Forgiveness being more practical than a feeling and completely opposed to justice. I think full forgiveness is voiding all deserving punishment and consequences in turn supersedes justice. IMO it’s a tangible act more than a personal coping mechanism. But it’s hard because justice is so important. I mean we can’t have forgiven serial killers running lose, lol. Maybe theres a measurable effectiveness in full forgiveness though. Here in Brazil, we have many bad politicians who don't have 0.1% of the capacity demonstrated by Zelensky in dealing with all the complex issues that war produces and still maintaining a strong, articulate, and assertive stance on everything that needs to be done. He is a rare leader who should greatly pride the Ukrainian people in this difficult moment.
