Watch out doing business with this guy goo.gl/maps/1MdAxR41MUWStTrC7 (Lee's Towing and Recovery) Blocking me without any explanation is no way to back out of a deal. I would have just brought a trailer up the first time if I knew you weren't going to come. Waste of my gas/time/tolls.

Thanks so much everyone for checking out the video and dropping feedback below! Greatly appreciate it and definitely a future video coming on this wrecker. Also huge thank you to you guys who have commented on other Detailer KZhead channels about maybe collaborating with the 1974 Torino Elite. If you get a chance, leave a comment on your favorite detailing Channel like WD or AMMOnyc about them doing the NNKH Elite and maybe we can make this happen! Thanks!!!
Another awesome video Chris. Thanks Bro!
I am a woman.I do know a little about cars. You are surely not boring.
There are again scammers on comments in YT. It is a pity but it’s the last time I will post anything.
They're wing windows
I have the same exact wrecker body, It’s a No-Mar, actually purchased from the same outfitter in NJ too. I don’t know the model # because my ID tag has 8 layers of paint but it says “Coming to get ya” on the boom when it’s extended.
I love how every time you bring something home, Jen is just as interested in it as you are.
Jen is a keeper!!!!!!!
That tow truck cleaned up nice. Great job on it, I know it was a lot of work!
Best wife/girlfriend ever
@@richie4ohio yep 👍👍
Need to put a ring on that one!
I truly enjoy the real-world content you produce. The challenges you work through are not sugar coated and not fixed by simply purchasing expensive parts. I can't get enough of this channel lately. Keep up the great work!

Public Surplus.@ all day long new projects
I used to work for the Police department and worked on those light bars all the time. Some advice for you: take the yellow covers off and polish them up with polishing compound. A lot of times you can make them look great and remove alot of the hazyness. Also, while you have them off, spray a squirt of PB into the ports on the electric Motors, and spray some lithium grease on the plastic gears that drive the rotating lights. Also remove the bulbs and lubricate the sockets. The bulbs should be halogen, but 50 amp 1156's will work as well. Cool truck!
I wrote all that down.
I just wanted to let Chris know how happy I am for his success. It takes a lot of patience and organization to bring us these videos. Most people have no idea how many hours of unused video you have to scrub through and sit on for a long time in order to put together a presentation like this. These aren't simple workman vlogs. There are dozens of other channels that are doing the same types of mechanic work, and the viewers can scroll back through this channels' earlier videos to see examples of the kind of vlogs everyone else is putting out today. It takes patience and organization to wait until a story has a beginning, middle, and end, skill to edit that story together.
Thanks so much for the kind feedback and yeah it definitely is a lot of work putting these type of videos together! Especially when you start putting in social life into the mix. It's hard to decide what to include and what not. Can't thank you enough for checking the videos out! Really appreciate the support
Hey Chris, thanks for sharing this with us. Great job saving that C-30. Bummer about that guy that ghosted you on the sale - it takes all kinds! I really enjoy your videos and look forward to more.
Anyone who deliberately avoids your calls and than blocks you is a spineless coward. Good for you for naming this coward.
My time is worth something. These ghosts do need called out. Chris handled it very well 👍
What a POS that guy is. I’ve had it done to me.
@@tuk2433 well said.
I really love watching a craftsperson plying their trade. I've no idea why X needs oiled, removed or changed, or where to even start diagnosing but seeing someone who really knows their stuff is a thing of beauty.
Gotta hand it to you, you've been pumping out great content quickly! This has become my favorite out of all the channels
You're a real mechanic. Logical, honest and knowledgeable. You'd make a hell of a neighbor! Thanks for the videos.
I never got the whole ASMR thing, but when you go clanking around on the old cars and heavy equipment, it's very relaxing sounds lol Everything from a dry rotted line cracking, opening a squeaky door or just pulling dip sticks. Also I still watch in disbelief how quickly you analyze the state of a power and drive train and decide on a course of action. Great video as usual!
DUDE I say keep this one. Put your talent into fixing it up and keep it for other builds to sell. This has your name all over it and it's your type of style as well. This is a real game changer on put coming project that you haven't even seen or thought of yet......
As a wrecker driver myself, I would love to see this thing fixed up and working again. The old square body wrecker is an icon of the towing industry.
That truck turned out amazing I was so shocked how good it cleaned up, also that air jack is sick!
Really enjoy what you do and your editing is spot on as well, real joy to see you bring all this cool stuff back to life. Not only the vehicles but all th old cool USA made stuff. Keep up the great work man thanks
I grew up around wreckers like that, my dad had a garage/towing company with 4 trucks. Brings back memories, thanks. Keep the videos coming, I like a man who isn't afraid of hard work.
I'm from Venezuela, I don't know how your vids came to my algorithm, but i'm more than gratefull for that, totally fan!! It's nice to watch you work!!!
The longer the videos get I know the content is just better and better. Awesome job Chris 👍 love the channel
I hate when people cut up the video's and turn one video into a month with 20 minutes an episode. Junkyard Digs is bad for that stuff I would rather have it long like this only NNSNH, Mortske Repair and Sleeper Dude are the only ones that keep them long like this and I like it.

They say it’s running late like it’s a bad thing. I mean please punish us with an hour plus long video I dare ya !! 😆🤣
@@79tazman I agree. Especially when there is no follow up.
I really enjoy your content. Looks like this will make a nice little tow truck. Nice to see Jen and Gus get some on camera time. Thanks for sharing.
Hey, this is Mark I got 19 years out of an Optima. I was very pleased.
Chris is the American Dream. Great wife, life, fan base, puppy, and loves what he does. Much props. I’ve just binged watched on your Will It Run episodes.
I find these will it run videos simply awesome, very cool seeing those things get at least another start after sitting idle for so long.
We called them “wing windows”. Opens wide open they provided a nice air flow while moving down the road.
New tank in, sort the brakes, spot of welding, a gallon of underseal, then you have yourself a routing tooting, spit spot, tip top wrecker there Mr. I think it's a blessing in disguise that that eejut didn't follow through. A right result. Well done ❤
I'm so happy I found your channel, so nice to see people near Jersey just living their best life. Very inspiring thank you
FINALLY! an hour spent with you guys, there are very few I wish would put out an hour or so and you are at the top, great content, love Jen, Gus and the backyard art lol... Keep it up Bro!
Just spent a Saturday morning watching and i didn't want the video to end
Definitely want to see more done to this! It might just be a really good recovery rig for other cars you buy and save
man you can thank those commenting haters for bumpin your vids up in the algorithm keep it real
Great channel and content. You can ramble all you want, you drop much appreciated info and insights in your commentary. You Jen and Gus are a great team.
Another great video Chris. Always something to learn. 87 and newer trucks had the fuel tank baffles for efi. And I think all non AC trucks had the manual kick panel vents.
In the summer after hooking up a car, you figure you want as some A/C in the cab! Aw hell just give em these little slide vents lol
Hey I know you didn't want to keep the tow truck but I think it would be very useful and I think it's incredibly cool. Looking forward to more video's with it.
This is awesome ,its incredible how everything simply works again after so much sitting , I was waiting for that pressure wash ! he even did it in the rain ,what a champ
I got to say NO Nonsense you have got of one of the best American KZheadrs I have seen really sensible and smart working
I hope we get to see some more of this thing. Would definitely be nice to see you either get a tilt deck trailer, or a deck over trailer. Makes it easier to fit junk on and bring it home.
damn for sitting for 7 years the first time you touched that key off the crank up sounded perfectly even all the way across. There was absolutely no gallop in the motor at all...you have yourself a really healthy motor there
omg so exciting..
Man , you are a hard worker. It’s like you have 40 years of experience and the energy of a 20 year old. I had to have a look in . I spent a year or more in the area working , I did the start up on the Linden PSEG power facility 2003 to 2005 . Lived in Rahway & a North Brunswick. The success you have attained with this you tube , I hope continues. This is what makes America so great. Cheers Alberta Dave 🇨🇦😊
I watched the whole thing and i hav ta say that this is a very good rescue, thru the yrs ive bought and rescued alot of trucks, this one empresses me to no end. now you have something to tow with, and if you dont want to you can always sell it for decent money.
Love the old school tow truck! Those hydraulic booms were great for pulling engines.
Thank you for all the work you put in. I find my self looking for new content more and more often. Best from Greece, driving home to Norway next week so I really really loved your Torino vids with the roadtrip. Keep it up :)
The hidden Sopranos reference was Phenomenal!!!! I'm a lifetime fan of your channel now, brother.
Seriously! I love the dedication man like your getting saturated with rain and still doing your thing and not batting an eye ! Awesome
Truly amazing to watch. So much knowledge and skill, stumbled upon this channel a few week’s ago and haven’t been able to stop watching! For tyres pre 2000 the DOT still work’s except it’s a 3 digit not 4. Tyres made in the 80’s first 2 numbers are the week last number is the year, 90’s tyres are the same except they have an indent after the last number.
Keep up the good work my guy, holy, gigachad of the car revival section. You have just surpassed mustie1 and other respectable contestants
Got to be fair I just love everything about this guy I mean they are many dudes doing this much better or worse than him but he has my touch just makes me happy watching him work
Thanks for the channel Chris. Enjoy your content and look forward to more. Im not even a car guy. I just like skilled people showing how its done and learning from people who know their stuff. It's all very interesting. Gus is awesome. Your beautiful partner is a great singer and hope to hear more. Congratulations on your success. Well deserved.
Another great video, Chris. Love your work ethic and determination. Definitely one of my favorite channels. Thank you!
Oh man, I love you videos! Found them a few weeks ago and I love taking derelict crap and making it go too but not to your level. The tow truck , the little jet ski and today the blow boat!!! Fricken awesome. So low key and practical and having tons of fun😂👍💪🏻🥃
Just found your videos recently, your energy enthusiasm and good old know how has got me hooked ,there wouldn't be a real man in this world who doesn't love old tow trucks
Appreciate the time and effort you put into this man!
I love your energy your a get shit done kind of person . Your definitely right up there with vice grip garage in my opinion.
You rambling to me is good because you get indepth with what you have accomplished on your project. Good luck an keep up what you are doing ok 👍👍
Awesome old wrecker! I had an 87 K5 Blazer with that same 350 TBI engine. Man, that thing was a reliable beast! Had to sell her to make a couple house payments back in 08 so the wife and I could keep our house, still looking to replace it with another 87 or 88 K5. Those 350 TBI engines were so tough and reliable, maybe not a ton of power, but definitely got the job done....and still do! Thanks, bro, for another great rescue! Looks like you have a way to get more cool stuff home now. Love it! Oh, and major props to Jen for putting up with your obsession. I also found me a "car girl" and married her 18 years ago, so glad I did! Stay safe, brother.
Great video again, as usual!! Amazing how you can do great work on so many different types of motors and vehicles! I love watching your videos!!!
Man I just want to thank you for such a cool channel…big inspiration to all us humble diy’ers out here..:) I’m sure my wife is not as big a fan as me, mostly cause I keep bringing home silly projects..but hey, thanks again for the uploads…
Love how you are not afraid to tackle anything on wheels, great shows keep em coming.
Thank you for sharing your vast knowledge on all systems. Truly amazing to watch how you sort through things. You’ve got a fan for life!
I've been a subscriber since very early on. I follow a lot of will it run channels on youtube but I have to say your's is one of the best. Excellent content and quite entertaining. Well done!
This is becoming my favorite KZhead channel..I'm a huge fan of will it start and followups to worthy vehicles/boats /snowmobiles/AtVs that you do...I usually watch junkyard digs or vice grip garage or sleeperdude...but I just love how in depth you get and how well you explain everything. You really have taught me so much in the last year..I have seem every video and love Jen as well..u did great meeting an amazing girl that sings as butifuly as she and her old soul are..you both are so great..and thank you for the amazing content..rub gus' head for me and keep it up!!!
Can't thank you enough for watching the videos and awesome to hear that you learn a little along the way from them! Jen is certainly incredible!

Sleeperdude is a no go for me, to narsis... Puddins fab shop and andrew camarata is way better and NNKH for sure is gold👌
I love what you're doing. I too could happily spend hours vacuuming and cleaning to get that beautiful first start after decades. Fantastic!
Dude! Just found your channel and have been binge watching your vids. Youre a wizard with repairs. Your know-how is incredible! Keep doing what you're doing bro! Nice work 👏
Really fun to watch you do your very cool wrenching. I am super impressed with your no nonsense know how! Your video skills are second to none and the real life snippets are entertaining and fun. Love that little Gus and hopefully squirrelly boy will show up again from his travels. Looking forward to more videos about this wrecker!
Thanks for the time and effort. I really enjoy the road trip adventures. be great to see another classic pick up from afar and drive it back, with Jen and Gus. Be great to see you pop around to another well known "will it run" KZheadr for a visit during the trip back like you did with poll barn garage. JB
Great job as always and thanks for sharing. Couldn’t wait to get home from work and watch you work.♥️👍🏼 Love what you do and brings back a lot of memories from my younger days in the 70’s.
Who doesn't have a want or a need for a wrecker / tow truck? I love it!
Good work Chris on the mechanicals repairing and video production. Top notch as always. I like that you look at the tools you picked up on the tow truck and mention it that they're made in USA and the history of the company sometimes. Real high class and informative content there.
Just found your channel about 2 months ago and have watched just about every will it run video you have made. Absolutely love watching you bring stuff back to life. I have 4 boys, from 6 to 16. Really wanting to find something myself and teach them as we find out “will it run” lol… Question is, how and where do you come across these vehicles.. I don’t wanna get ripped off, so what’s a good price for something
You didn't ask me. But there's no good answer. The deals are almost always found offline. Gotta drive around out in farm country & down alleyways in cities. Find something that's not for sale on the internet.
I enjoy the fact you go all the way with the cars in terms of getting them running, a long video from you is always a good one.
I went to high school with that guy George’s daughter LOL recognized him immediately and I remember he always cooked AMAZING brisket.
thanks bro i cant get enough of this,im in Australia and i would love to do the same thing you are as im a mechanic to,when you heading to Australia mate?id love to show you some old rigs down here mate
That would be awesome to make it out there one day. Long flight though! I've seen some cool videos on Mack Trucks from guys in Australia
Pretty handy to have your own tow rig! Another great video, loved seeing this workhorse come back to life. Whatever happened to the dauntless Jeep? Thank you for the excellent content.
The Tow Truck is a "beaut, Clark !" Definite keeper. I love how you insert clips of the pups ! Keep up the great work! TIMBO
I love this guy's vibes would be cool hanging around him he's the type of person in the neighborhood that's fixes your go kart or mini bike when I was a kid
Who would've thought there was such good white paint under the layers of crud on the hood? I hope you'll do at least one more video on this truck, it very much seems to be deserving of some love. Awesome channel overall, too. 🤙
I just spent around 2 hours and 20 minutes watching your videos today and find myself desiring more 🤔 Can't say that about any of the other channels I'm subscribed to.
The only channel ill watch an hour+ video. You have the best mechanical channel on youtube.
Really love your general optimism in all you do. Seeing worth an beauty in everything around you.. Keep on doing that! Greeting from the Netherlands..:)
Love watching this guy wide open keeps my attention constantly speaking what he’s thinking shows honesty like th ex way you think buddy I could enjoy assisting in adventure with you lol keep it up some awesome finds diamonds in the rough are everywhere
59 years old and just lost some feeling left palm from smacking tools. I don't recommend using hands as hammers! Very refreshing to see someone who is conscious about others. Rare thing today.
You're a legend,I love the way you show your daily life and knowledge of fixing everything.
Great video as always, whats more impressive is with all of the work that you drag home, your yard stll looks very nice. Keep em' comin'
I've been thinking about getting a daily driver tow truck, vintage that is, for years... you got real lucky with that one and it looks and sounds like a strong runner! by the way I loved the drag strip, you got the most adorable dog in the world, I think everybody would agree with me, you just keep being you dude..
I think that wrecker was deffinately worth fixing up, she's got life left in her!!
Pretty cool video! I had an uncle that had his own towing business back in the day! He sadly passed away back in 2005! The business is gone, the building is long gone, it’s just an empty lot now with grass. You would never of known it was there. He was a great man and humble down to his core, salt of the earth kind of guy! I love history and with you going out doing these cool adventures are cool to watch. One fellow mechanic to another we’re more than just a paycheck, know our worth! Protect your peace! 😎
My first time watching your channel and I subbed right away after the first video. I really like that you kinda get into some different things, boats, trucks, some dragging and whatever else. You seem to really know your stuff and keep things interesting by not too much detail, but JUST enough while working on stuff and its cool to see you flip stuff, because thats what I like doing with Boats and RV's, make old shit new again so it gets a second chance at life. Cheers
That’s awesome it just turned rite over and practically was idling !! Got to watch the other videos.. really enjoying the channel .
I started watching your channel like a week ago. I have no clue about how a car works or any of its parts, but I love your content! I watch and try to learn a thing or two :D
I had plans today. But then I came across yer Videos. Needless to say I got nothing done today thanks to finding this channel. I guess that says it all.
Man! I can taste the rust and gasoline. Feel the dirt and grime in the eyeballs. Sooo many years ago. Can’t do it anymore but get charged up watching you do it. You are one tough son of a gun! Another huge score on the stainless drain pan!!! Looking forward to another video on the wrecker. This was a great one!
Just picked up ur channel a few weeks ago and I gotta say I stay entertained from start to finish. Great work work dude and wife's a doll. Hell even the dog is entertaining.✌️
Nice score on the tools! I saw that puller in that pan right away and that old pipe wrench is killer. I love scoring quality tools. Loving the wrecker too.
Just found your channel about two weeks ago, great videos with good information. All your spare parts is awesome! Keep up the great work.
Enjoy the things you post. Love the square body tow truck. You need it for all you do. Your basic technical knowledge of how things work surpasses what most have your age. Your a rare individual. I have restored a 1983 Silverado long bed with a camper shell on it. I drag raced at Atco during the 60"s. Grew up in Cherry Hill with the car seen.
ran out of my favorite videos, and just happened onto this one because of the D6 Cat... then I immediately recognized Andrew Camarada's home when you dropped the D6 off there.... that hooked me, a friend of Andrew is a friend of mine :)
Excited to see more! I love your motivated approach to problem solving.
Awesome video! I grew up and spent a lot of years 2 blocks from Dabal’s garage and towing so I was totally floored when I saw the truck on your video.
I must say seeing to tow truck brought me back i had the 1978 GMC High Siearra with the ready built tow body on it out of KC MO, loved it didnt have the wheel lift just the sling but great truck!!!!!!!!! Keep making your great videos, Gary
Came across your channel 3 weeks ago. watched a lot of your videos and totally enjoyed them. Great channel, keep up the good work from here in the UK.
Great work! Good to see a local guy that has interesting content. Driving by the El Bar at Front and Master really got my attention as my mom owned that bar when I was a kid.
Your knowledge and skills to get anything working are very impressive.
Lots of nostalgia in this video. I learned to drive in an 85 C30, that one was diesel, but the interior was identical. Low gear on that 4 speed is non synchro, that’s why it didn’t want to go in, and to find reverse aim for where a passengers kneecap would be.
