    • In MLB if a manager of either team has a problem with the officiating and feels there was a call blown against them that they feel could effect the outcome of the game, they have the ability to call a "Protest". The game continues as normal, however, MLB will review the game and make a ruling. Virtually no protest has ever resulted in an overturn, despite how bad the call was.

That's a reference to Sherlock Holmes, by the way, so you don't need to comment "Sir Arthur Conan Doyle" to point out the painfully obvious thing I was referring to. And if your justification is that not everybody watches South Park and won't catch the Randy Marsh reference, my argument is that a curious person could have googled it and learned for themselves. An incurious person wouldn't have read or cared about the comment. What I'm saying is that you're comment served no purpose but to enrage a pedantic asshole like me.

How many of those bad calls cost teams games? Time to make the Fast Trac call balls and strikes. Umps only get to call plays at the bases with replay because they miss so many.

      @artieburns6441@artieburns64415 жыл бұрын
    • Artie Burns well, 34,294 human errors behind the plate is a hell of a lot of mistakes. A umpires “human error” shouldn’t affect the outcome of a game. I’ve seen it happen too many times. The Fast Trac system is very effective. Perhaps it can be used a few times in a game as an instant replay on obvious blown calls. Do a test run. But the fragile egos of these umps will cry like a stuck pig!
