The Premier League Relegation Battle is TOXIC
No matter what happens to Luton, they deserve credit. People wrote them off by saying that they would break Derby record of 11 points. They managed to make their games entertaining and they did the basics by defending well and utilising Doughty's amazing crosses
That absolutely
How many times have VAR screwed them over? 0 times
Luton has reminded me a lot of Blackpool under Ian Holloway all them years ago. They have the same dogged fighting spirit and have certainly surprised a few teams. Sadly, however, similarly to Blackpool, I think they might just fall short at the last.

Its ironic that Newcastle started the spanking that Sheffield united receive every week with that 0-8 and they relegate them with a 5-1 bartering
Really harsh ain't it
What is ironic is how much they pushed against the Toon in the first half at St James' Park. Smashed 8-0 with barely a whimper at Bramwell, but take the lead and could have had another 3 give or take easy. Now, sure it was the 8-0 game around when Toon players started dropping like flies and the return there's neay a starting 11 out including Pope, but the Toon in the 5-1 were still a capable bunch. Bruno, Isak, Gordon, Schär, Tino, Hall etc. So a lot of credit is due to Sheff Utd for that 1st half. Shame for their fans that when they have played like that they usually crumbled early enough to suffer. If that first half was their full 90 minutes in all their games, they'd be safe long ago. Part the problem though has been the lack of a clinical forward line, but when owners don't invest after that leap, you're going to suffer.
@@captainhybrid4045Yep, bang on. We've had some abysmal performances this season, but some half decent ones too, but always with half a dozen defensive cock ups in the mix, especially in the second half.
13-1 on aggregate 😂😂

This, the bottom 3 are all awful. If it wasnt for the deductions the relegation spots were locked before Christmas.
@@PvtVallen they would’ve been locked if the went unpunished I don’t see the issue
No, if the teams that got the deductions had acted within in the rules their squads wouldn't be as strong at they are, so they would have fewer points. Simple.

😂this comment cracked me up
Except shefield United, all the teams involved in relegation battle are looking threatening.
Sheff is already relegated
Losing to Newcastle on Saturday relegated us. And barring the chance that, by some miracle, we manage our first clean sheet this season, we'll have shipped more than 100 goals too. Excuse me while I go cry into my Henderson's relish...
Sheffield United are one of the worst I've ever seen disgustingly bad team. And thay defence is diar. They'll have 100+ goals conceded by seasons ended
@@mhdbh437 that's why they excluded Sheffield 🤦♂
Burnley doesnt really look theeatening
As an Everton fan i reckon dyche has a chance to bring us forward, you dont get the second most clean sheets if you arent doing somewhat of an alright job, without the deductions i think the December moment would have carried us further and wed be a already mid table team
I don’t watch you every week but from what I have seen I think you need a boring year or two under dyche finishing mid table not worrying about relegation and maybe pushing for Europe, if you don’t then think about replacing him, but I can’t see why you would drop him when you’re only barely away from the oh are Everton going to go down this year period.
Even now without deductions everton is 13th or something and almost all the remaining games are winnable.
The problem with this year is 2 clubs have lost points for a supposed crimes the top 6 commit on regular basis and get away with. The fair play rules on finance make poor clubs poor and the top 6 more and more rich. Plus Everton financial problems is they building a new ground and part the money was financed by a Russian Company Owner and the government made dealing with them illegal leaving Everton with a huge hole in its bank account.
Check your facts matey, we, The Arsenal have obeyed the FP rules way back into Wengers reign. Many of us think his refusal to do what some were doing cost us dear in silverware terms! Bob England Gooner

The blood pressure of the both sets of supporters will be insane 😭
Dyche should stay. He’s brought relative stability on the field and we should continue that structure.
Agreed. Even skeptics have to consider him a miracle worker with this mess.
Agreed people complain about this style of play i honestly don't mind it
City will go down they will get a 115 point deduction tomorrow
I think I speak for everyone when I say we’re rooting for Luton’s survival
Not at all. Infact that is stupid knowing there are forest and Burnley fans who need them down.

The thing that has killed us (Luton) this season is the injury crisis, Vizeh mentioned it and yes we are just about getting some of those players back but the effects the crisis has had on the team as a whole is damming, the moment the ball is kicked at the start of a game we look knackered so we can't play our style of football otherwise we'll risk injuries and it means we can't defend as well. Super unfortunate but there's been definining moments this season, like Bournemouth away, that we've been on the wrong side of every single time and even though most games we could be proud of our team because we've played well that doesn't give us points and is why we are in the place we are right now. Also, only winning 1 game since beating Brighton 4-0 at the end of January is telling of how our form fell off a cliff following Christmas.
luton can still survive bro
@@imamsuchapro6114 I know we can still survive, I think if we don’t beat Everton we’re all but down. However, the performances since we beat Bournemouth have just demonstrated how tired we are and honestly any more performances similar to those against Brentford and Wolves (excluding the final 15 minutes) then there’s no way I see us winning any of our remaining games. But here’s hoping I’m wrong
@@benltfc8462 I mean with adebayo back Luton has a good chance and as soon as he came on a goal and osho is also fit
@@imamsuchapro6114 that’s true although I don’t think Adebayo can play 90 minutes, definitely not against Everton maybe against West Ham and at the very least Fulham but anything he can give will definitely help us
As a Mag I fully understand that injury problem. Also as a Mag, I've actually been routing for Luton's survival. If you do drop I personally believe it won't be long before getting back up. So if you get relegated, please don't take too long in coming back to the EPL.
I think burnley is setting themselves up for a rescue . Plus last game of the season is forest
I hope so too
@@VizehI think so with the comments forest made they won’t get as many decisions. you’re gaining a point a game at least. One win will save you. But summer you need to find a striker. Gk not so much he just needs confidence.
That’s if Luton loses to Everton and if Sheffield United loses
@@Dropkickurteacher I could be wrong, but I think they’ll go down playing decent Sheffield United. that’s only a thought, though. If they can get a draw which forest it’s still puts Burnley in a great position.
vizeh ur videos are really good and i love an unbiased insight on football. keep it up 👍
Thank you mate
What happened to Luton was thousands upon thousands of injuries.
While finding that the Toon have lost the most days to injuries this season (1,658) I found Luton lost 1,160. Shame for Luton it isn't the league table on points, they'd be 10th. So for a team in the EPL for the first time during the EPL era of top flight football, via playoffs, with the stadium capacity and so on, you've done remarkably well. From this Mag I have been routing for Luton to survive, if they don't I have a feeling they'll be back up soon.
I really hope bloody Burnley stay up, truly the best of the bottom 4 right now.
Thank you mate, Forest did play well today though!
I feel like, if forest and everton didn’t overspend, they’d have more passion and result in more points. But a statement I will stand by is that both passion and quality wise, 22/23 forest was better than 23/24 forest.
Fair lad
You not watch Everton team and fans at the derby on Wednesday? What you mean more passion lol. How does overspending by 19m on stadium loan interest affect passion. The points deductions are the only reason there is a good relegation battle this year and it’s brought more passion out of the bottom clubs if anything.
Forest definitely have a better team than last season but the consistency just isn't there. When they are on their A game they game comfortably beat top half teams
Oddly, I think the points deduction did Everton a favour. Without a doubt proved they deserve to be up given how often they've circled the drain over recent years at times.
Everton didn't even overspend that much. Moshiri maybe refused to cut in some FA executive on the takeover deal. They won't approve the takeover, then blame the club and put it into administration.
I hope Luton Town stay up, truly would be a wonderful story. However, if they stay up this season, I'm not too sure if they will survive the 24/25 season. I think Burnley has the best long term project out of those 3 teams if they manage to stay up.
I agree, I really hope Luton stays up but if they do, I fear they'll get "second season syndrome" and do very very poorly
Forest will definitely be better for the EPL in the long run. Largest fanbase of the 3, most successful of the 3 & have the ability to scale the entire club up.

it'd be great to see luton stay up, they have been fantastic this season for the scale of their club and really subverted what we all thought they'd be like
Always rated Dyche, we're lucky to have him imo. He exceeds my expectations of him and anything he gives us more than survival is a bonus at this point :D
Dyche has to be back next season. He’s gotten the most out of this squad and shown flashes of quick fluid football these past few games. Excited for next season

Given how we don't seem to be playing well atm ourselves, think you've got a chance next week haha. Sure we scored 5, but that was more down to Sheff falling apart if anything. Good luck though.

If Forest can get 2 or even 1 point back then its absolutely massive
Yo great vid with mike frm BlueBoyz, not sure about dyche except if we had our points back and we win our nxt 2 against luton and sheff utd we would have 50 pts. That exceeds my expectations
What's going wrong with Forest is our set piece defense. We wouldn't be anywhere near relegation if we hadn't conceded from so many corners / free kicks this season.
As a Forest fan, i find this relegation battle particularly heartbreaking, because i genuinely would be happy for Burnley and Luton to stay up, but now that can only happen at Forest's expense. I agree with your opinion that the quality of the prem is at an overall high this season. Ive noticed exactly that watching a lot of mid to low table games this seasons how much quality a lot of these teams and players actually have. They just get unlucky; Forest especially. If we stay up, i hope we escape relegation earlier next season so i dont have to be this stressed all the time. But im worried if we dont escape we wont make it back to the prem for a while
I honestly want Burnley to stay up , soley to see what they look like in year 3 of the kompany project and how they adapt to the prem
Football has gotten toxic!
As an Everton fan, good luck for the rest of the season. And thanks for the points ;)
Im a VfL Bochum fan from Germany but I love ur vids fella
As an Everton we need to keep Dyche he has taken a very poor side with little budget to staying up with 3 games left after an 8 point deduction and if we didnt have a deduction and a very poor run of form through the middle of the season we could be challenging for european places right now
whatever team stays up it will have the lowest points tally for a surviving team, unless Forrest wins the last 3 on the bounce... 34 points is the worst team ever to survive
Anyone else get a donkey sanctuary advert after he said donkey when talking about Sheffield United talk about timing
The title races are over in all the leagues now it’s the relegation races which are so interesting.
‘done at home…’ 😂😂
0:32 that guy besides Dyche really looks like Arne Slot lmao
Dyche is the right man at the right time. He's the only stable thing at the club. Give him the next 1 or 2 seasons more and reassess based on performance.
I personally want Luton Town to stay up.
I’m a Newcastle fan and I’m not confident against you we’re shit away from home
As a Nottingham Forest fan, I want to believe we’re safe, but given our record, I think we’re on our way down lol.
Still amazing that Sheffield United got promoted and sold 2 of if not their best 2 players right before the season started and their owner was actively trying to sell the club at least during the beginning of the season
That's pretty much why they've suffered through the season. Then the owner had the nerve to fire the manager who didn't deserve it.
nobody talks about the fact that notts forest have spent like 300m in the past 2 seasons and for what 2 relegation scraps
17th luton 18th Nottingham forest 19th burnley (sorry Vizeh) 20th sheffield united
I think Nottingham has to stay up. They have 2 games against sides in the area plus an advantageous goal difference. They also get to play Chelsea and they’re just jokes As for Everton I think they would be best to stick with Dyche until they’re out of their financial woes. Dyche is scrappy and will take 2 sticks and a rock and make a fucking wall. He’d keep them out of relegation until they can move onto challenging. If I’m wrong than I’ll be damned but it makes no sense to move ok just yet
My team, sheff united... got an idea we're down this season, just a hunch
I'm just glad Everton stayed up. Been a weird season, Premier League tried to take us down but Dyche told them to do one. 🎉
it’s really annoying that nobody knows, but just a few weeks ago luton only had 13 fit players, yet everyone thinks we are just awful
But that’s why you invest in squad depth.
A very fair assessment, I'm Forest so hope we get away with it despite the embarrassing self inflicted publicity - good luck bud.
Dude, you better be at TST this year. I’d love to buy you a pint.
Vizeh yearns for the championship
Vizeh, what is your opinion on Antony of all players scoring a goal against Burnley
Forest was better than city today. Crazy how far down he table they are
We (Forest) find out this week if we get any points back.
I'd honestly say i think that Dyche can take us forward. I think that if he can sort out our goalscoring situation we can challenge for Europe. Also, son't forget we are literally challenging for top 10 right now disregarding deductions
Ion know what he just said but hey it sounded heat man keep going and don’t listen to the hate❤
As a City fan I have been pulling for Burnley because of Vincent Kompany... Its going to be a tightrope finish!
I think the bottom half of the table remains the same as it is now until the end of the season tbh
I think Sheffield United, Man City (. 127 point deduction, Luton sadky
I just hate the way the points deductions are being thrown left and right. Do it in the summer
The fact it can all change with a points result with Forest is so annoying man
@Vizeh Exactly. What if Forest manages to appeal the points deduction in time before the end of the season? They're just playing with my emotions too much

As an Everton fan glad to be out of it. I feel like Burnley are going to pull it off, but my head says forest. Good luck Burnley though.
Luton fan here. I'd be lying in saying I have much hope, been using the excuse of the injury list but we have had 2 games now where we had some big players return, in Lokonga and Osho, only for us to go lose 5-1 to Brentford. Wolves wasnt bad and when Adebayo made it on, we looked like a team that can win games again. So maybe if Adebayo plays the 90 vs Everton we have a chance but its do or die right now. Either way I wont be all that sad as I did not expect to be in this position and we have done ourselves so proud but making 80% of loses really difficult for our opponents. Plus if we truly get a winner takes all match Notts vs Burnley, would be pretty insane tbf.
As a Nottingham Forest fan, I'm conflicted At one hand, I want us to stay at the PL At another, I wished this didn't cost Luton Town's staying
if my team wasnt in the relegation battle (forest), I would've liked to see burnley stay up
