Box blades are all gone nowadays. I know a concrete guy that decided to turn it over and just b the boss but he had to buy a skid steer because nobody does the box anymore. That dude was smooth as butter on it

If you’re talking about grading on a large construction site the thing all the farmers call a box blade is a skip loader with a Gannon box. Gannon is a brand but it’s on for instance if it’s a John Deere it would be a 210, skip loaders such as these are used regularly finishing grading all the tight areas the blade can’t get. As well as many other applications. But I have a box blade for my compact tractor at home and it comes in handy no doubt

I just suscribed, I’m trying to get more efficient with a box blade can you explain his technique a little on how circles help.

Hey man, thank you for the subscription and the nice comment, the circles are really just a way to dress the grade up at the end, certainly you can get good enough to fill in low spots as well as cut down high spots while going in circles but it is honestly more of just a dress up at the end, I will try to do a more in-depth video on the whole process of box blade gradingstart to finish, thanks again good luck with your business. God bless.

i understand the importance of a boxblade if you only have a tractor, but you could have easily done that with the skid steer... seems inefficient to be using two machines, and two people for a job one person could do with the skid steer. My great uncle always said invite the water in, and ask it to leave.
