That's a well-behaved cat, and i rarely see cat who takes the initiative ,usually dogs who tend to initiate sniffing,to get to know or play.

Mini schnauzers are very territorial. This peaceful introduction wouldn't happen if Chumpie was older at this time.

That is a very well-mannered, calm and observant cat; I think that cat realized that Chumpie is a puppy straight away, so the puppy isn’t a threat. My cat tends to be pretty territorial, can be fairly aggressive at times (my cat is basically a rescue cat, so there’s some PTS issues, obviously) so that first meeting wouldn’t have gone over very well in my home at all. Y’all are lucky you have animals with good temperaments.

I'm so happy you've uploaded so many videos. I miss my mini schnauzer so much (she was put down) and Chumpie is so cute :) don't have the heart to get another one so cheers for letting me see Chumpie's puppy experiences x

Stephanie McQuillan Yeah still can't, think it was because I mostly grew up with her (Pippin was her name). I also had cancer at 18 and she stayed by my side when I was recovering from operations. She ended up having cancer and being put down because it was everywhere, and for weeks before she was put to rest I stayed with her and barely slept like she did for me. I didn't have much emotional support from people at the time of my cancer. She kept me going xx can't have another like her

frawst04 we had to get ours put down in October. He hadn't been himself for 18+ months before. In and out of the vet for various things. Then in the beginning of October he just failed and he had been starting to drag one of his hind legs that summer. So we took him in and they said he had a tumour on his spine. He never came home. He had been in a month or so before that and they said he had a slipped disc in his back. He would've been 14 yesterday actually. He never had any problems until the last 18 months. He was always like a spring lamb. He never barked. He was so good. His name was Murphy. They are the best little companions.
