My CL65 was doing really well up until the end of this episode, but I took some solace in the fact that Ed and Freddy's cars were doing MUCH MUCH worse.

The problem with Top Gear is that it became over produced. Huge film crews, set creation etc. Mat Leblanc has talked about that in interviews. Top Gear hasn't been raw or organic in years.

I love spring mountain! Been around it in a Radical SR8, and a vette. Such a cool track. The owner and employees are top notch people. What other race track also has a shooting range? Also, Ed.... two words..... Scandinavian flick!

These three guys just work so well together, I'd have never believed that there could ever be another "Top Gear" crew, but you three gentleman have aced it. So much better than "Grand Tour", and all presumably on a much lower budget, well done chaps...
Amazing how the Maserati (ex Fiat/Alfa engineers) gave Freddie a car which catches on fire only after it wins the lap race while on it's way home. Not even a crappy Porsche Cayenne (a Touareg in drag) can duplicate such a feat of majestic engineering bravo!
No matter who wins, id always choose the Vanquish. It is by far the most gorgeous car out of the bunch.
