There has never in history been a better music selection for a video
Sade’s “Smooth Operator” would’ve been waaay better.

(Just dont do it if you dont know) A dry sump system in a bobcat machine uses an external reservoir to store oil, which is then pumped to lubricate the engine. This setup allows for better oil control and prevents oil starvation during extreme maneuvers, like tipping forward and driving in reverse to load the machine onto a trailer. When the machine tilts, a traditional wet sump system might experience oil pooling in one area, leading to engine damage due to inadequate lubrication. In contrast, the dry sump system's external reservoir ensures a steady supply of oil even when the machine is at an angle, reducing the risk of engine damage during maneuvers.
Obviously an educated response....well done!
Actually, most of the little ones don't. I've worked on some really nice ones that had it and was surprised to see it. Maybe they started realizing they needed it and started doing it on newer machines, but I wrenched for 20 years and rarely ran into it. Actually, I had to replace many hydraulic pumps and engines because of Maneuvers like this.
you're right about dry sump systems. but how confident are you that this machine has that system?
Thanks for the info Mr. Bobcat!😂
He eased all worries for you guys.
Who says you need a trailer or a ramp. I’ve been a heavy equipment operator for over 30 years and I’ve had to load mini excavators kind of the same way onto trailers and dump truck beds but never a skid steer. Nicely done brother.
Excellent song, ZZ Top, to go along with the loading of Bobcat with such skill!
@christian9472, did you know that ZZ Top is still doing concerts ?
It’s good. But Sade’s “Smooth Operator” would have been much, much better.
Thats pure skill. Something you learn when no one else is around and you can play and practice. Tip my hat to you bro.
My exact thought 🤣
Easy
Я тоже когда-то работал. Точно так же делал, когда никого нету.😂😂😂
Yeah, that's why any respectable equipment operator puts down ramps. Doing that puts strain on the oil pump, the fuel pump, and if something breaks, he's stranded.
That wild but this guy sure knows how to operate his equipment.

We need vids! Someone must have that!

Does this not cause oil from the crankcase to seep into the cylinders? Or is it just "fu*k it we ball" 😅
I was thinking the same thing.
Peor, puede ser que el chupador de la bomba de aceite quede descubierto y el motor funcione todo ese tiempo sin lubricación...
No..... It only seeps down your back, into your seat 💺.
Yeah the oil goes where the oil shouldn't go. They decided it wasn't their problem.
That's the least of the worries... He's got about 20 seconds before the rod bearings are starved and begin to gall.

@shanefowler3504 sure bout that I've rolled one started smoking oil got on top of piston yeah it was bad
@@paulsimms1449I watched a reefer engine run on its side for a while after a semi rolled over across the highway ahead of me. it was kinda funny. it would scream away burning it's own oil then the revs would come down to a "put... put... put..." and I thought ok it's finally gonna die... but no. then it revved up like crazy again. did that for like 3 minutes, rev way up then slowly idle down over and over. some crazy mofo was between the back of the cab and the front of the trailer with the access doors open trying to kill it. no way I was getting anywhere near that thing. it eventually just put putted itself to death finally. would have loved to video it but myself and other bystanders were trying to get the two drivers out through the windshield in their t-shirts and flip flops in December. The co driver had been asleep in the bunk while the driver was also asleep while driving. one of them had a gash on his head and the other guys finger was kinda dangling but they were alive

Hydraulics, also the engine oil needing to be on bottom of the pan to scavenge oil properly. Unless folks are gunna put a few holes allow oil be pumped up like a Harley dyna setup for wheelie ,then they should operate it at that angle. 2 strokes can operate in any position. 4strokes need the oil pumped threw motor at all times. Also can operate in any position long as they can get oil at all times.
