  • This has happened to us several times. Built a cat shelter for a couple, when very cold let them shelter in the garage. Already have 3 'rescue' cats indoors, won't take any more but we do also provide food. Managed to have two females from second to last litter fixed (who still hang around) but latest litter has two that are too skittish to even be certain they are female and afraid they'll be pregnant before getting fixed.

  • May be unpopular, and I realize it's a different culture and we're ALL different, but it boggles my mind that the work was already completed in bringing "feral" cats inside, and the work of re-introducing the 2 indoor cats could have been done so they could re-frame their existence and learn to get along. Instead you took the cats (momma and the kittens who at that point only knew indoor living) outside because what, you were afraid of the difficulty of the cats getting along and / or your living area getting a little messy??? If you're going to post videos of your magnanimous cat rescue, and want all the accolades of being a good human, you should really be a good human and give the rescued cats a good forever home and not turn them out because you may have some additional cleaning to do . . . Thanks for what you did, I'll take it. But it's not all that it could be.
