    • Same here. As a Norwegian, I'd only come across her name now and then, but never thought of checking her out. Then I stumbled upon a sketch with Korman and Conway here on youtube that I really enjoyed (Korman just won me over with the way he was cracking up), without even knowing at first that it was Carol Burnett's show. Now I've been enjoying lots of their sketches, greatly appreciative of both the quality acting and quality humor!

    • Salvation through Jesus Christ is the ULTIMATE TREASURE. And to God, all who come to Christ through faith are HIS ULTIMATE TREASURE. Matthew 13:44-46 44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, *and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.* 45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. 46 When he found one of great value, *he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.* Philippians 2:5-11 5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 *who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.* 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Titus 2:11-14 11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 *who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. ---God, in the person of Jesus Christ, left Heaven for a time to purchase His prized treasure. 2 Corinthians 4:3-15 3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. 5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 *But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.* 8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed- 10 always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11 For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death is working in us, but life in you. 13 And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak, 14 knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you. 15 For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God. Deuteronomy 7:6 6 For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. *The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.* Ephesians 2:10-18 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. 11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12 *That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:* 13 *But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.* 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; 16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. 18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
