  • I've listened to a lot of these while writing, and this one actually is by far the best for creative work. It feels intentional enough to listen to, but not so self-assertive your mind can't wander. It's stimulating but not distracting, mellow but not boring or saccharine like most 'relaxing' playlists. Really excellent.

  • (in response to lofi hiphop) As a 53 year old I would like to add: 1- Drink at least 1 lt of water every day, and stay away from carbonated drinks, and any other kind of bottled juices. Nothin replaces water, not even sports drinks. 2- Eat fruits every day. 3- Stay away from sugar as much as possible. There's plenty enough in almost any processed food you will eat. 4- Stop eating sausage, hotdogs, and any other type of cold meat. 5- If you vape or smoke, I would like to share with you, that my father died in 2014 of smoking-related throat cancer. He had stopped smoking in the early 70's! That stuff you put into your lungs, whether it's the tar and soot from tobacco, or the oils from vaping, will NEVER leave your lungs. It's not like our digestive system, once in there, it stays there and accumulates. 6- Try to at least make a 1-mile walk every day, it's enough to help your heart and circulation, you don't know how important that becomes when you are older. 7- Don't let stress get to you. Nothing is so important that it means you will feel sick from it. Everything is temporary in life, the good and the bad. Meditate whenever you can, but above all, enjoy your life, it's soooo precious! 8- Be kind to others, everyone has a bad day, and when people are rude to you, responding with a kind word will actually change their day, and yours. 9- Nothing makes you feel as good, as helping someone else. Try it. Go out of your way. But be mindful of respecting someone else's privacy. 10- If you have family, try to make sure you are always in touch with them, especially siblings and parents. No friend can replace them, and one day, without warning most probably, they will be gone. 11- BREATHE! 12- SMILE. 13- Sit up straight. 14- Put down your phone once in a while and look around. 15- Life is soooo short. I don't know when I became 53. Within my head, behind my eyes, I see myself still as a 20-year-old. Although my body tells me differently, precisely because I didn't do a LOT of those things I just put on that list. Try not to make the same mistakes. It's not all bad, in fact, it's great! I love my life, my wife, my kids, my job. I just want it to last a lot more time, so I'm trying to follow that list now. And it's never too late to change. Have a great day!

  • Some people tend to forget that the best stories begin in the rain. Tears fall to mingle with heaven's drops at the loss of a friend or a love; weeping impinges with divine fury into the dirt between the feet of men-at-arms, soldiers as tightly packed as the rain; or perhaps sitting inside and watching life be nurtured by the gentle downpour. Perhaps one or none or all? Our story this evening? With us being slumped over in a puddle amidst mud in a small town with a tower nestled in the center like a crown. I'd never much understood why they say crossroads are important places. But The Stranger trudging through the rain did stop at this one and that's how I found family again. Or rather, he found me.

You have so much potential within you. You are capable of so much. And I am sorry that the world, at times, has tried to convince you otherwise. But you are going to do great things. You are going to become the person you are working towards. You are going to look back on the moment you ever doubted your future, or your happiness, or your heart, and you are going to be so glad that you kept going, that you kept believing in the fact that life was going to surprise you.

I feel a sense of immense peace, and I've never felt this way before. I spent the last 2 hours working so productively, like I've never worked before. • It rained softly, with the occasional strike of thunder briefly illuminating the rolling grey clouds. With his back to the wall, the man lit a cigarello. The embers glowing amber. Pulled deep. Breathed grey. Absently he watched droplets splash against churned mud and pools of water that had formed. Above the drone of conversation behind him, his ears pricked at the sound of hooves and wagon wheels. A peasant passed, with his head bent and his hood raised. The man took another drag, casually glancing at his surroundings. Houses of brick and mortar, all cast in the gloom. Windows had been shut against the rain, doors locked. No light in any of them. If it wasn’t for the pitter-patter, the world would have sunk into an uneasy silence. “Selron.” Said a voice to his right. He kept his vacant stare ahead. The smoke bellowed from his noses, like an enraged bull. “You’re late.” “Bah! A mere minute between friends.” He gave the source of the voice a most unfriendly look. Effortlessly flicking his burning cigarillo away, he gestured to the tavern door. “Shall we?”

  • It had been a long, wet walk, and he was glad to have finally found shelter from the large drops of midsummer rains that blanketed the area for the past number of days. The grey clouds above had rolled in, and weren't keen on leaving yet. Standing on the wooden porch of the tavern and shaking off the heaviest of the water on his simple brown cloak, he found his way into the tavern, drawing his cloak back from his head and allowing the warmth of the fire and the smell of fresh baked bread, roasted meats and meticulous stews waft over him. He eyed the room, tired, but not unkindly. Most people seemed generally nonplussed as he'd arrived, so he made himself comfortable at a rough oak table off to one side, and waited patiently until a server made their way to him. Requesting a hot bowl of stew and flagon of ale, he finally relaxed and let the sounds of the tavern wash over him. He stayed there a while, maybe as long as a couple of hours, but the stew never went cold, nor the ale ever gotten warm. He finished the last of the dense wheat roll that was complimentary to the meal, retrieving the last few dribbles of broth from the bottom of the bowl he had recently finished a moment or two before. A seldom, warm smile overcame his features, and he elected to stay in town until the rain had gone and the roads had dried up. He might even find some coin to be made on cleanup efforts. He wasn't quite home, yet, but the tavern felt very close to it.

  • On rainy days, much does not happen, yet much does. It's best to remember the future is always unpredictable and in motion - For none can tell what will happen in that which has yet to be. Keep an open mind, keep your chin up, and dare to dream. A chance meeting can happen even on the rainiest of days, after all. Life is one great adventure, where hardly a thing is set in stone, and anything can unfold, mostly when you least expect it too. For adventure and wonder can be found everywhere, as long as you remember to keep looking for them.

  • If your reading this, it's probably night time or maybe your studying for that upcoming test you have, or you might not be doing anything, you might just want to listen to some calming music. No matter the reason, I hope you know that everything is okay, take a deep breath, pause your studying, stop what your doing, look outside, go outside if possible, just for a minute. Take a minute to take a couple deep breaths outside, get some fresh air. Fill your lungs with the cold air outside, take a minute to look around, look at this beautiful earth we live on, it may be flawed but it's still beautiful. Just like you, I hope you dream, I hope you find yourself, do what you want to do, find your happy place, be around the people you love! Do anything that could help you. I might be a stranger talking to another stranger telling them what to do as if I know them, but I want you to know, you're loved by many. It might not feel like it but I promise things will look up for you. You'll find love, make friends with the greatest people, achieve your dreams. I hope you can live your own life, be the happiest you possible ❤

  • 'm the only one that feels kinda nostalgic listening to these songs? Idk, it's a weird feeling when you listen to something you have never heard and then you feel like this, lacking of something, missing someone or somewhere. Could it be that our past lifes heard something similar and our souls take out feelings we used to live? Maybe 'm just daydreaming but, deep in my hearth, I can feel that lack, that miss. I can see someone, someone that used to be important to me, I can feel him but I can't see him. My soul remembers him, how he make me feel and how we used to be. My body can't decipher these feelings, so I suppose that's why 'm feeling like this. Might he be somewhere too? Or is he no longer here? If it's so, he is far, far, far away from me and I can't even imagine where he is. Could it be time what is distancing us? Or is it lenght which separate us? Why aren't we together? Why I miss someone I've never meet? Who is him? Would I see him someday? I hope one day this lack vanishes and I can find him, so we can listen to these and remember our pasts lifes, then, continue from where we left it, as it our upsents never happened. Maybe I just feel really lonely and 'm imagining things, but... who knows? To the kind reader that took his time to read through out my inexplicables feelings, thank you so much. You are so sweet

    @orion_galaxy._@orion_galaxy._2 жыл бұрын
    • "Every man has forgotten who he is. One may understand the cosmos, but never the ego; the self is more distant than any star. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God; but thou shalt not know thyself. We are all under the same mental calamity; we have all forgotten our names. We have all forgotten what we really are. All that we call common sense and rationality and practicality and positivism only means that for certain dead levels of our life we forget that we have forgotten. All that we call spirit and art and ecstasy only means that for one awful moment we remember that we forget." - G.K. Chesterton (Orthodoxy). "Certainly there was an Eden on this very unhappy earth. We all long for it, and we are constantly glimpsing it: our whole nature at its best and least corrupted, its gentlest and most humane, is still soaked with the sense of ‘exile’." - J.R.R. Tolkien (The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien). You are far from the only person to feel this way. I think many a thoughtful, idealistic person has probably felt this way one time or another. Music like this touches a nerve - a chord, if you will - that reminds us that this is not our home, that this world is not perfect and is not meant to be perfect: that what is best has been lost and is not yet recovered, at least not for us still in this world.

    • @@LittleMezzoBird yes, that nearly how I feel. I miss the old days. I miss when my cousins and I went to the beach all together, when we all slept in the same bedroom, when we did things together. I hate when my grandma says she struggles to do things she used to do so easily, I hate when my father says he is to old for things he used to do. I hate to say goodbye because, when will we see each other again? Maybe never? I hate when you notice the time flew and you start to feel desperate to recover a past that is over. I wish I could just go back in time to tell my oldself: "Stop thinking about the past and enjoy!" Perhaps now I wouldn't feel like this because someone told me to stop. I don't know. I just afraid of getting old, forgetting places, people... or never finding that someone that, deep in my heart, I want to met.

But, given the choice, I don't know if I would go back to that time. My life wasn't majorly better then; it's just, in retrospect, the problems that I dealt with were pretty small. But that's in retrospect. At the time, they seemed pretty big. And, while life has gotten a lot more complicated, there have been ways that it's gotten better. I've thought about going back to certain years in my life sometimes, years where it seemed better. But in order to go back, I would have to let go of friends that I made after that point in time, of various experiences that I'm glad I had, of maturity that I've gained since those times, and so every time I wish that I could go back, I find myself asking, "Would it really be worth it?" Change is always happening. That doesn't mean that all change is bad. There's nothing wrong with missing the past, but we need to remember to keep looking at the future. I'm guessing that you, like me, have most of your life ahead of you at this point; it's important not to let it slide past because we're looking back at what we've lost. Otherwise, in addition to the many good things from the past that we've lost, we'll be looking at opportunities that we missed that we'll wish we had taken. Let's just remember to cherish the moments as they come. Take them in with all your senses, and tell yourself, "Remember this moment in time to come." It actually works, even with really random things. One time, I was out walking in spring, and a cool breeze hit me. I shivered, and told myself to remember that shiver, because, come summer, I would wish to be cold. I was maybe ten when that happened (if that); I still remember it. :)

  • The only thing better than the mesmerizing music? All you absolute mad lads commenting and liking each other’s comments x3 The fantasy genre may not always be in the spotlight of society, but it’s the fans such as you who is reading this and finding comfort knowing there are others out there. The tavern that unites us all may not exist physically, it exists within the hearts and souls of us all x3

It's something so small (and I know how tedious it can be too), but I feel like not enough channels do it. It makes me happy knowing that if I hear a track I especially love, I can find it AND the artist easily. Thank you, and God bless!

  • (Might as well use all of this creative writing energy that was built up with this awesome music for something) With a rain as heavy as that day's one promised to be, he had hoped that his fellow townspeople would be wise enough to stay inside their cozy homes, but alas, the sight of a hooded figure approaching his door had proven him wrong. Whoever that person was, it seemed like a good drink was worth getting wet to them. The tavern keeper walked down the stairs, huffing to himself. As much as he enjoyed to make a living out of just root beer and lively talks with his many customers, he also liked to spare a few hours for reading and even writing whenever he could. His friends told him he was a fool acting out as a minstrel, but oh well, they still payed him the drinks. (To be continued)

  • Just do your best. But, don't do it for anyone else, do it for you. Don't do it because you want to know what other people think. You don't owe that luxury to anyone but yourself. After all is said and done, if you can honestly and truly say to yourself that you've done your very best, then nothing that anyone else says will ever matter. This world can be a cruel place, there's enough disappointment and negativity as it is. If nothing else, even though we may never meet and I may never speak to you outside of this comment, know that I will be here to cheer you on, because I know that you're doing what you can to become the best version of yourself and nothing should stand in the way of that. You can do it. Whatever it is, I know you'll make it. 💙

And i can say that i'm on a right path ! I'm learning something every single day ! I'm learning new skills and am good at many too ! I'm a good as an artist, gamer, writer, runner, thinking, drawing, advisor, technician, learner, etc. I am learning all of these and i know that i won't ever be able to learn everything there is. But i want to learn as much as i could. Hoping someday i can be more than just a silent kid sitting in a classroom weak and getting bullied and being used when people need me.

  • Ah, loud thunder roaring but does not frighten me, After a long journey and coming back from the guild, Lets retreat for the evening...or is it post meridian? The clouds crowd, i can not read the time with it... Bright light flashes again...but again does not even scare a passerby. Nor the knights that galops away. Bright light continues to flash like a fire that flickers in contrast to the dark forest, but only small roars... they sound like the drums from the cargos dragged unto the ship i lodged in to sail across the great desert terrain for a quest. Only the gushing wind to push the sails. In comparison, its a downpour. But it's more soothing for a good nap from that long and scorching quest. As i lay in bed after resting in a chair taking off my boots and coat. My head feels lighter as I lull on the soft pillow. Perhaps because i'm so tired, I almost didn't notice the sound of a hoofed animal dragging...a wagon? Perhaps its a wisent, with its heavy stomp. But the rain drowns the sound, thus faint. I can only watch the droplets of water trickle against my window. I have no strength, more like i don't wish to move. I count the drips as they fall. I too...wish to just...drift... ...into my world. Zzz
