This time Belly having kittens with a normal blue British shorthair munchkin cat. Cat giving birth to kittens. The kittens should be looks like father or mother. But, the new kittens are look completed different from their parents. I ask my friends, no one know what is the breed of one kitten. Super strange. LOL.

    • Do you know why that is? A cat doesn’t always purr because they’re happy or relaxed. Cats also purr when they’re in pain. The purr is an amazing sound that is at a frequency that is not only pleasing to the ear, but also has the capability to heal and soothe during stressful situations. That’s most likely why mamma is purring; she’s soothing herself and her babies.

  • I'm totally blind, so I read the description and comments, (but not all of them), using text-to-speech software. I take it you've done this before, and I was crying, too. Belly was such a good Mama and knew exactly what to do. It's always hardest when the first cat's crowning, but Belly was such a good sport. I don't think she stopped purring except when she was pushing. I heard her complaining when you were bathing her, but you worked very quickly and efficiently to get her right back to her babies. Great job! No one had to describe anything to me, either, because I knew what was going on thanks to your videography! That music makes this video so much more beautiful as a background soundtrack. Belly's purrs say it all, because she was so confident and knew just what to do, so what a good girl!

    • It was amazing to watch the mother cat give birth to her kittens. The babies are beautiful and they were being cleaned and fed by the mum. I’d like to have a cat one day. Have a lovely day Heather.

There are many breeds from which to choose, and you'll want to know which breed suits you. Some breeds are easier to care for than others, and longevity of life can depend on good health as much as whether you want an indoor cat or one who also likes the outdoors. Just remember, indoor cats usually live longer. My Angel is 19 years old, and she is exceeding what I expected, and I'm so glad. She's so sweet, and even the vet was blown away by her health at her last checkup. She's even there for me if she sees me starting to nod off. She quietly comes up to me and taps me on the knee and even purrs loudly in my ear as if she's saying "Now don't go to sleep here. I don't want you to fall out of your chair and get hurt.". She's absolutely amazing! Many blessings!

    • Heather stubbs wow 19 years old for a cat is unheard of! 19 years of wonderful memories too. I’ll have to look into the different breeds but I think a rescue cat from a shelter is probably what I’d get. It won’t be for a while though. Happy 4th of July to you too! Although I’m from the UK so it’s not a celebrated day here.

    • @@Zen_Power Thank you. Angel was a rescue. My friend, Despina, picked her up here in Atlanta at a no-kill shelter. Rescues can make some of the best companions, because they really appreciate the love and attention they receive and get to give to their new moms or dads. Godspeed on your search, and I hope I find just what I'm hoping for in a new cat. Who knows; I may wind up adopting two!

  • Note to humans! Stroking and comforting your cat is perfectly fine, they will tell you if they don’t want to be touched! Lol Actual delivery of kittens and cleaning them! Ffs let the mum do her job! She doesn’t need your help! And certainly doesn’t need anyone cutting anything!!!!

  • Why is her human interfering.. cutting the cord, wiping faces, moving kittens? Momma cats chew cords apart, and the rest, all by instinct in the birth process. She’s doing a beautiful job all by herself. ...Ahh, nervous human mommas. Edit: Very cute, but a bit too much, too early human contact I feel. It didn’t appear to be an emergency situation that called for all that. Animal births are not like humans.

    • Absolutely agree. I took in a pregnant stray and left her to do her thing. She had 6 beautiful kittens, all very healthy and they were all adopted.

    • I kept screaming at the screen lady stop interfering she’s doing just fine without your help. Animals know what to do when they are giving birth. Sweet gesture, yes… But still if it’s not an emergency let the mama do her job instinctively that’s how they teach their young.

  • I just love hearing this, but I think her purring is the best music there is. I love the music, but maybe you could upload the same video without the music? Or, could you play the music at about a quarter the volume? I mean turn down the volume of the music to 1/4 the volume? It's very beautiful, but the purrs and petting, and all the sounds Mom makes are the really important music here. She's so relaxed and happy with you petting her, and she trusts you completely.

  • Too much human intervention. Mother cats know what to do when giving birth including biting the umbilical cord. You should have left her alone to get on with it instead of bright lights and scissors.

    • Cats are social animals by nature. If this cat were living in a wild colony, there would be other mothers doing the same to help her. This human is her colony. Cats have no trouble telling people when to fuck off, and she didnt. It's fine.
