I think this last update hit the hardest because it involved money while others were just some features being removed
And let’s not forget that they even mentioned how you’ll earn more in the diamond pass….animated banner and queen….like look I can see the diamond pass being more valuable if it was purely cosmetic while the gold pass remained the same as its default version before the update, so it’ll give people who want either just progression or even getting cosmetics exclusive to the diamond pass

It is kind of impressive how Clash Royale manages to push out consistently bad updates progressively getting worse with each update. Whereas Clash of Clans and Brawl Stars Dev Teams are giving bangers after bangers absolutely wild.

pass royale ain't even the biggest issue in this game. as a f2p pass royale is mega mega value. way too much rewards for the cost. and stop winning abt pass royale everyone gets the same pass. if you wanna buy or don't buy. simple. the game itself is going downhill for the last few years. and you lot are worried that they change pass royale. fixing pass royale ain't gonna fix this game

Removing 2v2 from chests was the single most devastating blow to the game
They also matched the card lv to your tower lv. Bro the only reason i log in and play is cus of 2v2 and the only reason i upgraded cards is be cause of 2v2, for an advantage....Ruined my game experience forever, uninstalled faster than my eyes could blink, been playing the game for 7y straight and they made a stunt like this

@@samir_chosame i deleted the game once Update for Losers came out While i understood everyones frustrations on the shop & the passes, i never cared for either of them. What i care for is 2v2. Them removing chests & crowns was a huge L. idc if they’re bringing it back, it shouldn’t have happened in the 1st place, this tells me they’ll end of doing some other bs in a future update Also the fact all cards are capped at tournament standard is so dumb. I want to chill & play 2v2 i don’t wanna play a tournament type mode where all interactions are predictable I’m never redownloading this stupid game tbh. Supercell have shown their true colors here & there

I wonder when they will rearrange unlocked cards in arenas more logically and more fitting to arenas just as before, though. This could've done because of certain cards might be dominating in lower arenas however it just doesn't feel right to look at them.

lets not forget how in the previous month for ranked games,it was mega draft challenge game...meaning ur rank skills is based on luck. i cant tell you how much that sucked and made earning crowns was harder

adding level 14 made me quit, like what is even the point in having higher levels? it took so long to obtain a max 13 levels deck and finally able to have equal games in ladder, then they tell me all of it is gone, i have to upgrade all cards again, it is a total scam for money. i believe this is also the same reason of most players quiting

Der grösste Fehler von Supercell war damals als die Legendäre Truhe rauskam. Dass sich legendäre Karten nicht mehr so selten angefühlt haben, ihr Seltenheitsgrad geschrumpt wurde.
I quit pretty soon after level 14. Basically undid all of my free to play progress and put me back at square one, that and nerfing the one deck I had managed to get levelled up to oblivion. Evos, champions, and level 15 just make me never want to come back. Maybe for the fun challenges and party mode games

What made emotes worse, was that there was no party modes. They were laughing as they stripped you of your hard earned trophies.

It's particularly annoying when their card levels are much more higher than yours and they beat you despite playing like shit. I have level 12-13 cards when I had left the game a few years ago. Not a strong match to all level 14 (possibly 15 in the future) players.

It’s funny that you can see other supercell games have learned for the often failures of the clash royal dev team. The clash of clans dev team took 2 years to develop the clan capital and didn’t overhype it at all. Brawl stars also drops small sneak peaks here and there making sure not to overhype it but keeping the community interested I just think as someone who plays all 3 it’s interesting to see the strengths and weaknesses of the different dev teams.
Its funny how in Clash of clans there were only ''controversial'' updates but Clash Royale has bad Ones
The worst update of Clash are the mediocre ones. BH10 is considered Mediocre as, although they heavily fixed matchmaking, They never fixed the Loot system
@@chillstoneblakeblast3172 they did fix it tho. No more loot limit. No longer just sitting around doing nothing bc of loot. I and many others actually play the mode now. I only somtimes played it and only on my main account. Now i enjoy playing with all 5. Also much faster to get the star bonus (which you could say is the replacement for win rewards). Its no longer basically luck dependent and just praying your opponent doesn’t do well (why do you think most people just spammed stuff night witches and left? There was almost no skill involved as the loot depended on how your opponent did, not how well you did). All that completely fixed.

I haven't touched the game since the big overhaul and new champions. The thing that ruined it for me was mega knight and nerfs to the electro wizard and witch. Also spell reworks. Also crown tower levels are shit. Its crap now and I refuse to play because I don't want to learn the new mechanics because they have been force fed down my throat.

For things like these is that I left the game. They constantly put out bad updates, bringing stupidly OP cards or making the game even worse. I knew I had enough when they gave us the OP Monk, and later on buffed the Mighty miner. They don't know how to make champions, but it's to late to back off .

And now here we are with level 15 and elite cards, only 50,000 to upgrade a card, hahaha! I'm sure this will make the next list.
Next clash royale update: we added a new battle pass tier, the flawless diamond! Costs $50 and has the same rewards as diamond tier and nerfed lower tiers, free tier now takes cards and gold rather than giving. You can only get 50 tokens a day from challenges, and we buffed firecracker and electro giant
They've kinda fixed Clan Wars 2 now, it's honestly possible to win fully with a small clan, my clan which is just about 10 of my friends which is hella inactive have won wars fairly easily.

I quit a few years ago but come to check the waters once in a while. It seems like from the season tokens to weekly challenges Supercell is trying to implement modern game techniques to Clash Royale which simply does not work and breaks the game. Also there are too many cards used for the exact same thing. Dart goblin, archers, firecracker, mega minion and minions are all 3 elixir cheap air defense cards. Now try to balance them so that all are balanced ( impossible ).

Havoc, as you are a big content creator that often makes videos about clash Royale, could you give your opinion on the upcoming level 15?
The main problem with cr is also, I didn't play for 2,3 years and the home screen or better the all the menu's are such messes. Why are there like a thousand buttons en multiple gamemodes, popups everywhere like wth. Its so damn messy.....

I usually play 2v2 in clash royal but they then made all the cards capped at lev 11. Not i cant even use my max lev cards which is kinda annoying
This 'Card Evolution' will either make or break the game. After the new pass, if the new update is poor then they will lose so many players

Turning the game from great updates from time to time into seasons was the worst thing they did to the game
because they did it the P2W way, just look at Coc fir example. Gold pass isnt expensive, good rewards on free way, Sometimes free cosmetocs etc.. Brawl stars Brawl pass is even better than both, Literally more value than buying the entire shop, Free players can get it too, Huge reards Clash royale just went the generic force the player to pay way
I guess you’re right but there’s another problem with doing seasons..1-the updates are all becoming bland with 1 or 2 noticeable ones a year..2-there’s no hype for new arenas because they were a reskin of legendary arena and now they added them all which felt like nothing..3- the balance changes are too damn far from each other..there’s probably more reasons but this is what remember right now.
Right after slash royale, after i had half my deck upgraded to lvl 13, they announced lvl 14 along with champions. That made me quit.

Ever since the clan wars 2 update came out I have stop playing and delete my account even I was king level 11 clash royal really got worst since the day thy add that clan wars. I'm really disappointed in them a lot.
They should've called the Update for Losers the Update for New Players. I've played CR on and off throughout its lifespan, and I believe I made a new account around the time of the Update for Losers (it was the season with the archers boot camp) and in my opinion progression was pretty fair (it probably would've gotten worse if I'd played more though; I've stopped again, I believe after bats evolution)
im so glad i stopped playing before the Update For Losers... i still have the app, but will never return back. Just the clip of the main new screen layout is enough to keep me away
the fact that you can not get legendaries until arena 11 is absolutely vile
Could be my imagination but back then when I was playing clash royale, whenever I wanted to push my trophies to unlock new cards and new arenas, after a few victories, my opponents had exactly the right cards to counter my deck over and over again.
Btw, if that happened to anyone, please let me know so that I may know I'm not crazy 🤣
It isnt your imagination. The second you hit your 4th or 5th match of the day every other game you play will be decks that purposefully counter you. I don't understand how the clash royale team and clash of clans team are part of the same company when one is literally the best dev team for a mobile game that exists and the other is a team of money hungry thieves that hate the player more than anything.

im pretty sure it's luck. there are just so many cards now that your opponent will almost always have 1-2 cards which counter your cards, same goes for you

I think the biggest downfall update was the cards to where they moved all the classic cards to random spots on the random arenas like Sparky was originally in Arena 5 (Builders Workshop) now its in Electro valley which makes sense ngl but There are so many random cards in random arenas that have they're own system and they just fucked that up

The update for losers made my level 1 account that I put a lot of time and money into completely unusable. Needless to say I will never be playing that game ever again.
