  • You are a very professional and polite young man, with considerably valuable knowledge. This sort of training makes so much sense, because when we consider children who never lift weights, but are always outside playing, moving around in so many ways, they are very flexible and fit. This movement training takes that to such a higher level - whole body training where muscle groups work together through the exercise instead of isolating a single (or two) muscle group on its own. Do you recommend someone who wants to start movement training to be experienced first with weight training to strengthen each body part first? Also: I have a lower back issue (erector muscles along the base of the spine) that are always getting injured. I am healing from such an injury now - once I fully recover, what exercises do you recommend to strengthen this area (I tend to neglect this part - which is why I get injured so easily, I think!)? THANK YOU for your efforts to teach this! You could do a whole line of dvds - they would SELL!! : )

    • James, in my opinion, the best thing is to drop weights. If you're not in sports (that need specific exercises like deadlifts, snatches, C&J), the best thing you can do is to start in calisthenics. If you want some iron, go for calisthenics + kettlebell training. And for your back, bridges always!

  • ti was extremely helpful. because I was born with lat feet. and when I was young I didn't know how to walk or run properly. I've spent most of my life trying to correct this. and after getting my left knee injured a few years back in karate. I've had knee problems since. I want to be fit and healthy and happy. but I am afraid of damaging myself more. I will take you advice and just focus on d basics. like walking properly, strength training and flexibility. it has gotten better. some I used to have hip and back problems before. walking properly is really an art. thank you for your videos and your time! its saved my body

  • Eero, very impressive workout, organic style of development, one question if I may ask, how do you fund yourself as a living, do you have a job, or is it from your inheritance or some sponsored financiak support? One of the main issues is to get the work life balance, both for time/space and funding to continue a program of workout effectively ? Thank you very much for inspiration.

  • Thanks for this video! How do you combine basic strength with movement training? I feel overwhelmed by the variety of different training approaches... I would love to combine calisthenics with movement (Ido) and conditioning. How do you train? all in one session or split by days? Kind salutations from Germany! Norman

    @normanquednau@normanquednau7 жыл бұрын
    • I work on different areas of fitness in their own workouts but there are many ways to do it. Doing everything at once can be too much. For example in Movement 20XX the workouts are split into 1. strength & mobility and 2. movement workouts - this tends to work for most people

  • Hi, I mainly trained in calisthenics and mma in the past, and I have shoulder injury, I still can do all exercises, but it is a bit harder, lost some mobility and my right arm gets tired faster because of the shoulder. I am not looking to build huge body like bodybuilders, but still looking to build some muscles and hope to fix my shoulder. Looking to work out mainly from home, was looking at your program,do you think it will work for me?

    @XaocXIII@XaocXIII7 жыл бұрын
    • Hi XaocXIII, Movement 20XX is a bodyweight program and it's great to do at home (I've received lots of positive feedback from users who do it 100% at home). I would recommend getting a doorway pull up bar though so you can do all of the content and pulling exercises. You can expect to build size & strength and the mobility work can greatly benefit your shoulder

  • This is an awesome video, vahva! I'm actually quite out of shape, like a good 50lbs. I was wondering exactly where I should start since I am really interested in movement training? Should I work on shedding the pounds first or just jump right in? Should I do other forms of exercise, Iike weight training? Sorry for asking so many questions. I'm new to all of this, but I really want to be healthy in every way. 😄

    @cici2219@cici22197 жыл бұрын
    • Thank you Ci Ci, no problem! You can start right away with the easier exercises (like the monkey and bear walks), but it will be much easier and enjoyable if you shed the pounds first. I would recommend doing lots of cardio (like walking). Here is also my "how to eat to get fit" video: kzhead.info/sun/bNSrZamurqycaX0/bejne.html and my abs20xx.com diet guide.

Do you think it's possible to achieve planch movements, handstand movements, lever, etc with just 2-3 days with that type of training every week? (Ofc it takes a long time, i know)

    @sigurd2498@sigurd24987 жыл бұрын
    • It depends on many different factors how good you will get at them (it takes more time and a certain body structure to pull off the full planche) but it's definitely possible to get good or great at handstands and levers with 2-3 days per week

      @Vahvafitness@Vahvafitness7 жыл бұрын
    • Hey Bryson: don't let weaknesses stop you. Start small, and you'll always make progress. If you have coordination issues, I'd suggest breaking down the movement as well as performing single reps at the beginning (so perform your chosen exercise once, regroup and concentrate, and then perform another repetition, slowly increasing the number of repetitions). If body control is an issue, I'd suggest strengthening weaker body parts (notably glutes/core really help with control issues).
