Hi I’m Aurikatariina and I deep clean my followers' homes for free! ❤️
My favourite room the clean is the kitchen!!! Today we are helping a tenant who was struggling. She also had a cat in here and the cat was depressed. It was so important for me to help them both. O found some amazing thing here. There was a lot of popcorn kernels on the sink and some dried up lettuce on the floor. The oven was also lovely a dirty. But just wait until you see the before and after pictures, this kitchen turned out amazing!
Bathroom cleaning, kitchen cleaning, living room cleaning, Organizing, deep cleaning, Washing, before and after pictures, satisfying results.

  • I grew up in a very messy home with my father who was a hoarder. He hoarded until the day he died and destroyed the home. The Shame he and all of us felt and the secret nightmare that stopped being such a secret---so real. THANKYOU for helping people like me. I'm not a hoarder but I had to learn how to clean and I grew up in filth. I feel like I'm watching my inner child get a huge hug when I see you clean people's homes.

  • If any depressed person has no help and they need to start cleaning, here is a tip: start with three boxes or bags. One is for trash. The second is for items that need to be put away in the room it was found in. The third is for items that need to be put away in another room. After that, vacuum or sweep if you have the energy. If not, do it the next day. And trash can be anything you don’t want or need! This part is harder but if it doesn’t get used often, has no occasional use for something important, or has no joy for you: let it go. I held onto school notes from MIDDLE SCHOOL when I was a young married mom before I finally got the courage to throw them out. Once I threw out old notebooks I had no use for, it made it easier to learn how and when to throw things out.

  • When I heard 3 shifts, I felt so sorry for her :( I think it's one of the most inhumane things in the workplace industry. It is cruel to force a person to work all day, then a few days later work all night. You can never adapt because you have to switch your sleeping hours every few days. I am pretty sure that lots of other people worldwide suffer from it, just like Katie.

It's the matter of getting over the (sometimes irrational) shame that is difficult at first, but it's so worth it!

  • I used to clean one of my friends apartment once or twice a month when he was severely depressed. Some of our friends thought he took advantage of me and just didn't bother to clean because he knew I'd come and help him out. I honestly didn't care what the reason was. It made me happy to know i could go home afterwards and have the feeling of being productive and helpful for someone else. It's been a few years now and i don't live near that town anymore, but I know he is in a better state of mind and has turned his life around so his apartment probably isn't as bad anymore. Will i do it again for someone else? Without a doubt. Do good and good will come to you!

It’s so fast that the dirty can get out of control when you’re depressed and it’s really amazing how a clean home can make you feel better. I hope people can see that this is a simple way of helping a friend in need. And I must say that seeing your videos is very helpful in keeping my home clean even when my mental health is not in the best moments, it’s inspiring seeing the before and after, and also makes me see that it’s not that hard, maybe buying a new cleaning tool can be a way of making the whole thing more fun, and having my space organized takes a huge problem out of my head

  • Watching your videos inspired me to help a friend of mine who has been depressed for years with his apartment. I have cleaned his apartment two times now. The first time was a year ago, and I did it by myself. I had told him that for his birthday, I wanted to decorate his apartment for him because he's always liked my suggestions/taste. I did that, but I also cleaned his apartment top to bottom by myself. Then 2 months ago, his depression/anxiety got worse. He didn't let anybody see him for a whole month, kept making excuses saying he was busy, or cleaning. So though I was torn about it, I decided to show up at his apartment with beer and food and cleaning supplies, and said "If you're here cleaning, then that's where I'll be too." After some convincing, he let me in and I could clearly see he hadn't cleaned since I had done it a year before. So, we cleaned and talked and listened to music, and he really enjoyed himself. He made an appointment with a therapist that day, too. He's still deep in depression, it's hard to get him to open up. He has been seeing the therapist every week, but I don't think it's helping. It's hard when you see friends so deep in "the hole," but I have hope that if I continue reaching out, he will grow more comfortable asking for help.

Which leaves me little energy to keep my space nice, especially as my youngest is also autistic. I have had cancer twice myself and can easily understand how easy it is to get in a mess-and how overwhelming it can be to try to tackle a huge mess. This apartment didn't seem too bad to me though.

    • It seems sad nobody in your friend group has offered to help you. Why not ask one of your warmest, most nurturing friends to come around for lunch and a bit of wine, in return for helping with the room you have most struggle with? Just say that this month, it is too much. A good friend will note that and turn up for 2 or 3 hours and help out, at least once a month. Sometimes, it makes a 15 minute job 3 minutes, just because with 2, you can move things so easily. Or if you are good with plants, put up a sign saying swap a selection of plants for an hour's help, cleaning.

A couple times a year I have high functioning periods and I have "normal person" energy and it's amazing. I can clean my house normally, cook and clean, do my job more effectively than normal, and I can't believe it's how normal people live. If you aren't mentally ill it's impossible for you to understand.

  • Honestly, I can totally understand that this person had problems with sleeping and everything in this job. I work in a grocery store and mostly the late shift. It takes up so much time of your day and especially with the bad weather right now (at least here in germany) it really does take a toll on your overall feeling. I find myself not being able to have a normal sleep schedule (it 2am right now) and I feel like I get nothing done, even if I want to. It's getting annoying pretty fast and you simply don't get out of this spiral thanks to this job. Have been looking for another one for month now, but without any luck.

  • I just love how gentle you are with the people who you are helping. You are so understanding of their difficulties and that is so meaningful when they are already vulnerable and struggling. Worlds Best Cleaner not just for your skill - which is *amazing!* - but also the wonderful spirit you take everything on. The has really helped me feel inspired to clean details that I have overlooked and playing your videos while I am cleaning makes it feel like I have someone helping me. :) Thank you!

  • I have depression & anxiety. It often feels exhausting to just take a bath or brush my teeth. So yeah, my house is bad. I’m feeling better and working on my house with my family. But most people, friends included, are not as understanding as you are. Most just see it as lazy. So for me there is no one I can ask for help from except my for my husband and kids who all live here. But my husband has fibromyalgia and often can’t do more than make it through work. My daughter has had surgery on her arm so she can’t help and we’ve spent a lot of time going to appointments and physical therapy which takes what energy I have. She just got back to where she can drive again so maybe now I can get more work done. My son helps but right now all of our vehicles need repairs and he is helping my husband with that. Add on our chickens, duck, dogs, pig and me trying to build a KZhead channel of my own and life gets overwhelming quickly. The point really is that most people just say, get rid of the animals and pull yourself up by the bootstraps, you’re just lazy. Buck up and get it done. You are more empathetic than most people. And more educated on mental illness. I’m the one struggling with that. But sometimes a lot of crap happens and life is just harder for people with chronic illnesses but other people don’t understand or see it that way. So we have found that there really isn’t anyone to ask for help. So we just plod along slowly trying to make any progress we can. Doing the best we can and not having anyone over. We are blessed in that we own our home and it’s in the woods in the country so we will have no landlords evicting us. But we would like it to be nicer for our own sanity. We would love to have people over. My first week with no more mom taxi responsibilities and I get a UTI. Very frustrating…. Thank you for being so empathetic and educating the world. It gives me hope. It helps just know that we are not alone in our struggles. It’s not just us! It feels like that so often! So thank you for helping people and letting others of us know we are not alone. And those you are helping are also not alone.

    • I play the video and clean while it is playing. It’s sort of like having a friend with me, and it gives me a concrete time to actually do some cleaning. And then if it’s a bad day, that is at least a few things that are done. If it’s a good day I play it again and clean some more. I also wish I could ask for help but there is no one near me, at least not that I know well enough to trust.

    • Maybe you could give a city close to you or district and country on here. It would be amazing if you lived near each other. Or if someone saw your area and contacted you. People who neglect themselves are often the kindest, most helpful to others - and it is rarely reciprocated. If you find someone who lives near, you can check the comments they make elsewhere, you can chat and exchange opinions, maybe meet for coffee in a safe place, and decide if you can each be trusted cleaning buddies. 2 hour stints at each house... You may end up with a BFF!

  • I am in my late 30s and have suffered from depression at different times throughout my life but this time it’s been about a 2 year downward spiral. I just got back into therapy 3 weeks ago and one of my major immediate goals is to tackle my trashed apartment. I’ve been motivated but without action for about a month to accept and not judge how bad it has gotten and just do it. My mess grosses me out and is also my super secret. I have nightmares regularly of people coming in and seeing the condition I’m living in bc on the outside i manage to act and look like I have it all together but I don’t. I started watching your videos and I cannot express how helpful and compassionate you are. I cannot even imagine asking anyone in my family to help me clean. Let alone friends. It’s too shameful for me to think of anyone seeing it! Thank you for sharing these videos and for helping so many people in such a generous and caring way. ❤ i also appreciate your cleaning tips and normalizing that some people suffer in a way that makes it hard to clean or be organized like a lot of other people!

  • I was depressed when I still lived at home. One day, my mom and sister came in to my room with a big trashbag and we started cleaning my room togehter. Back then I was annoyed that they came in to my room to help me clean, I was in my 20's, I could do it my self. I didn't see back then that my mental health was stopping me from cleaning my room. Nowaday's I am glad that they took a full day just to make my room look pretty again. It also had a great effect on my mental health, and now if my room starts to get messy or dirty, I notice my mental health going downhill again and I will clean my room. Every time I watch one of your videos I think about that time, and it makes me happy that I have people close to me who are always willing to help me. I also got the help I needed from a therapist, I got diagnosed with a list of mental health issues, broke contact with my abusive dad, found some friends who are always there for me and found my calling in teaching children! So life is good now!

  • I'm depressed myself, and although I like cleaning the motivation rarely comes. When you're so depressed you barely have the will to shower, cleaning your home is too mammoth a task to even attempt. I have found though that the first step is always trash. If nothing else, just get rid of the rubbish even if it's just one room. Usually just doing that makes the room much better and hopefully with a less clogged room it can help unclog ones mentals and get the ball rolling.

  • Hello ❤ I must say I admire your empathy and way of looking at things😊 thank you for helping out so many. You're so important. I have been suffering from depression from my teen years up until now at 32. Sometimes I have good phases and sometimes everything is grey and hopeless. Luckily I had no problems with cleaning my appartment or keeping order. However I was a typical procrastinator (I think you write it that way:) and couldn't keep up with my paperwork, job, mails and meetings. I sometimes feel overwhelmed and it's also a kind of order and cleanliness - just not as visible as a dirty appartment.
