10 Healthy Grocery Items To Buy At Walmart Supercenter...And What To Avoid!

The healthy Walmart grocery haul video is here! I traveled just outside of Chicago to check out a Walmart supercenter and pick out about 10 healthy grocery items that you should definitely buy, and a few to stay away from. There are so many healthy grocery items that I was blown away by at Walmart, and the prices are about as good as they get. I was really impressed by the grass-fed beef and bison at Walmart, along with the healthy coking oils and baking items. I was a bit disappointed at the bacon, none of it was sugar free cured, or organic pasture raised. There are lots of Walmart shopping tips in this video, so hopefully you guys love it and share it! Where to next!? Much Love..Bobby, Dessi, & Art XOXO

  • Big challenge: Do a DollarTree Haul! I see so many people buying their groceries from there, simply because that is what is available. To their credit, they are one of the very few companies that will open a store in so-called food deserts and not where the big money customers are. I go there too, and occasionally they have good things (that disappear fast). Thank you for showing what you can recommend at walmart. Trader Joes and Whole Foods are just not accessible to most non-urban people, and there is not a single CostCo in the state I live. Much respect for not turning your nose up at walmart, like a lot of other elite foodies do. It shows you care about all people and their health.

    @KB-gx5bs@KB-gx5bs5 жыл бұрын
    • K B ...unfortunately the Dollar Tree near me has very little healthy stuff. I was wondering if you have any local farmers nearby or any neighbors who would split the cost of a whole cow with you.... also, if you have a food processor, there are some basics that you can make like mayo.... and bone broth is a great staple that can be made on the stove .

    • I live in a rural area and we only have Dollar General and Walmart. I drive out of town to aldi usually, but if I’m in a pinch or in the case of bad weather (which has happened too often this winter!) I am sometimes limited to only those stores. I would love to see a DG haul too!

      @mirandajones2319@mirandajones23195 жыл бұрын
    • @@celeste-236 Thank you for your nice reply, but my comment was not so much a reflection of my own life situation. I can readily afford my local farmers markets and could buy a whole cow for my own stockpile. I even have a food processor ;-) But so many people around me truly struggle and could not even dream of buying big chunks of animals, much less have the luxury of freezer space to preserve it, and a food processor? No chance. The fanciest equipment they might have is a crockpot. When a large Dollar Tree opened here last year, it was a drastic improvement for many people of very limited means. Granted there is tons of junk offered, but there seemingly are some good things to be found, especially in the freezer section and in the canned good aisle. I am trying to help people in my community, but I am not a nutritionist. I would love for somebody like Bobby to take a tour around a Dollar Tree with a decent food department and give some helpful tips :-)

They have tons of good organic brands, gluten free etc. Amy's Kitchen, Canyon Bakehouse, organic fruits and veggies etc. I can get everything healthy I need for so much cheaper than other grocers. • Hey Bobby Thanks for always reminding me to read labels. I was always taught that raisins are good for you. Apparently not, I read the back of the Sun-Maid Raisins (A very popular brand) I use to buy at Walmart and it says the raisins are mechanically stemmed and may contain an occasional Wood Piece! I thought it was rather sneaky that they chose to use the words “Wood Piece”, instead of May contain an occasional “Piece of Wood”, which sounds much worse😂I googled those particular raisins and other people were complaining that they were dirty and had grit or sand like substance in them and someone else said they bit down on a small rock, about the size of a raisin and nearly broke a molar. Took Sun-Maid off my list and they’ve been around for years & years, feeding us scraps instead of raisins! I don’t buy any raisins anymore after eating those. Thanks for this video!

  • Thank you! You have answered so many questions on quality and prices. I recently went Keto and am just learning about the products and where to find them. I also use Bison and prefere grass fed beef. I will look for your recipes on line. I purchased 2 Keto cookbooks,but they call for so many different ingredients that I do wish to stock. I am looking more for simple, but tasty recipes. I cook for for my husband who is not keto,so I need to often modify my version of his meal! Challenging to say the least. Since Civid quarantine, I found Adi’s delivery to be the fastest, and best option. I will shop there in person when we can. New fan, Ellen Musser

After looking at you, Rose and her mother in Trader Joe’s, I looked it up and they have one in my state, Wisconsin. I love Rose she’s a smart 2 years old, at her age, she knows how to do house choices. She always make me laugh whenever I watch her, everything have to passed her mouth before she empty it in a bowl , that is funny. I’m going to grocery shopping in there from now on.
