I'm not a fan of either club, but I went to the derby at the Emirates last September. It ended as a 1-1 draw but the general atmosphere was like nothing I've ever experienced. You could sense the hatred coming from both fans before, during and after the game and they were all just so passionate.

here is a little fact spurs fans dont like, spurs has only been a north london club since 1965, before 1965 they were a middlesex club, yet the spurs fans still say they were a north london club since they started and they call gunners deluded.
Arsenal moved from one part of London to another. We didn't, that's the difference. So what we were part of Middlesex when we formed? The fact is we have never moved.

London came to us, as did the Woolwich Wanderers. Arsenal were upped and moved right across London by the convicted fraudster Norris (later banned from life for football) who then managed to bribe them up into the first division at our expense... that's the classy history your club was founded on and it's never looked back! ;)

Tottenham wasn't even part of london until the 60's. If we really want to get down to it, there's only one true North London club, and that's Leyton Orient- the club whose territory arsenal ACTUALLY moved into. Either way you cut it, Arsenal have been north London longer than tottenham.
