My daddy was laughing his head off when he saw this skit back in 1978. I still remember him laughing to this day. RIP daddy. We miss you.
great memory
I have wonderful memories of my loving parents. They were married 61 years and the absolute BEST. ..❤❤
@@maddyhayes617 Sound like nice parents. BUT this is about a business man (Harvey Korman) doesn't know what he's in for when he stops for a hot dog and a milkshake at a shop run by The Oldest Man (Tim Conway).

BEING 91, I'M SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE SEEN ALL THE GREAT COMEDIANS AND HEARD ALL THE GREAT COMPOSERS. THANK YOU, KZhead, FOR KEEPING TIM CONWAYALIVE IN MY MEMORY. MY SIDES ARE HURTING FROM LAUGHING.
They don't make them like that anymore. Talent, pure talent. RIP Tim betcha heaven is laughing their asses of now.
🤣🤣🤣
He was the funniest man that ever walked the earth! God bless you Tim Conway, you will be surely missed.
Hes à christian too.
There's nobody like these guys anymore
There is a what I can do that is the right to be a bit of a sunroom and get a new one for me to come to my party tonight around 5 or so I can go out for a bit of time and then go home and get a new one tomorrow morning if you can get it done before you go home and then go home and then go right back and then go back with me please and if you need anything else I can go back
Why?
This skit will be funny 500,000 years from now. It will bring smiles and laughter to trillions of future people. What a beautiful legacy Tim & Harvey left for the world.
Tim Conway was a comic genius!! Hysterical
These 2 cracked each other up. LOVED THEM! REAL COMEDY AND NO FILTH!
Hi how are you doing
I wonder how many times they had to reshoot these sketches because Harvey Korman couldn't stop laughing. Carol Burnett had a real eye for comic talent
what do you mean no filth? that apron is covered in stains!
Now this is what comedy should be!!! Tim and Harvey are just too brilliant!!!
It was genuinely funny without running anyone down. Perfection back then!
I was almost late for school watching this scene as a kid! 😂😆RIP Harvey Korman and Tim Conway, they're both laughing together again now
People of the world have really changed... I stayed up at night watching it... The homework stopped and then did the homework after the show....

Seeing Tim Conway make Harvey Korman go hysterical was priceless!
Hello Barbara How are you doing today?
Not even 45 seconds in, already cracking a smile on both of them. I love how these two always tried to make each other break character. What a great duo.
RIP Tim Conway 1933-2019...You made EVERYone laugh, and not just Harvey.
Sure did...& still does, through the magic of KZhead!
Him and Harvey Korman were fantastic. I miss those two guys

My favorite variety show in the late 60's and 70's! Brought laughter and joy to our family.
My condolences to Tim Conway's family. He made me laugh until I cried. One of the best ever.
Two of the best comedians EVER. Saw them years ago in Fort Myers. Did a sketch of the "oldest man" running the train station (I think). As soon as Tim's "oldest man's voice" was heard off-stage, the audience came unglued. Best part was Tim trying (and succeeding) to crack Harvey up.
You were lucky to be there!
They never could keep a straight face with each other and the rest of the cast couldn't either. If they were with Tim in the sketch it was hard enough not to laugh.
@@robertschiffler555 so much like Carol and Lucy working together...The BEST❤❤❤❤
Tim by himself was a freaking comedy genius. He was unreal! Harvey by himself was just so unbelievably talented! Together they were just out of this world! They had absolutely no peers, and they could do no wrong when they were together. They'll never be another pair like these two. Thank God for KZhead so will never forget them❤❤❤❤
RIP Tim Conway, 85. Thanks for making us laugh.
There was only one!

I am 58 yrs old and I never get tired of these two. Especially when Harvey can't hold his laughter

RIP Mr. Tim Conway & thank you for all the laughs.
One of the best episodes of Tim as the old man
Everything from the Carroll Burnette show with Harvey to the movies with Don Knotts Tim conway is a comedy legend
I miss quality tv programs. Those were the good old days. Always looked forward to Carols weekly show. So funny.
I know they can't read this but I owe them a thank you for all the laughs they brought me. Watching Harvey laugh made me wake my wife in my own fits of stupidity.
man I remember watching this with my grandmother we never missed an episode still love it
This is funny, I don't care who you are😂😂😂😂
Wish we had tv like this today.I would enjoy staying home with my mother and watch her laugh..good times..we have200 channels now and nothing worth watching
Well sadly today, you can't have any type of "family" show without trying to push some political or social agendas. If I see any TV show that remotely tries to push political agendas, transgenderism, homosexuality, or any type of distorted/perverted morality, then I turn it off right then and there. I'm tired of Hollywood trying to subliminally brainwash society via TV with how THEY think you should live your life. What was great back then is that even though most of the cast members from The Carol Burnett Show and Starting Night Live were staunch liberals, they didn't try and push their political views or opinions on the viewer's. They just wanted to make you laugh and entertain you....which is the way it should ALWAYS be!
TV is nothing like what we remember. Carol burnett was one of the best
RIP Tim.... Your comedy will never be forgotton. A true legend!!!!!
I saw this as a kid. When he said, "That's not ice cream, that's mashed potatoes." I lost it. The concept of him struggling to scoop hard ice cream which turned out to be soft mash potatoes totally killed me.
"I never seen a place like this in my life! " It's the only one on the block! Classic!😂😂😂😂 RIP Tim & Harvey!
As a kid, I watched this episode with my sister and brother in law on it's original airing. To this day we all call a hot dog a hot "dag"🤣🤣🤣
Hi how are you doing
Love it.
RIP Tim Conway. Thank you for making us laugh for so long!
This is comedy at its best, Tim and Harvey were one of a kind.
One of the great and family oriented comedies of our time with no racism , cussing or killing or abuse showing
RIP Tim Conway. One of the very best!
RIP Tim you will be remembered as a comedy Legend
Poor Harvey, constantly working not to collapse into total laughter at Tim!! 😅😅😅 "I don't want twelve! I only WANT ONE!" "It looks like A RECORD!" "Well, you're eating an Oscar Muriel." 😂😂😂😂😂 Oh wow, I did not know that Tim just passed away 😢😢😢❤
Dad and I watch The Carol Burnett Show when I was young and we never laughed so hard! That is what real comedy was. Tim Conway and Harvey Korman were the best !!!
Seeing Tim make Harvey laugh never gets old. :)

Always makes me smile.
caitlinjane92 That’s so true. He sure made people happy TV is not like it used to be. Rest in peace Tim Conway
Such a fond memory
Who has the balls to have a decent variety show and two incredible comedians like these guys!!
Priceless , never gets old . We don't have too much of that kind of humor anymore . Plane and simple . We need more of this . Laughter is good medicine , according to Proverbs . Sure miss the good old days . One thing they did was to keep their acts clean and decent . You don't have to be vulgar and obcene to be funny . Hat's off to the good old days . ps . The funniest show was when Tim was a dentist and Harvey was a patient in the chair . O my word , l crack up thinking about it . LOLLOL
Tim Conway is probably one of the top 3 comedians to ever live . GOOD CLEAN FUN.
poor Harvey. he fought a losing battle. comedy legends.
Hello Debbie How are you doing today/
@@smiththomson95 NOT A DATING SITE. GET LOST!!!!
When comedy wasn't filthy but truly funny . I wish it was like this now. Thank goodness for reruns . My daughter , that is 9 , loves this show .
Sarah Kay You said it. I do not have cable and do not muss it.
Sarah Kay Maybe if some of the people on this show had not been in other comedy programs that were filthy, we might have truly funny comedy today.
Ever see some of the outtakes? They got naughty (but were always funny)!
I don't mind the "filthy" part as long as it's funny ("We're the Millers" and "Clerks" come to mind). But so much of what passes for comedy these days isn't funny. I'm a late Gen-Xer and I'm beginning to think that my generation was the last to have have a sense of humor.
@@BassPlayerSusan As much as I've grown tired of "Millennial" bashing, I can see your point. Too many people these days are under the impression that comedy needs to be "edgy" in order to be funny, not realizing that humor needs to have both heart AND brains in order to work to its fullest extent. Even George Carlin offered his audiences a clean routine or two on the Ed Sullivan Show before going off and doing his own thing, foul language and all, elsewhere.
What's a hot dog without a bun? A lonely weenie.
I cracked up when Tim said, "a lonely weenie" in response to Harvey's rhetorical question, "what's a hot dog without a bun?" Hilarious stuff!
Good stuff.
I mean, he's not wrong...
...."Can you eat 12 of these?"
Some of my earliest memories were my dad sitting in his chair doubled over in laughter every time he watched this show. Conway is unrivaled.

@@gamercadance8720 nope, sorry. Harvey died May 29, 2008. RIP Harvey & Tim, thanks for all the laughs! ❤️❤️❤️
They were the best!💜👑
It's interesting that Carol would let Harvey and Tim do these sketches without her being in them. She let them shine.
That’s the sign of a true star who didn’t mind sharing the limelight. Both she and Tim were true comedians with Harvey almost always being the fall guy and I think he enjoyed it that way also.

I think she knew they had something special to share for us and she could laugh even more with us. Great times indeed.
Harvey never knew what Tim was going to do ~ with improv
it's called taking a break ;)
Funny stuff Hollywood can never ever make anything as funny as these shows
When Harvey said it was a Rush, I didn't expect another stamp and ink pad to come out, and to slowly stamp the order Rush... hilarious! Good clean fun without bathroom or gutter language. Also, I noticed that Tim was more intent than usual to make Harvey lose it, which happened several times in this sketch, loved it! Even from behind you could tell Harvey was losing it as his shoulders shook in laughter. Great stuff!
I know it was the whole cast of characters, but Tim Conway was the best comedian on T.V., no foul language, nothing sexist, good clean family entertainment...and look where we are now...
Made me laugh as a kid in the 70's. I remember my grandma laughing too. Thank You Tim Conway for those great memories.
Tim Conway was a delightfully wicked terror, for sure. Every time he was on camera with Harvey, he would spare no effort to destroy the man's control. And the longer Harvey held back his giggling and laughing fits, the harder Tim would hammer at him until he finally broke, and when he did, he'd be on the verge of tears. This show is ageless, classic comedic gold.
A TRUE GREAT IN OUR TIME, WHO NEVER LET HIS COMIC GENIUS RETIRE INTO THE DARK TUNNEL OF LOW ENERGY.

I know it's a year later now, but even reading your post about the dynamic between these brilliant comedians, brought me to tear. Still missing Tim, R.I.P. , but his sense of humor was certainly handed down to his son, Tim, Jr. who I have been listening to on the radio for over 10 years. Currently on 640KFIAM in Los Angeles on the I-Heart radio network.

Tim n Harvey are making everybody laugh in heaven !!!!!
"A mind like a steel trap"
I used to sit down with my family every week after dinner to watch The Carol Burnett Show in the seventies and we all just laughed so hard we could hardly stand it. Harvey and Tim were great together, especially when they would start laughing. I miss the show.
Karen P good old , "Days" For Sure 😊.👍
I remember watching this every Saturday night. At the very tearful ending of the final show every fan must have sat there for minutes and thought "wait... There won't be anymore?" And there wasn't. Television has never been as fun or family oriented since then. Does anyone remember the Lawrence Welk show?
Harold Covey still on PBS.
We watched that every Saturday night. Never missed a show.
I was born in the late 1970s, so this was all before my time. It's been only in the past few years that I've begun to appreciate stuff like the "Carol Burnett Show". While some of it does seem dated, stuff like this bit is timeless.
Damnit he is gone 😭😢 from his fans but yet he is not forgotten from his fans. Tim Conway you were born in December 15th 1933, I too your fan and I was born in December 15th, 1966. You love to destroy poor Harvey Korman especially when you were the dentist. And poor Harvey Korman had an accident in the dental seat. Oh poor Tim Conway you are so highly missed but yet you are still living in our hearts and minds. Carol Burnett and Vicky Lawrence miss you too and extremely both were on the Carol Burnett Show. 😵😖✝️🙏😫😭😭😵😨😞
I loved watching the Carol Burnett show!!! To make people laugh and be happy. And no cussing. Respect to one another is gone. God help us🙏
These are priceless. Just imagine how funny and simple at the same time. And no one need to use the “F-WORD” amazing. 🧚♀️💫
F word? I know the F word FUNNY!
old humor is better than today’s humor
I just watched a comedy show from Britian. They said the F word 24 times in a half hour.
Who would thumbs down this?? It's pure gold!! 😄😄😆
