    • @@liambrooks3987 3 for 10 with 3 RBI, 1 being this homerun isn't exactly what I'd call owning someone. Respectable/good? Sure, I'll give you that. Also as fan of neither team, nor any team Kelly has played on. (I'm a fan of a garbage can organization lol) What the Astros did, and in many different fashions, imo, is worse than anything the Sox did. Or supposedly the Yankees or handful of other clubs. Buzzers, trashcans, monitors, secret camera men, they were like crackheads they just couldn't help themselves. Even after Farquhar of the CWS caught them and called them out, they still kept it going. Screw the Astros, what they did was equal to the Black Sox scandal. I give their most recent WS total legitimacy too, as a non biased MLB fan. The scandal year though, nah dawg there's no turning this on other people to defend it.

      @Admiral_Potato41@Admiral_Potato41 Жыл бұрын
    • @@Admiral_Potato41 you know statistically speaking the cheating wasn't all that helpful, if you really took the time to look at the stats you'd see that they didn't benefit at all so comparing it to the black Sox scandal is ridiculous honestly. As a team, the Astros had better batting averages when playing away games rather than home games and they were only able to cheat at home. Also, 1/3 trashcan bangs was incorrect so imagine trying to hit a ball you think is a breaking ball but is a fastball. Also, the system really isn't too complex. 1 hit meant fastball and 2 hits meant anything other than a fastball so it's pretty vague. People really overhype their scandal because they want to have a scapegoat to rip on. It's time to forgive and forget especially since they won a WS legit last season.

  • Baseball “brawls” always make me chuckle. Reminds me of when grade schoolers get into a “fight”. Some yelling a little bit of pushing and always have that one guy that has to be restrained. But you know if you let that guy go he ain’t going to do anything, he just wanted people to make him feel tough.
