  • Who sharpens the drill bits and lathe cutting blades? Is it one person in each shop who’s job it is to sharpen everything or is it the person running that particular machine? How often are these things sharpened & can we see a video of them sharpening the tools? Just a thought, inquiring minds want to know. 👍🏽Nice video today too.

  • Love the dirt floors. You have to ask why the wheel failed in the first place, bad engineering ,bad maintenance , or maybe both. Well there might be a problem with the second life steel, has it had a bad history,who knows

  • Cracks will always appear when steel is cold pressed. It is better when steel is hot pressed or at least heat treated.🤔 Or you leave it that way so that you're sure that there is always work and income of course....😅

  • Que bueno que hay mucha personas trabajando asi tendria que ser en todas las fabricas oh en todos los trabajos y que haya makinas automaticas que les quitan el trabajo a las personas se entiende y la otra que sea bien pago y no tantas horas que haya otros turnos y tambien con pocas horas asi todo el mundo tanga trabajo y que haya oficios es asi asi las personas tienen trabajos todas yo me refiero siempre y cuando los talleres sean asi de esa forma y aca en Argentina dejo de esistir y no tendria que ser asi tendria que ser asi las industrias para que todos trabajen y aya escula para aprender oficios saludos de Argentina

  • Well it keeps everybody in a job 😂 the rest of the world moved to 10 stud axels decades ago probably for this reason. Bet the grade of steel used for wheels is worlds apart from that used to make ships 🤷‍♂️

  • When he is cutting with the torch, he keeps the flame too close to the Material. The torch tip should be at least a 1/4" away from the material being cut . It would give him a cleaner cut infact it should fall out it shouldn't have to be sledge hammered out.

    • Something like this doesn't appear to me to be that critical. But I suspect that for many other projects they are actually doing a lot of measurement off camera and using light markings that don't show up on camera such that it looks like they are just eyeballing it.

  • if you know what friction welding is you can fuse those 2 parts together with friction rubbing them against pice each other till they turn white it will be on a solid unit no need for stick welding and its faster and cheaper as you are not using welding rods, you just need to pre your lathe with 2 3 or 5 jaws self-centering in 18 " the opposite side can be on a spindle that runs the opposite direction اگر آپ جانتے ہیں کہ رگڑ ویلڈنگ کیا ہے تو آپ ان 2 حصوں کو رگڑ کے ساتھ ملا سکتے ہیں اور انہیں ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ رگڑ سکتے ہیں جب تک کہ وہ سفید نہ ہوجائیں یہ ایک ٹھوس یونٹ پر ہوگا جس میں چھڑی ویلڈنگ کی ضرورت نہیں ہوگی۔

  • With the price of welding helmets extremely cheap these days you would think they would all have one instead of some 20 year old hand held one. Oh and a mig welder as well. Not much quality control there.
