He is a professional sports announcer with over 32 years of experience in the NBA (former Sacramento Kings announcer) in addition to doing NFL and NHL games. I mean, come on, this is bare knuckle fighting in a cage... that’s really not bad compared to many fighters, and it’s probably due to what was said after round one ended. Man I really love combat sports (MMA and Boxing) but I’m so afraid of the Particular part of it because at the end of the day we have no gloves on basically fine with a weapon and the risk of someone dying goes up a lot . I just pray that these fighters come out of the fights healthy, but it’s really tough to watch. Much love and respect .

a study has come out concluding that a like for like comparison of 126 matches, Bareknuckle boxing has significantly less concussion rate than MMA and Boxing. Due to the lack of gloves fighters have to pick their shots more, and don't throw full force for most of their strikes. Shorter match time too. bareknuckle = more cuts and swelling. Gloves allow fighters to get away with being reckless with strikes without breaking their hands. Buakow fought for BKFC, and hurt his hand the first fight after hitting someone in the ribs incorrectly, yet he is a phenomenal in gloved muay thai.
