This is the 2009 movie The Blind Side, which tells the story of Michael. Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron), a homeless black teen, has drifted in and out of the school system for years. Then Leigh Anne Tuohy and her husband, Sean , take him in. The Tuohys eventually become Michael's legal guardians, transforming both his life and theirs.   • Wasn't expelled from school along with he did not have a low IQ he was just pushed thru the school system like most kids, he was not a genius but a large man that was able to play football. I hate creators that title videos for clicks! Just do better

  • The guy they made this movie about hated the movie, because he did not have a low IQ and didn’t struggle like that in school. He was homeless yes and the family did take him in….but he wasn’t actually “slow” or stupid.

    • also hes sueing the family now because they actually did exploit him, instead of adopting him they took conservatorship over him (like britney spears) and told him it was practically adoption

  • Having seen the movie several times, I would never associate the title used in this video for that movie. It’s completely inaccurate and misleading. He was never expelled from school, nor was he a genius. He was not dumb either, just average intellectually but incredibly gifted and talented physically and athletically.
