You've not mentioned how Ipswich largely have the same team/squad that got us out of league one, McKenna is an amazing coach as well as manager who has massively improved players
I pretty much did refer to it, most of Ipswich was the fact I think you are punching above your weight massively and that’s thanks to the great work of McKenna
Well Leicester City just got promoted, sooooo.........yeah
Fittingly, the first promotion happened not because a team won but because one of their rivals lost: QPR destroyed Leeds 4-0 and now Leicester will mathematically end in the top 2 spots, securing promotion.
“Not because he’s good but because he’s bald” 😂😂 hilarious
Our squad value is 1/4 of Leicester, we ARE massively overachieving, and if we do get to them prem I know we’ll come straight back down. But I’m so proud of what McKenna has done for us, what the new owners have done and what the players have done. In my 25 years I’ve seen 1 relegation and 1 promotion (not counting early 00s I was too young lmao) so to be sat in the autos with the big boys of the league…it’s nice

For club owner's it's a no brainer. You make a bunch of money. It's the players and the coaches who are gonna be getting wrekt each week.
Feel like Leicester would have, but the whole FFP and points deduction killed their motivation.
I don’t think that should impact the players though really
@@Vizehyou'd be surprised, the mentality of the squad from the Rodgers' days is paper thin - see the two bottled Champions League finishes and managing to go from 8th to relegated in a single season. They have no composure under pressure.
@@Vizeh Which is fair. But given how it's already been a struggle for newly promoted sides this PL season. Along with points deductions being all over. Leicester could potentially be in a tough position as a result. Which puts the question of wanting to go up at current stage, or take it in the Championship instead.
Never thought id see tanking in football
😂
Gotta get that #1 Draft Pick
One thing you need to remember about leeds is our poor start came from one of the most manic summers ive seen since 2007 administration. Previous owner dragging his feet over selling the club. Manager search took ages. Ridiculous loan clauses for our former players meant a huge chunk of our first team was just allowed to leave for no transfer fee. A lot of our main signings came in right at the end of the summer window which kind of made our really weak start.
Norwich's league position is a bit of a false one. When Josh Sargent has been fit, they've been one of the best teams in the championship, when he wasn't fit for several months, they were one of the worst. Definitely got an outside chance of promotion via the playoffs.
As a Leeds fan, witnessing how every other promoted team is doing right now. Yes, I'm terrified of the Prem. Convinced we go straight back down if we go up
If Farke is there I think you’d go down yeah
Personally I’ve got faith, MOT regardless tho😂

As a Chelsea fan Im happy at the development of Omari Hutchinson at Ipswitch
As a Norwich fan I did not see that conclusion coming. But you bet your bottom dollar that facing Ipswich in the play-offs would be electric
I just know that youse lot are gonna agonisingly beat us in the playoff finals like its 2015 all over again. It's weird for me to say however, but I want us to get automatics and youse to win the playoffs because in my opinion the East Anglia derby is underrated and belongs in the Premier League.
Despite being an Arsenal fan I got a soft spot for Ipswich just purely because of using them on FM a few years ago, hopefully they can make it to the prem
Same. Except that I used Ipswich in a fifa cm years ago
Southampton: urgh, fine........ i guess we'll just win it then!!
Didn't thought that you would do a video about the Polish Ekstraklasa... oh wait
That league is carnage too
I love that you give the Championship coverage that you do. It’s an absolute wild right for a lot of clubs. (If Burnley do get Relegated) I hope to see them play well and bring some joy to you and your people. Y’all deserve it, Burnley are better than what the table suggests. Seems like the season is cursed with some of the results y’all have had.
Apart from the three relegated clubs, most Championship clubs are similar in size. It's a pretty even playing field and the unpredictability makes it more entertaining.
I want Ipswich to go up.. as an Ipswich fan after so long being shit getting promoted two seasons on the run would be amazing, but we just do not have the defence for the premiership
Great video mate! As a Wednesday fan I’d like to see you do a video on the epic relegation battle that’s currently going on
Honestly as a Saints fan, I don't really want to go up either. Thought we had thrown it away months ago anyway. The only positive I can see for promotion aside the cash (obviously) is we will get to sign Harwood-Bellis permanently and he is class. I think will become a key England centre-back in the future. Apart from that spending a year getting probably thrashed multiple times and likely at best celebrating finishing like 14th just isn't that fun. So much money in the PL these days there is just no hope for middling clubs most of the time, even if you do have a decent season (like we did in 15/16 or say Brighton did last year) you get picked apart the next season by the big clubs. When you see clubs like West Ham get like 50-60k every week spend £50 million on single players and they are still like 8-10th what can I ever expect Saints to do? Also whilst we probably get a free pass in this vid, we should have done better than we have BUT our team was worse than Leeds and Leicester last year and we lost more key players than those clubs did. We sold like £150 million worth of players (plus loaned a lot of other out) and have spent like £20 million back in. So I'd reckon our wage bill is lower than Leeds.
If Burnley knew what was going to happen to them this would have also happened to them lol 😂😭
Fortunately the league this year is tougher than last seasons
Burnley have actually got a chance after results really went in their favour this weekend, only 3 points behind Forest WHO THEY PLAY AT HOME on the final day!
You should see HSV and how they haven’t been promoted even though they have a clear financial advantage
They're afraid of a 10 point deduction
I was looking at the table this morning and thought the same thing. Did Leicester really just gain enough of a lead so they could drop back into the play- off places to get the extra tickets sales, but not get promoted😮
6:00 never have i ever hearx something more accurate in my life (as a leeds fan btw)
In terms of Leicester the last 3 games where they conceded had a combined xg of about 0.2 so a bit unlucky and the players falling to sleep. As well as the the strikers can’t finish
This league is the gift that keeps on giving
As exciting as the top of the Championship is, the relegation battle is what interests me way more. Just about every club at risk of relegation has a match against a top team along with a match with a club at risk of dropping. Personally I have Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham City dropping with Rotherham United but two completely different teams in the current safe zone seem more likely to be relegated, especially if QPR doesn’t pull off the out of nowhere win against a top club trick… again.
plymouth with no wage bill still holding on, truly beautiful
A whole video on the transformation of Ipswich from 14,000 fans abd mid table in league 1 with an awful owner to being on the brink of the premier league praying we go up
What I enjoyed about this video was the confirmation from an outsider that we're doing so well. I was surprised that our squad value is "only" 50 million euros. Under the previous "owner" we were heading for the wilderness.
Didn't prime Ipswich won the Europa League back in the 70's?

i feel as a leicester fan if enzo starts rotating options right now instead of sticking to the same ppl week in and week out might because i feel mayb Cannon and Souttar can help make an extra impact if he gives them minutes
So glad my team isn't fighting for promotion or relegation. I'm just chilling out enjoying the carnage in the Championship with zero stress!

Burnley and Sheffield have been preparing for the championship this entire premier league campaign. It almost seems like teams are playing for parachute payments… not for league places

Ipswich's situation is funny to watch as an Indonesian because they have a player they've loaned out called elkan baggot. He became a naturalized citizen of Indonesia and has been one of our best players when he plays for the national team. If Ipswich go up on one hand they have no reason to keep him because they're doing so well without him. But i'm sure the marketing folks there have seen what effects we Indonesians could have on social media. If they kept him or even play him in the premier league they would be securing themselves a money printer from the other side of the world.

This year is crazy for soccer/football
Maybe you should look at the 2nd tier back in the 95/96 season..extremely close throughout the league that year..and I think u could say nobody particularly wanted to win it I 96.
Ipswich looks like they will go up and then set the record for least Prem points ever
They need to give newly promoted teams more money. There’s teams in the prem worth 500 million plus and 30 million is not enough
brazilian title races are like that kinda almost every year
You haven`t heard a lot then. Real Madrid onde won the league and still fired Capello.
Just looked at the Championship table now, and man this aged well 😂😂😂😂
Ipswich: what do you mean we get promoted? Where is the fairness in that? If we win the title, we should get the chance to defend it next year.
"Oh, you mean we're gonna go back to the Prem only to get relegated back the very next season? Yeah, we'll pass on that." -Leicester, Ipswich, and Leeds (maybe)
As a Leicester fan I can confirm that automatic places are lava, and congratulations to Southampton for winning the league
Leicester's bottling reminds me of Botafogo last year here in Brazil
1980/81 first division was just like this villa were extremely lucky to win the league that year arguably the luckiest title won in football
no it is seasonal fatigue which may be a huge reason
I was really enjoying this until you placed us in the Play Offs with Norwich. I can't take that again😂
As far as I know, Daniel Farke has only had success with parachute payment team in Norwich , he got sacked in the Bundesliga, I’m of the opinion that we will be a championship club next season
Tbf we need this promotion most out of everyone bc of our financial problems but we’re def getting relegated back down if we play the way we’ve been playing lately. The win against west Brom was one of our worst performances of the season could’ve easily been 5-2 west Brom it’s like Daka put all his energy to their strikers
It’s like each team is saying……..promotion! No after you!
enzo ball is great, prior to the appointment of enzo there was not much faith amongst leicester fans that we would be able to go straight back up but enzo did amazing with signings and delivering a new identity to the team , and this worked so amazingly well and we looked the a mid table prem side instead of championship but it has come fallen off over the past 10 games or so but i would say most leicester fans still have belief, don't believe all the mongs you see on twitter
Top 3 playing the game of 'The Premier League Is Lava'
This is what hapoens when you allow teams to get oil money, you generate such a hyperinflation that teams from lower divisions don't want to get promoted lmao
The Championship is the real league my people .the rawness, the madness and the drama..
The level of football in the English leagues this season in general has been shockingly bad, definitely not the nest leagues this season
yeah, all of them sorta underperformed in europe
They are taking in turns in bottling. Lets not forget that this isn't Leicester's first time in bottling things 😂
I'm pretty sure if Leicester get promoted they get a points deduction as well.
Winning the 2nd division to just get destroyed in the 1st division? Yeah it’s no wonder teams are afraid of promotion.
Once i actually know how to put money in my credit card, i'm making your store restock twice
nah double it and give it to the next one
Interesting angle to take when in fact, it could well be a record high points total needed for automatic promotion. Somebody is going to miss out with 90+ points which has never happened before. All four teams have been incredibly consistent all season, it just so happens they are all having a wobble at the same time!
Although Leicester started wobbling some time before Leeds & Ipswich did.
Even Southampton bottled a chance to join the top 3 yesterday. They thought fuck that noise.
Can a team win the championship but choose to reject promotion?
Im surrounded by Leeds fans in my school who always talk crap about wednesday (who i support), so i hope they dont go up singlehandedly to laugh at them. But tbf, we’re gonna go down too so its a win-lose 🤷♂️
Might go down with u dw im a huddersfield fan Atleast we can take piss out of rotherham tho 😂
As a Southampton fan i know we wont win title but I am 90% sure we will go up this season either as runners up or playoffs, personally if it is us against Leeds in playoffs I think we can do it
Make a Middlesbrough video they have had very good academy players go to the top as well as end of season flops😢
Vizeh I have a question for you Do you want Burnley to win the Championship 🏆 next season ?
Honestly, thought Leicester didn't want to get promoted anymore cause of FFP😂
I would know like Middlesbrough last season in auto promotion just to drop to 5th in the last month and a half 😢😢😢
Look at Leicester now
If you would have asked me in the beginning of the season I would have thought Leicester would be the best team in the league with other clubs not even coming close. I thought they’d run away with the title the way West Ham and Newcastle have when they were relegated, having squads way too good for the championship.
As a Leeds fan I don't know whether I love or hate the championship, this shit isn't healthy for me
