I have been shooting and hunting with a suppressor for 6 years now. Love it! It makes a huge difference with the kids shooting as well.
I have just seen your video. I resently moved to the "FREE" state of Florida and found your information extremely valuable, so much that I have sent Silence Central an email to start my purchase! Thank you for the eye opening information!
I finally broke down and purchased these two last week. I also took advantage of the BOGO deal. Now I just need to get through the wait process and get them!
Bought the banish 30 gold 5 1/2 months ago. Just got my approval last Thursday. I can wait
Sioux Falls??? What??? This whole TIME??? That's Amazing!!!!
I have a Bannish 223 suppressor and mine must be faulty according to all of these sponsored spokesmen. Unless you shoot sub-sonic (below 1,125fpm.) ammo you cannot tell of any dB reduction from a .22 long rifle cartridge in a rifle with a barrel length of 16-1/2" or 22" barrel. However, if attached to my .22 pistol with barrel length of 5-1/2"and using 1,400fpm cartridges there is a significant reduction in dBs. If sub-sonic ammo is used it really reduces the dBs further, obviously due to the bullet not getting up to supersonic f.p.s in the shorter barrel. I purchased this suppressor for my AR-15 and never read or viewed any video stating that sub-sonic ammo would be required for a substantial noise reduction, good luck finding .223/5.56 sub-sonic ammo and if you can find it, prepare to pay over $2.00 a cartridge and essentially turning the rifle into a weak .22 magnum at best. I appreciate the fine workmanship of my Bannish 223 and the customer service offered, just wish a little more honest advertising in performance and real sound reduction was the truthfully stated.
It's not gonna be dead quiet as it's stated. It's just lower level. It doesn't make it silent.
Took a little over a year but it was seamless!
Sounds like an infomercial I would see at 3 am. Wonder why? :)
I have a Banish 30 in jail right now. I’m hoping it’s as good as you guys say it is. Lol! Thank you for the review! I’m getting mine for my AK and .556.
You will love it. I have a 30&46 and have a Back Country in jail now
@@lancelamoon6743 oh wow! That’s awesome! Would love more of your experience with the Banish 30. Have you shot it on anything else besides .30 cal?
@@chadmccormick1412 Not much a little on a 22 thats about it.
@@lancelamoon6743My Banish 30 was approved on 1-15. Now just waiting to get my notification sent to my CLEO. Not too much longer. lol!
soaking non-serviceable cans in solvent bath is one way to clean, ultrasonic cleaners is another way to clean the cans
I just wonder if the Game and Fish Departments will ban these to prevent poachers from having an additional advantage. Just a theory.
I doubt it. Using a suppressor to commit a crime would likely entail enough harsh penalties.
I have a m400 how did I put it on my 223 556 don't go on.
120 days ya right its pretty much 8-10 months even e forms
10-13 usually
I submitted paperwork on January 24, 2024, was approved February 18.
@@lyndeen you lucky then.
@@lyndeen I submitted my 3rd suppressor on 11-15-23 nothing yet see how long this one takes.
Ya so I live in a state that’s like silencers are a no fly zone lol it sucks… hoping legal stuff happens faster so we can get back to being like most states. Shesh Illinois let’s get our shit together.
What’s the total cost of this process?
The cost of the can plus a $200 tax stamp. Which is what the paperwork is for. Right now the banish 30 is $999+$200 tax=$1199
@@sirtango1 and 10-15 months wait time on the ATF and SC
