  • fun fact: if you put literally everything in a level at a wrong spot (including everything that's already there and you can move) you get a dark star - collect all the dark stars and you get a different ending

    • just to confirm if anyone else is wondering, yes this is an actual thing, there's even two other of the chicken toys you only get to see while playing in a dark star mode playthrough because some of the level layouts are slightly different because they use the previous level's end as part of their start.

The diploma is the biggest one BECAUSE it represents the growth of the character you never saw. Apparently according to the internet it's also different backgrounds, but eh, to me both the characters come from rich backgrounds, because in my country having a house as big as the first one is already way beyond middle class

    • Eh, tbf she moved in with a man previously. I had thought her mom was moving in with her at first. The photo she kept of the guy and the shared bedroom in his apartment make it pretty clear that they were in an intimate relationship. Maybe she was bi, maybe she took a while to realize that she was never into men to begin with. Regardless, I can see why it took a sec to realize that it was her gay partner moving in.

    • @@3nowStorm i mean yeah i can understand that, but the shift from brown to white stands out a lot, enough to wonder if something's up. that and game logic where details like this often are used to point out things to notice like something you can interact with or things they want you to remember for one reason or another. it's more the fact that no one i watched seemed to wonder why boxes were different until a good while into the level because of what they were unpacking.

    • part of its likely that, but if you notice the rock climbing gear and sports equipment suddenly disappear about the same time she starts having pain meds and mobility/health aids around the house, so there's a theory that an injury happened as well as the usual artist pains of the back problems and wrist brace appearing over the years. only the devs know for sure, but its all great bits of environmental storytelling.

    • @@meepbeep2464 repetitive stress injuries from sitting too long in one position and typing or drawing for long hours can build up, lots of people think of carpal tunnel syndrome but forget what a bad unsupportive chair or sitting like a caveman hunched over your desk for hours at a time can do to your lower back. its part of why those adjustable desks that raise up so you can sit or stand have become more popular so people have options to change positions while working. reminding yourself to take breaks is important though, change positions, go for a walk around the room, stretch and shake out a little so that you don't cramp up and have less fatigue and less damage from sitting and working long stretches of time. also goes for gamers and office workers, we all do horrible things to our bodies without realizing it and find out only after your hands start getting tingly and numb once in a while, or you start getting back and leg pains. gotta take care of yourself so you can do what ya love longer!

    • There's not much need for it in this game since you can immediately teleport everything in place if you want two things to trade places. In real life though, it's the optimal way of doing things because of how much time and effort it takes to switch things around once everything is in place.

My grandpa had some problems regarding it in the tub, so he literally just sit on a board that he put on the sides of the tub, the board in question was from the walls of his sister's old house that was demolished ( The house was like 60 years old ). My grandma just uses flip flops on the shower lol. It's practically free.
