One of Jordan Peterson's most famous and controversial quotes is that men need to be monsters, but under control monsters. This goes the same with being dangerous. A man that is not dangerous is weak, but you must have it under control.

    • That does not make sense, as you have heard JP saying. Peaceful men are not harmless , the definition of harmless means you do not have the capability, weapons, capacity etc … to “harm” like a slug unless you are a cabbage of course but you get the drift. A peaceful man is a man who has all of the above and more due to being highly intelligent ,fast , able to perform extremely complicated calculations of maths and physics subconsciously in a split second, but …. Does not use it to harm by his own peaceful free will. There is a big difference , you have to understand the basics of what those two words actually mean.

Or a max security prisoner killer escaped, It's dangerous. But I understand his pov on this. I understand what he is meaning. But I don't agree how he uses the term dangerous. He understands people beyond what some are ready to be understood...that is why they are afraid of him. To others he is heaven sent, and I am sure of that. Sometimes the Lord sends an angel to earth to help us out in real time... It is really refreshing to hear him speak with such honesty and rawness. Happy i found this insight of you!!! Im am way more articulate then before (only when needed) and yes - a human being must at all times be prepared for the unprepared - and so capable of violence - because of all the dangers in the world - weakness is the worst characteristic. • Grew up in a single mother household, absent father (and nothing against my mother at all, love her with all me heart and owe her my life), but you learn how difficult it can be to navigate life not being taught by your absent father how to be a man. 31, and it's taken me all that time to learn to 'man up', and to embrace masculinity and that there's nothing wrong with exerting masculinity - it's part of being a man. There's nothing wrong with being disagreeable/upfront/confrontational and you have to be - it's part of your authority as a man to be just that; as you need to be so that correction and order is made where applicable in the circumstances. As Dr Peterson sums it up - you've got to be capable of being dangerous. It's better than being weak. Being weak, especially as a man you'll be walked over and/or make poor decisions that a weak man makes. I have never felt better than I do now phsyically/mentally/spiritually than I do now, understanding your rightful place to being a good man. Not a nice guy, a good man. There's a difference.

These strengths/skills should pertain to anyone who wants to be more powerful in life. Due to an experience when I was 4, I learned that I couldn't rely on "grown-ups" and had to become strong. I would not change that as it made me the person I am today. As a small female, I spent every day focusing on never being weak and learning to be dangerous as I was bullied by those who assumed I was an easy target. I'm Not. Thank you for sharing your insight and speaking the truth, not always popular in today's world.

It are the drastic experiences in life, that transform us as human individuals and let us enter the next stage in life where as when we look back at the times we defined as "hard" before, are laughable afterwards. Don't wish for an easy life. Ask for a challenging life!

  • True power is knowing what we're thinking and believing is what creates our experience. When we disarm our self and surrender to what Is.. we are in our HIGHEST POWER. Not weak. Because we are looking at the thoughts as they are coming in real time and noticing which ones we are at war with in our minds. Which ones we are holding on to in defense and clinging to with stress and anxiety in our self. And to let go, we aren't actually letting go, we are meeting our thoughts with understanding so they can let go of us. So the velcro of our attachments to beliefs that Stent really true for us can unstick and we can experience real freedom. The kind that doesn't need an outcome to know it. To feel it. To be it. Weakness is when we think something outside of ourselves can affect us.. that something other than our own thinking can negatively impact us and be responsible for our suffering. When we are Powerful, we know are allowing. We are allowing life to unfold before us because we know there is nothing happening that can threaten us. That can threaten our safety or our security. It is Unconditional power... Unconditional FREEDOM🔥 that we are wanting. Not a temporary fix or bandaid. We want Self Realization. To know that suffering and freedom and love and joy and Peace.... begins and ends with us. The Alpha and the Omega. 💞 The Heiros Gamos .. complete. The Prophecy... Fulfilled. We are the Question and the Answer to our prayers. ❤🕊
