  • Gorgeous scenery, beautiful boats. Some of the best boat video I've seen in while. Big screen, HD feels like I'm there. : )

  • Amazing video! That wind is coming from the absolute worst direction (due Easterly) for trying to come out of the Inter-coastal. Those are some very large boats being rocked!

    • Wind was a mess that day, luckily wasn't too much for the drone, our boy Tim only had a couple tough moments flying it in the wind

  • Very impressed by the Maritimo M55, handled it like a champ. Cant avoid the pitching in such seas but it looked smooth, no slamming

    • I’ve run a Maritimo S55 in similar seas… with the full length keel, they are rock solid in big seas!

  • The only boat i see being able to handle these conditions. And it's not surprising to me either. Considering their made for it. Is the Viking yachts. Their wide hulls, weight, and raw diesel powered engines are just meant for deep sea outings.

    • The Freeman 37' and 43' eat this stuff all day.. 9:12 is a Freeman, granted he was going rather slowly. They just have a way of cutting thru the waves...

  • 4 ft max - otherwise the Coast Guard wouldn't be taking a small response boat out, they'd be in a RB - Medium.

  • Genuine question (not a boater), why did that pilot boat have all those bumpers still hanging on the rails?

    @greybeard277@greybeard27711 күн бұрын
    • Because he comes alongside large vessels in rough water to exchange Pilot from his Pilot Boat to the large vessel when entering harbors and back again when leaving.
