  • What's crazy is LeBron held rose to 1-15 over the last two 4th quarters of the series. Stepped up and guarded rose and kept rose out of the paint for the most part. Rose turned into a jump shooter or passer with James on him. And on the other end LeBron was scoring clutch shots. Just beautiful

    • LeBron is an elite defender when he needs to especially he is fast and big. However, LeBron did not do it alone. It was literally a box and 1 defensive formation. LeBron would slow Derrick down and his teammates blocked the lane totally to unable him to drive inside and shoot floaters forcing him to take difficult shots. The Heat were already used to The Bulls completely especially they did not have a legit second scorer. In the whole series, Bosh averaged more points than LeBron

    @kingsupreme25@kingsupreme253 жыл бұрын
    • Thats how that coach interpreted it. I'm a coach and I played over season for years. They were playing a trap/funnel system on defense. He did everything right and better than anyone had done that season (it was crunch/clutch time a majority of those times, go back and see where the clock is and the times in the specific quarters. It was systematic any time he guarded him because at those times spolstra just want Brons size and athleticism there. It's deeper than rap!

    • @@ricothomas2200 bro...for one I watched that series and I couldn't understand for the life of me...where people started saying he looked up derrick rose. Everytime he guarded Rose, Rose blew by him and got to the whole or assisted on a play. I remember when I first time I heard that narrative being kind of mentioned. Lebron was guarding derrick on a past shot to win. Rose got the shot he wanted but missed. You could hear Mike Breen talking like lebron played some lock down defense on Rose. But that's the nba, they just create narratives. Even tho I've seen john lucas the iii leave lebron looking dumb, and he's not half the player as rose

  • In the end bulls got checked. Coz of few offensive option, thought he miami heat wasnt able to stop d rose totally they were able to win by limiting the whole output of the bulls by focusing on forcing the bulls play on all drose's hand. Noah boozer and the rest relies on drose's penetration drop passes. In the last 4games of the series they made it hard for drose to pass so its all on him.the rest of the bulls are stopable players. Noah is an all star but not an offensive allstar type. Boozer can finish left and right with his post moves but very vulnerable upon doubles amd deng was a goos role player but hes not like pg13 joe johnson or pierce or someone to lessen drose's load, korver is a deadlock shooter but not as consistent in his atlanta hawks year. Though gotta love those players leading the regular season with a roster full of injuries..

  • We're seriously overblowing Lebron shutting down Rose. They played great team defense, and Chicago really didn't really have a lot of offensive firepower. They wore Rose down. People love to go back to this one series to some how prove Lebron didn't stop playing defense until he got to the Lakers. He's 6'9 with very quick feet. Of course, he was able to play decent defense to an extent. This was a very good defensive team thanks to the Coach Lebron wanted to get rid of

    • @@stifler5062 Nice excuses for lack of effort. I'm questioning your basketball IQ. Young Lebron was known for the the chasedown block. And he clearly attempted to block Rose's shot on that left handed layup, he just guessed wrong. So it was a lack of effort on the plays he backed off.
