the Logitech 915 tkl the low format 1 I’m thinking of getting it? Hopefully you can answer ❤
I love my GMMK pro, but I’m still bitter about the quality control of their stabilizers. Had it since launch, and they’re still ridiculously sticky and broken. Should’ve been a recall.
thanks, this is very insightful.
I'd keem Nuphy on the radar. The Air line is more in line with the Fnatic keyboard or the G915 slim profiles and the Halo line is more traditional. All hot-swappable, good-looking, moddable but looks like there's no need to mod them. Ah, and they're wireless. I'm considering pulling the trigger on the Halo75.... but I'm on the fence bewteen the white and black variants. (Add some WoB keycaps to the white one and you'll get a sleek stormtrooper look you can turn into a 501st look by adding some blue lights).
Allright so if i would like to try out some different switches to see what i like what would be my best method to do so? I am not that knowledged about that because i never really lookind into it but i am looking to up my keyboard game and see what suits me best
I agree on Iqunix boards all the way. I have the L80 cosmic traveler and loved it so much I bought three other boards from Iqunix. No mods needed
Would you recommend the wooting 60he for battle royale games such as PUBG or warzone?
The Wooting 60HE is the nicest thing I've ever bought for my PC. Straight out of the box it's just perfect. They've nailed it. From the feel to the sound without any mods even. Highly recommend it. I also switched for the first time from full size to 60% and had so much fear since I use arrows and numpad etc a lot but with function layers and double keystroke features from Wooting I've had no regrets at all. I love it so much.
Love my wooting but the switches were dry as a bone and not factory lubed at all. only on the stabs. Definitely lube that baby up. Did the whole lube job, tape mod, burger mount, aluminum case. It's 100 percent better than stock.
The sound of the Wooting 60HE out of the box belongs in the absolute trash tier.
Where to get one?
As a 75% lover, ROG Azoth for me. Closest thing to a custom kb I ever had. I really don't like the strap on the wooting I hope they remove that ugly feature so I can try it eventually.
@@BrawndoQC It literally has a button on the strap.
In your tier list in which position the HyperX Alloy Elite 2 would be?
you are one of the best recourses to find peripherals. thanks for always giving us links. and imo very useful opinions.
id be really curious to know where you put a few of the other ASUS boards if you included the other ones to this list and also the Blackwidow V4 TKL the same as the pro V4? Im really thinking ill get a few of these for the collection because im a fanboy, much more than i am into custom keyboards. And i think i might get the ROG Azoth first to have a compact option. Although ive been considering several ROG boards, the ones with the works obviously. really think i have to get at least one of the Razer V4's. And lastly i cant really explain how i have this itch to get a corsair board but its gotta be their best option. They disappoint me with their quality of rgb sometimes and i just want to get an option of theirs that i can truly be satisfied with. If i can check those boxes off than i think i will have satisfied my new setup keyboard itch.....now on to the mice, and speakers.
My favorite is my Steelseries Apex Pro TKL (2023). The best gaming feature is the dual-activation mode for the OmniPoint switches. For example, I set the W key for walk at 1.0 and run at 3.0. All the main keys can be dual-activated. My keyboard of choice for work/long typing sessions is my. Keychron K7 Pro with Gateron Brown switches. Stellar video, mate!!
apparently they are working on their version of wootings rapid trigger, so should make it even better
@@iSaturnUK That would be reason enough for me to upgrade!
Alex pro tkl or black widow v3 tkl or hyper alloy tkl?
@@iSaturnUK yep, they did it a couple of months ago. Easy A+ tier keyboard because of the fact it is tkl alone.
Any cool tech under 50 this month?
What is the brand of key caps at 12:57. Blue and black. Shine through.
the royal kludge h81 is a really underrated lubed stabilizers and switches and sturdy frame and has speed silver switches so it’s a fast actuating board and sounds great and looks great.
does apex pro mini's tier changes with their new rapid triigger?
I have the Hyperx origins core 65 with red switches. I thought id like it alot, especially after seeing all of the positive reviews. For some reason i seem to mistype on the keyboard constantly. Ive had it for 2 years and still cant stand typing emails or anything on it
What keyswitches were in the iqunix you displayed?????
Still loving my G.SKILL RIPJAWS KM780 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Cherry MX Brown with Gaming Keycaps, maybe I'll look at one of these for a backup :) Software on the Gskill could use a lot of work but it works with Dragon Center too which is great.
I feel like people who are to lazy to put timestamps into their videos are often also to lazy to test a product.
Pretty much. A - Meh was pretty much entirely how much he currently likes the brand
Just bought the corsair k65 for 55 dollars, I feel like it was worth the price?
Could you do a video like this but for mice?
Which one has the best latency. Didnt hear from you.
Black widow v3 tkl, hyper x alloy tkl, or steel series apex tkl? Wired
Why isnt the melgeek on your list? You featured it last year with the iqunix
Am I missing it or are there seriously no timestamps for this video?
Absolutely love the RX Red switches from ROG
K65 RGB MINI with cherry mx speed is good ?
What’s your top choice for someone trying to get into modding keyboards?
Thank You sir for the video grettings from México 👊🏻
thoughts on the Razer Ornata V3 TKL Gaming Keyboard
Ive just bought my gmmk pro today i cant wait to get it and mod it!
What kind is better, the HyperX Alloy Origins or HyperX Alloy Elite? Do you guys think that the HyperX Alloy Elite 2 is better or worse than HyperX Alloy Elite 1?
As a fan of full size keyboards, it's kinda sad that you put the K100 RGB and Blackwidow V4 Pro on B tier simply because you dislike 100% keyboards I've been using my old K95 RGB with 18G keys for almost 8 years. Although I don't really use macros for gaming, they're SO useful for when I'm editing or to keep some shortcuts I regularly use, and as an engineering student, having the number pad right next to where I write while using windows calculator when doing homework is also very nice. Bought the K100 RGB past month and the build quality and feeling of this thing is no less than A-tier (idk about the Blackwidow tho, never used it)
HUntsman mini optical red switches or hyperx origins 60 ?
I wish Wooting had a TKL version. I have been going down the custom keyboard rabbit hole lately & searching for something to buy as a project. Not sure if I want to build one or just buy another keyboard. Right now I have the HyperX Alloy Origins Core TKL with HyperX red switches & I added Pudding keycaps. Its been decent but looking for something new.
I have a custom one I spent way too much on and the switches in this keyboard even when modded just don't sound the best, I love how they feel for gaming though.
I think they do. Last I checked, they had a full size, 60% and TKL
@@twinblade02 Its not out yet. They are working on one apparently. They only have 2 for sale right now on their website & they are HE60 which is a 60% & the full size. A TKL is a 70%-75% with arrow keys Home, PGUP, PGDN, DEL, END, INS.
@@TMacGamer ayy mb, I forgot about the size difference. Well, either way I'll be waiting for the TKL. Hopefully with more hot swap options (I really want gold switches)
What kind is better, the HyperX Alloy Origins or HyperX Alloy Elite? Do you think that the HyperX Alloy Elite 2 is better or worse than HyperX Alloy Elite 1?
idk if you know this but the razer push out a update for the razer huntsman mini that it has the same features as the wooting 60 keyboard
had my hyperx alloy origins core aqua since it came out and damn it still going strong 😁👍
did razer ever fix the stupid synapse software affecting key strokes dropping Ive got two with that same issue. it shouldnt be a B range. its trash until they fix that. I also like my vulcan TKL if its that bad whats better? I like the red titan switches. Also how is the G915 wireless?
I hate to pick up new one. Iv been using my Corsair K95 rgb now over 7 years. Im active gamer and audiophile so i need macro buttons + volume control and play/stop music buttons. I rarely ever play fps games. More like rpg and strategy ones. Which one of these is suitable for me? I was thinking maybe Rog Azeroth 100% but its friking 270e
I have a logitech pop i was GIVEN because the other person hated it. I didn't know why I thought it was so cool and the best ever (I'm very new to the keyboard community). I QUICKLY learned why the other person hated it so much. 😂 Could you do an updated budget keyboard video? If its worth it? I don't know how much has changed in a year.
How about a mouse and headphones list. I'd love to see both
What is the keycap u used for ur wooting?
Would love to see a video about the Razer Deathadder V3 wired
please more tierlist like this
Love my Steel Series. Unfortunately, after a couple years, started having problems.
Still using razer huntsman mini linear. So good. I have the white version and I think razer is making a mistake not making v3 of this keyboard. Blackwidow mini should also be available in white/mercury. No idea how hyperx is above that. Huntsman got stabs in each key, rubber dampeners and is optical. cmon
Hyperx 60 origins at 115 or Apex pro mini wired at 149?
Is apex9 mini better than hyperX origins 60? (If the price doesnt matter) sorry about my bad grammar
is there an s tier keyboard with numpad ?
ASUS Azoth is god tier. I have a bunch of boards including bespoke customs, and the Azoth provides so much function and customizability that it's by far my most daily driven deck.
It is, I have owned at least 50 keyboards in the last 2 decades, and it the first one that I feel doesn't even need to be modded, but it can be modded! I love it. 75% is my jam too.
I agree
Currently running their Scope II wireless and its the same deal, it's modded out of the box, all im going to do is tape the pcb and change the keycaps!
I’d like to see you double down in keebs rabbit hole and go switch tier list next
Great tier list
I always recommend Keychron mainly because they have so many PREBUILT OPTION... I mean if they don't make it you don't need it at this point. All the price point and all the differences.
If you can get the k65 new for $50 is it worth it?
hey @FrankP the link from the ASUS ROG Claymore II goes to a ASUS ROG Spatha and the link from the ASUS ROG Azoth goes to ASUS ROG Claymore II
My keychron q1 must be an exception, because i cant play one round of csgo without my a and d keys jumping out. Actually its not my a key, because the cap broke so im using L instead. The costumer support were really nice and sent me a replacement key for the key that broke within the first day of me having the keyboard. I havent sent them any more mails detaling the situation, so all in all im really pleased by the help i got, but im just really really sad the product was of so low quality when it comes to durability. My guess is that about 10 or so keys have broken so far. Please tell me if this is atypical for their products because i have no idea what their standards usually are
The only thing I really want from Logitech aurora are the wrist support clouds :D
Why there are no HyperX Alloy Elite 2, is it not better thanHyperX Origin? No Logitech Keyboards highend G915 Lightspeed here?
